I'm not having a go here Toffees.
But you're all raving about Stones.
Now I haven't seen that much of him admittedly, but what happened at Anfield?
Was it just a bad day at the office for him or what?

Too right ed. The kids the new bobby moore and that's saying summit

He's only 19 but plays well above his years and yes has made some mistakes but in his position that happens, he is showing signs already of a great player like today against the gooners. I have watched everton since six years old and now 40 and have to say we have a gem for the the future. COYB.

The only worrying thing with this is where does jags fit back in, I'm a huge fan of jags but have to say stones passing is a lot better which has been shown in our past six wins, RM has some thinking to do.

Having 3 very good centre backs allows us to rotate when necessary and rest the likes of Distin who will not last forever, Stones can also allow coleman a rest in the right back role when needed.

Wasn't he bought as a right back?
As said, it'll be interesting to see if he retains his place in the run-in.
Nice to see young players picked up from the lower leagues get their chance though.
I personally would also like to see Everton play European football next season, hopefully CL and not the curse that is the Europa League.

Cheers Juicer, I am not sure if Moyes bought Stones specifically as a right back but he does have a talent for spotting a good defender when he sees one (not all the time though) I am glad he did sign Stones though that's for sure.

Best ball playing centre half to grace Goodison since T.G. Jones IMO and that's accolade for one so young

I had to google TG Jones but its some high praise that. Bobby Moore as well.
Hmmm. Food for thought.
