Hi lads, just wanted to win you good luck at getting 4th place and cl next season, great to see a team with English youngsters playing fantastic football and something to look forward to watching when your on sky. A quick question though, who do you guys fancy as replacement for lukaku next season if you don't get him? Also a nice change of pace seeing transfer rumours, being a leeds fan out page is erm preoccupied with other views at the minute!

{Ed002's Note - Batshuayi and Sergio Garcia have been looked at.}

Hey

Ideally Lukaku and I suspect we have the finance to buy him plus a little extra for other players without selling. If not, I like the way Bony plays at Swansea and Loic Remy at Newcastle/QPR. In terms of Rom, I have a sneaky feeling that even if we finished 5th he would consider signing if we can meet the fee. He has clearly bonded with the fans, the club, the players, the Chairman and of course Bobby. I wouldn't be surprised if he lessened his/his agents wage demands to come to a club which is progressing and he has a strong emotional bond with, just look at the way he celebrated with Bobby. He is only young and if it didn't work out for him he has time on his side. Only my humble opinion.

Thanks ed, are they who the fans want or who are rumoured to be coming in? I was looking for a view in who the fans would like to see, strangely I think if everton could get soldado on the cheap it may work, although a big risk and not easy to replace lukaku

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea who the fans want. These are players the club has looked at.}

Hey

How rude of me, thank you for the good wishes, much appreciated and let's hope your club settles down and finds the right investor and moves on

Yeah I do like logic Remy, although was surprised he's as old as he is only thought he was 24 but kind of reminds me of Henry, with your squad (and my personal favourite manager Martinez) think he would be a great choice they reckon around 15/16 mil don't they? And thanks just hoping we get stability more than anything prem can wait in my opinion would just be nice for no drama! Sorry ed, on our leeds one it's generally one editor who knows pretty much every poster and comment, Iv seen a various sites you are incredibly busy! Good luck again everton and look forward to seeing you play in CL!

Just a quick one on lakaku even if he wanted to stay his fate is not in his hands, Chelski will dictate where he goes.

The reason everton are still in with the chance for 4th place is mainly down to martinez he has done a wonderful job this season a bit of a shaky spell mid season but been brilliant since and the game against fulham will go down as a very important 3 points and barkley going off at half time was maybe a good thing because it allowed naismith to come on and he turned the game on its head he was excellent like he was in the arsenal game and he should be given a chance now to show how good a player he really is. I don't think some fan's realise the amount of terrible injuries this player has had everytime he came back he would get injured again. let's just hope those days are over and the evertonians get behind him. anyway ed good luck to the toffees for the rest of the season. and btw I am rangers fan and we have very serious problems up here but I still keep my eye on the toffees :)

{Ed025's Note - i have always championed naisy james, he is a fine player, who never gives less than 100%, ED007 told me about him a few years ago and said he was special, and with him being the celtic ED, you know how much of a compliment that is mate..good luck to rangers, im sure you will be back where you belong shortly..

Thanks ed for your thought's now to another point about him do you think if he continues his current form that he would be good enough for the likes of your manchester united man city or chelsea's I won't even dare mention that other diddy team from your area lol. I must be honest I will never ever forgive naisy for walking away from rangers and for the comment's he made but I do wish him well and hope if his perfomance's do continue to be exceptional to the end of the season that you can hang onto him next season and beyond.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - he is not at the same level as rooney, aguero, or suarez james, but he fits into our set up very well, playing in the hole off a guy like lukaku suits him down to the ground, or even as a false No9 like he did on sunday, we will hang on to him mate, as he is not showy or always in the limelight, he has blossomed under roberto martinez because he is not played out of position all the time, unlike the situation we had under our former manager..

Wrong Lancerboy.The player can dictate where he goes simply by refusing to join a club.If Chelsea are insistant on selling Lukaku, the buying club can be the players choice simply by him refusing all other suitors.

Hi ed. I know it has been a long time since I posted last. I have been working in the US since September and I am just back now. Can you let me know some business. I see our great position, I am so proud to be a loyal blue, shame on who is leading the league.
I just saw us linked to Tell and Atsu what are our chances of landing them. And what are our chances of landing big L u.

{Ed002's Note - The club would like to do something with Tello but it will be difficult. Lukaku is attracting interest from elsewhere and Chelsea would want Barkley as part of any deal. Atsu or Hazard are the most likely loanees right now - but nothing will be confirmed just yet.}

Hazard as in Eden? or his younger brother?

Thorgen, the younger brother.

Have seen an article on football direct news that we could be in for a loan for atsu next year, was this the prospective loanee ed?

{Ed002's Note - Feeling right now is Hazard or Atsu will be offered to Everton - nothing will likely be decided before the end of the season.}
