Well the window is shut and that's it, enjoy the next few months as much as you can! Get to matches support the team! Remember the 90's? The club was in total disarray but we all still got stuck in and supported the team. As a club I would take these gys rnning it over those days. We have some exciting players who we can enjoy watching! COYB

Agree1 Disagree1

Spot on to both replies.

Agree1 Disagree1

Your hate for Kone is getting really boring change the record.

Agree1 Disagree1

Go watch someone else. RM is our manager, he sees something in KONE. I believe in him, give them time. you will be the first one here to sing his praises if he scored the winner against the reds . trust and faith

Agree1 Disagree2

RM knows Kone inside out and has sung his praises saying he is great player and at the top of his game - I'll take his opinion over yours

Agree0 Disagree4

Amazing, I assume you are the Purser at Everton and personally were involved in the negotations and perused the contracts?
No .? I thought not after a lot of laughter!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe we pay off some of our debts, look at stadium opportunities ( Stanley park? ) and recognise that this is the strongest squad for years. COYB

Agree3 Disagree1

Ffs give him à break, he's only played 1 full game and 3 sub appearances

What we need is Jela to get back in the goals, was unlucky with the header against Cardiff. Reckon he gets his first and we are off!

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny how no one moaning about his other signings but your all moaning about Kone, which says u have no faith in him or our manager! So which is it to be? Sort your heads out

Rich84

Agree0 Disagree0

Kone scored more than Jelavic and Anichebe for a relegated team so give him a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Even if we are paying dthere wages who cares its the tip of the iceberg of the day to day running of a premier league club, adebayor gets them wages combined and he may aswell be a steward so I wuddent worry yourself

Agree1 Disagree0

Felliani was crap when he first came to us so let's give Kone a chance early days yet IRMWT

Agree0 Disagree1

Felli was 19/20 when he came, Kone is 30 in 2 months. So it was easier to give Felli a chance.

However, I agree when you say give him a chance. But he won't have long, if he faults badly this season, that may be it.

so we should agree with you? the same biffy who posted about 20 of the same post saying baines definitely leaving this summer and when it happened you would be expecting apologies off people for their hate, well can we have some apologies for your utter lies about being in the know?

Hi ed jacktheblue here has barry signed a loan deal with an option to buy? {Ed025's Note - no jack, but his contract runs out at the end of the season and he becomes a free agent mate..

My mate who is a City fan through and through for 20 odd years is gutted about Barry leaving. Reckons he is so important to the tempo of the teams play as well as breaking up the play. Pleased we have him, won the league only a season ago!

Am I the only one who hinks we've been stitched up again? 27.5m for felli 4m for victor that's 31.5m in.
Mcarthy 13-15m
then lukaka loan and barry loan
Gezza loan
rubles 2m
kone 6m

That in my reckoning is approx 28m plus loan fees and wages. Even if that accounts for most of or slightly more than the 31.5m coming in for sales, where is the TV money and the supposed transfer money bill said we had. Three loan players who at least two of will leave at the end of the season and the loss of one of our best players.
I personally think we've been had of again, loan deals paper over the cracks and don't provide any stability for us moving forward. While moneys being pocketed again. {Ed025's Note - we have not received any tv money yet!.

Believable12 Unbelievable23

Some people are never happy!

Agree5 Disagree2

25% of the overall sky/Bt package goes directly(equally divided)to the clubs, paid in bi-yearly installments, August and January.so we have received something as far as I know.then we get a per match payment(£575kper game last season) which has risen this year.all clubs are gaurenteed 10 games at least.overseas tv rights are also paid out, 18 mil per club last year.the new Tv deals should give
Us approx 35 mil extra tv income this season I believe.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes you are the only one. Happy.

Agree3 Disagree1

Mate the TV money has been borrowed against months ago. We have been had off by this club for years. Thew real problem thoough is players wages, Gareth Barry 120k a week and he may bew o nthe bench when Gibson is fit.

Agree1 Disagree0

Some people want to spend every penny as soon as it's received . others have plans for the future . its called LONG TERM PLANNING . the future is bright, ask RM

Agree1 Disagree1

We don't have to spend money for the sake of it, we've done shrewd business .but will feel abit kidded if the next transfer window we say there's no money .everton statements have always indicated we never had to sell and we had 20 million for transfers, .u don't need to sell for wages and agent fees .that will all be part of the transfer budget .so we should have over 30 mill and 100 grand in wages off Felliani and victor .everton have made an issue of saying the mc carthy money was already there .

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a happy blue, I think Barry great addition, will really help Barkley and McCarthy. Plus how many players u want to bring in? Look how it worked for QPR or how Sunderland have started this season. COYB

Agree1 Disagree1

Ur not taking into account lian fees, extra wages, money also may have been put aside for bainseys new contract!

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry I didn't add my name its robbi, I get all this but the long term planning comment give me a break, I for one don't think we'll have a penny to spend come january and how can you say three One year loan deals are long term planning. I think some fans have short term views oin a lot of things! The same people call felli the best player in the world one week then rubbish the next!
And why go spend £100k a week salary on a loanee makes no sense unless he was a class act! which he isnt, he's good but ccertainkly not that good.

robbi

Agree0 Disagree0

Any money will be invested back into the club and don't forget the jan transfer window. You can't please some people so let's just crack on with the new look squad and let's get in the top four.

Agree0 Disagree0

My god, some of you you people are clueless, do you spend all your income on payday!Thats not how business works. Its doubtful that we get feli money in one hit anyway, and also the club needs à cashflow, this will put us financially in a much stronger position come January
Why can't you be happy with à very good transfer window, the squat is much stronger now than before

Agree1 Disagree0

The fella on tv news stated that the Everton representative said that a bid on James McCarthy was not dependent on Fellaini sale.but the bid was £12m spread over 4 year? Who does that sort of bid in modern football. next Bill will be taking a mortgage to buy our next signing over 35 year! Saying that our last minute signing has made us stronger! {Ed025's Note - no one pays up front mate, the bale deal is apparently £20m down! and the rest in instalments!, its just the way it is mate..

Agree0 Disagree1

Thought city would be paying a large percentage of barry's wages? who has confirmed we are paying gazza bazza 100k a week?

Agree0 Disagree0

I doubt we are paying barry 100k p/w, more like 50/50 with city

Agree0 Disagree0

How is a loan deal long term planning? Quite simple, by taking a player on loan for a season you do not have a transfer fee, agents fee and all the other tax liabilities that go with a transfer.

So in this case we have taken 3 quality players on loan. If that money saved is used to pay off capital on our reported debt of £46 Million, say £10 or £15 million could be offset against that figure it would greatly reduce our yearly repayments (considering the interest repayments alone will be around £3.5 million per year at least without paying a penny of the capital back) That would go a long way towards getting the club financially stable for the long term without affecting the effectiveness of the squad now.

Chill everyone,! I am RM's biggest doubters but other than Kone happy with the deals done. We aren't a rice club and do have to watch the cashflow like any business. What is all this we're being had over?! We owe money and therefore some may have to paid off at certain times. Being had over was Johnson owning two clubs, giving ther manager £20m he didn't have so took it back and then selling players without the managers knowledge! That's being had over. Do you really believe BK would go through all this struggling as he is pocketing millions? Where did Fellis original fee when we bought him come from then? Pattern is the same one fairly big signing McCarthy then some loans to support that. Relax

Agree0 Disagree0

Most transfers are spread over 3 years, according to Christian Purslow or whatever his name is, so the proposed 4 year instalment deal for McCarthy wasn't as ridiculous peg leg was trying to make out.
Re the deal with the sky money- instalments, some paid August/September, more to follow in January.
Re interest payments- account for £7m per season, effectively cancelled out by our pitiful sponsorship deals (£4m Chang, £3m kitbag)
We're living a hand to mouth manner, and the wolves have been kept from the door for the foreseeable future with more sky money due, (although some of this has been borrowed against last season to pay down some debt, contributing to player wages etc).
I do think we've overpaid in loan players but just enjoy the lads whilst they're here and let the club worry about finances. Deulofeu could be with us another year and will be a big player given time and Lukaku could well provide us with the goals we've been desperately craving to make a legitimate claim for top 4.
We may have a few quid in the kitty for January, who knows, in the meantime get behind the lads on the pitch and show them we're the best fans on earth bar none
Granville. {Ed025's Note - good stuff that granville mate..

Agree1 Disagree0

Nice article Granville

Agree0 Disagree0

I think that you will find that there was a hefty sell on clause if he sold over the initial price paid so we may not have made as much as thought

Agree0 Disagree0

2million of the Felli money goes to Standard liege

love reading some stuff on here, but really fed up with the moaners ( biffy/etc) can't decide if they are all r3dsh1t3 or just not proper blues.

shut up whinging about Kone and get behind the team!, or do you want Bobby sent back to Wigan as well?

Agree0 Disagree0

Looking at the tv revenue, no wonder some clubs are richer than others. How many times have the reds been on tv already this season?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wish some of you would wake up!
We're only in £45m debt because Kenwright wanted to keep hold of the club. He's saddled us with the debt.
He has done okay in one window in the last 8 and everyone is saying get off his back!
What has he done for this club in terms of tangible improvents apart from the 2 big screens either end of the ground?

Bainesy to sign a new long term contract when he returns from international duty. RaytheToffee

As I said yesterday, he is 28 so make joint top earner with whoever that matches and make him deputy captain. He isn't your Ferguson style lead from from the front but just in his intensity, how he can carry an attack can fire up the rest of the team. His attitde and example also make him good enough for that role. He epitomises how we want our players to appraoch playing for us. Embed him further into the club, he has shown great respect and should be rewarded!

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't think of an Everton player who deserves a new contract more.

Agree1 Disagree0

I think this is more you hoping he will than knowing, he should be top earner he's are best player
