Everton are again watching Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe as they look to complete a loan deal for the Club Brugges midfielder in January with a view to a permanent £5m deal in the summer. Everton boss David Moyes is still considering offering a deal to trialist Thomas Hitzlsperger.

Since he nearly signed for us on deadline day, have been keeping an eye out on how he goes and how Club Brugge are going. Must admit, although I haven't seen a lot of the lead, saw a couple of his Europa and one league game, and he has impressed me. Seems like the lad we need really, has a very good engine and although described as a defensive midfielder, for me he is more than that, going forward he doesn't get enough credit, in the one league game I watched scored a peach of a goal, really do hope we go after him in January, for me, the perfect partner to sit alongside Gibson in midfield.
