Kone had medical and agreed personal terms. To be announced an everton player within 48 hours

Believable13 Unbelievable5

Don't you mean the next 48 days? Taking forever this one.

Agree2 Disagree0

He will be going to african nation's in jan so if he signs will miss him. Would go for bent or defoe me like all day long! Proven!

Agree2 Disagree0

The next African Nations are been held in Jan 2015

Kev

Agree0 Disagree0

LOL. someones going to get it right sooner or later with a lucky guess. I pedict he will sign sometime next week

Agree1 Disagree0

The first of the relegation fodder arrives. when is Scharner due to sign?

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with previous poster. reports saying defoe is for sale. 5-6mil looks good to me, proven goal scorer in prem england international. say no more

Barcelona are loaning out cuenca again, we should go in for him! he's quality

Believable8 Unbelievable10

Or come on I bet you had never even heard of him a week ago. I look good on youtube too wonder if Martinez is interested in me?

Agree0 Disagree2

06 Jul 2013 20:36:15
You are becoming the new Lewblakey unless it Is the same person and cuenca only has eyes for ajax I think mate

Agree1 Disagree0

No? I've saw him play quite a few times.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is lewblakey mate? And I saw on a site he was going out on loan again I was just saying he would be a decent siging not we are signing him

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jul 2013 03:01:35
Someone who said we should sign anyone who scores a goal or has been listed as surplus to requirements to being sent out on loan he has mentioned players from carlton cole to franck ribery. Cuenca is not rated highly at barca he doesn't have pace or that good a passer or dribbler I see him as a guitierez (spelling) type of player he doesn't contribute in anything but he is always just standing there but you never know what he does imo he won't make it at barca or any team for that matter he will make a permenent move to ajax and if so I wouldn't mind viktor fischer we have no chance but he is the best youngster at that club even better than ericksen

Why is it taking us so long to buy a player ed do you think we have to sell before we buy anyone. really fairing for us this season if we don't strenghten our squad {Ed025's Note - roberto is working on it mate, he has only been here a week..

Believable6 Unbelievable2

I think it's better to wait and see who's staying and going before we buy anyone, we will have a bigger budget to work with, know who we need to replace and possibly bring a £10-15m goalscorer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Give it a rest, transfer window has only been open 6 days

Agree0 Disagree1

06 Jul 2013 17:31:12
Ed can you tell me and probably all Evertonians. Is abdullayev still at us and can he play? {Ed025's Note - hes gone home for good i think mate..

Believable5 Unbelievable1

We sold him back to his old team, I think it was taking too long to get a work permit, so we gave up basically

TC

Agree0 Disagree0

Failed to get a work permit I think, we've loaned him out like 5 times.

Agree0 Disagree0

Compleatly forgot about him, thought he was a good player

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2013 15:55:45
Are you expecting atleast 1 big name to be signed or big transfer like around £10m {Ed025's Note - i think there may be a surprise big signing, but would be guessing on the price..

Believable6 Unbelievable5

06 Jul 2013 17:32:14
What would be considered a big signing though. Kone? Or bigger. Bony? Is the man we need

Agree0 Disagree0

There is a possability that bony could come in with martinez maybe thinking the ivorian link up? but if we sign someone big money wise it will be moses. But if we sell felli which I think we should then bring in 3 10 million players?

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2013 19:30:48
Doumbia is going to be the big signing. Expect it will only be a couple of days after his last game for Moscow on the 15th July!

Agree1 Disagree0

Agreed we should wait, but maybe the vultures are trying to take advantage of our situation knowing we can't really afford for Fellaini to leave on deadline day, when RM needs to see his full budget to properly build his team around hopefully a £15m forward

Agree0 Disagree0

Negrado or moses I reckon any of them 2 as bk would say watch this space. ed what you think? {Ed025's Note - both good players, but so is kone..

Agree0 Disagree0

Peter crouch is big. oops did I miss the point.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2013 15:43:24
Anything true on doumbia ed? {Ed025's Note - i cant see it oscar..

Believable2 Unbelievable7

06 Jul 2013 16:06:39
From a very good source. This is 100% true!

Agree1 Disagree0

100% we can't afford him

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2013 15:21:57
There's a very good chance that we will not sell anybody this transfer window, even players that the club do not necessarily want; such as Heitinga.

Believable3 Unbelievable12

06 Jul 2013 19:40:46
heitinga should be sold. I don't think he's heart is at everton, what do you think ed. {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2013 14:25:12
Snodgrass?

Believable1 Unbelievable16

Small time player suited to a small time club, not for us.

Agree1 Disagree0

Doubt it

Agree1 Disagree1

Does not add anything we should only be buying players to add to what we got in other words if they don't improve our first team what's the point

Agree0 Disagree1

I like him and I think he would make a great addition. At the right price

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jul 2013 03:06:18
Don't rate him I mean can use both feet but I hear people say he is a freekick specialist and he is great at them but I haven't seen anything to prove that

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2013 14:03:47
PSG, have made an enquiry about big tops release fee, would rather he goes to france than epl club.

Heard from a very good source that baines to hand in a transfer request. I really hope their wrong. I would sell anyone to keep baines.

Sinno24

Believable11 Unbelievable16

Don't know anything about it but I think that Baines will follow Moyes up the Lancs. I think all this "he loves Everton" is rubbish. He's 28 if he doesn't make a move now he'll never get one. let's be brutally honest he has a chance to win things at Man U, champions league 90 thousand a week stadium higher wages and the list goes on, Why wouldn't he want to go. An forr the record he is a red not a blue. I know his sister (Carla) and they are all reds. If he wants to go h*** him let him and we'll get someone else in. Nobody is bigger than the club. Bigger and better than Baines have come and gone. That being said I would love him to stay but just can't see it.

Agree0 Disagree1

We're used to losing our best at some point. Baines will be a sad loss if it happens. Great player.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree lads, best left back I've seen at everton. If he gets opportunity to go to the mancs then u can't turn it down. However I hope he doesn't force the move.

Sinno24

Agree0 Disagree0

Best if he does request a tranfer, he loses his right to any pay off if he does request a transfer so IF he was to go I hope he requests a transfer, we need all the pennies we can pinch.

Agree0 Disagree0

My uncle who lives in Moscow is convinced the toffees are closing in on the striker doumbia! Would cost 15million!

Kone passed his medical this morning, just doing international paperwork and will be signed tomorrow along with Alcaraz. After the first week Martinez will look closely at what he needs Johnfreeblue

Believable8 Unbelievable10

It's always tomorrow when it's on sky then we know its true other sources of media are false and stories plucked out of the sky

Agree0 Disagree0

How do you know this. Is everyone just posting that Kone has passed a medical and will sign (insert day) in the hope that they'll get lucky and it'll happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2013 15:05:15
Have faith Kone will be an everton player by Monday trust!

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually paddock he has had his medical

Agree0 Disagree0

If he's had a medical and passed it why are the club not announcing it? Usually once a medical is done all the paperwork is already in place and the transfer announced upon succesfull medical

Agree0 Disagree0

Guys. oh what dreams we had towards the end of last season. big names and big players were heading to the blues and then suddenly we are scrambling around for players and pinning our hopes on a player that was with a team that got relegated or some reserve team footballer that just happens to play in Spain so of course he will be fantastic. not come on where is your ambition blues. Big Jay

Agree1 Disagree1

We have plenty of ambition mate, but we don't have the dough to back it up. We're absolutely skint champ so we have to make do with what we have. Anybody who thinks/thought we would sign someone "big" is seriously mistaken. We don't have a pot to piss in and any extra money we get will be swallowed up on the interest we are paying on our debts. So alls we can do is get behind Martinez and trust him to do the best he can on the limited resources he has available. Just because we have a new manager doesn't change the fact that we're brassic. If Moyes was still here we would accept that we were going to scramble about as per norm, we shouldn't expect anything else from Martinez. I'm sure he has a list of players on his wish list but his hands will be tied to the financial constraints that go with managing Everton

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said last poster. We are a top six club, don't like to complain but these are second rate signings.

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair, we're that starved of signing new players, anyone who signs and wears the kit will be lapped up and appreciated by the fans. Sad state of affairs but horribly true. That being said I think Kone and Alcaraz will both do well for us. I have a feeling yjay Alcaraz is going to be an absolute gem.

Agree0 Disagree0

We're a top 6 club based on the last 10 years. we won't be going forward. That assistant that Martinez has bought in saying it will be challenging to change our style of play. already ringing alarm bells. we play good football, scored some great goals so why do we need to over haul the style of play. I am still trying to get someone to answer what is this amazing style of play that Martinez teams play? Bloke has struggled with relegating for years and got relegated last year so what's so great about that?

hi ed
been away on holiday for 2 weeks so not been up to date with much. any developments on players and any more rumours that could have legs would be appreciated by ed or any of the other blues. also just seen the new kit, which I don't mind. what's other opinions. sorry its probably been discussed already but as I said been away. and also will baines stay?

1878barlow {Ed025's Note - i think he will stay mate..

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Ed you said Moyes would stay? {Ed025's Note - i did mate, just shows you, even the elite get it wrong at times.. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Bumped into Baines in Manchester last night watching Miles Kane said he's undecided about going!

Agree0 Disagree0

Elite? come on ed you been sitting in the sun too much ha ha enjoy it where it lasts. {Ed025's Note - i elite anything mate...

Agree0 Disagree0

He will be going, we will have to accept it.

L4 4EL

Agree0 Disagree0

Baines won't leave, guarantee that right now.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's said he's happy and that he'll only got if we need the money and Kenwright said we don't have to sell. Baines will be staying

Agree0 Disagree0

He will go, who wouldn't! Especially with hombert in charge now

if arsene wenger wants fellaini and is willing to throw ramsey into the deal then i'd personally do business, 23 million and ramsey sounds about right, the lad keeps the ball well but has never fulfilled his potential due to injury and game time but maybe martinez could make him a good player {Ed025's Note - arsene would want felli for about £10m plus ramsey baru..

Believable2 Unbelievable7

So what your saying is ramsay is valued at 1million have a day off will you

Agree0 Disagree0

So what we get another injury prone player on the books taking wages every week and unable to play!!! Big Jay

Agree0 Disagree0

They were talking 17 plus Ramsey yesterday but I would guess it would be closer to the 10 mil plus him that's quoted above. Wenger is a door hinge and I'm not sure he would want Ramsey gone to be honest. Decent player and English.

Agree1 Disagree0

Get all cash up front for Felli and allow Martinez to utilise the money to bring in a quality midfielder, I`m sorry Ramsey just is not of the calibre we need to be after if we are looking to improve on last year.

Agree0 Disagree0

PaddockBlue- Ramsey is Welsh

Agree0 Disagree0

We will not get Ramsey, especially not for a double figure price. If we sell Fellaini it will be for cash, so we can get the right player, and not an unwanted player who is average and has never fulfilled his potential. Furthermore, it limits the scope of potential buyers who are looking to get a swap deal and slightly increases the chances of him staying

Agree0 Disagree1

All the gooners I know would drive Ramsey to GP. Overrated.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ramsey is one of the worst professional footballers I've ever seen his basic football skills like passing and decision making are awful. Would rather keep felli or get the whole amount to buy a player that Roberto wants.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2013 04:14:54
Ed is they anything strong of junior malanga? Heard loads of rumours {Ed025's Note - no ben, its the belgian factor mate, because we got felli and kevin, everytime one is available they seem to link us to them..

Believable8 Unbelievable3

Understandable, nice one ed

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2013 02:20:04
Ed do you think we'll sign deulofeu {Ed025's Note - its between us and spurs, i just hope the lure of the capital is not too much for him, he looks very good..

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Spurs fan here, I'm 90% certain he will sign for you guys? One of the main stipulations regarding his loan move is playing time! Which he probably wouldn't get with us!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope it comes off, although young, he can still do a job for us for this coming season.

Imagine a front 3 of Mirallas, Deulofeu and Kone. Would be a tantalising prospect, all capable of taking on defenders and using their pace. For once, we would finally possess a legimate counter attack threat something we have lacked under Moyes for some time.

Agree1 Disagree0

When bale goes he will

Agree0 Disagree0

As soon as bale goes your a top ten team and nothing more out first 11 is better than yours your a one trick pony bale is your team

Agree0 Disagree0

Hate loaning players with no chance of buying because you miss them the following season and they have to be replaced which costs money.
Torbay Toffee

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a mag, and he'd probably choose Everton because you are the bigger club between you and spurs, although they could offer more wages, he would get more first team football at everton anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

I can understand why there's no option to buy because he's class, its a shme that we are there to develop other teams players even if it is barca, i'd definitely take him keep steven p on his toes

Agree0 Disagree0

He would have a better chance breaking into the Everton team. Having said that, it will still be difficult for him to win the place of either Mirallas or Pienaar.
