Hi Ed this is really bad new about Y B and wish him all the best in a speedy recovery, but some outlets are now saying saying we could be looking to sign up to eight players in the January window if this is true, this has got to be a record surely, GuernseyBlue.

This happened quite a few years ago now, we didn't bring in 8 players we brought in a little man from Bolton, Peter Reid and he motivated those around him very quickly, is there another Reidy out there?

I'm with you Billy gueye is close so far. Sadly I have to say I don't enjoy watching Mori he looks like a liability to me. With jagz seemingly loosing a half inch of pace his tackling timing has cost us badly. We need another established centre back. Holgate is the future he looks like a cool customer i'd have him in before mori anyday.

I would prefer us not to buy a CB until the end of the season put Holgate in with Williams and use Jags and Mori as backup if needed. Buying in Jan at inflated prices not necessarily getting the player you want just for the sake of it is not good business. However is RK and SW can get the targets they want at the price they want then I won't complain. I think we need backup RB CM CAM RM/ W or LM/ W and an additional CF, as a priority, don't think we will get all that though.

Agree talla mate mori is an accident waiting to happen have holgate in team ahead of him jags looks like he is going to be third choice defender from know on we should move for sule the German lad think fonte is really good defender but how many 30 plus defenders do we need in are team.

. a little harsh on Mori me thinks. put in some fantastic last ditch challenges one of which had a goal written all over it. was dealing with Ibra b4 Stek went awol. ok a little raw but still a little young for a centre half. give the lad time n a run on the team . he has deserved his chance and gives heart n soul n a threat in the opp's box. Holgate class act by the way.

I agree Smithm8. Mori does put my heart in my mouth probably more than any other player. I am waiting for him to make a mistake but incident until proven guilty comes to mind. He deserves a proper chance. If he does a major cabbage up then we have Holgate and Jags waiting in the wings. Decent back up that is.

Your right Ed but wouldn't you have put Either of them on the left yesterday and not Cleverly?

{Ed001's Note - personally not Delofeu, he is a problem and Lennon is a sulky bugger who only bothers when he feels like it. Having said that Cleverley is crap so probably better with either of the others!}

Do you think he still finding his way and doesn't know his best 11, if he is then it's going to be a long season. Good 2nd half yesterday Holgate done well shame for Coleman.

Id say he knows the team better than we think already. Its the inconsistent performances from individual players that let's us down. let's be honest there's a lot of them that are under performing.

Wether they are finding it difficult to adopt to a higher tempo game or just are not capable of doing so i think rk patience will soon run out and the transfer windows will be used to find players more suited to his style/ tactics.

He had a good pre-season Ed, so what's gone wrong, he's not been given a chance so far.

Woodsey with all due respect pal maybe that's why barkley geri have been dropped. Not like we can drop lukaka or he would more than likely be benched aswell.
Maybe i'm wrong and just imagined all season that rk wants players to play with more energy and press from the front.
My point being that a lot of players are not for whatever reason doing it.

Geri is a cameo player. His only impact games in a long time have been as a sub. doesn't work hard enough and i am sick and tired of the screams every time he is tackled.

Ross needs to work harder, put an occasional tackle in and bring his shooting boots. Does all his work in the centre of the field and has offered little in attack. Not the talent we built him up to be

Lukaku is a good player but nowhere near as good as he (and his agent) think he is. He has a poor attitude to teamwork and spends more energy pointing to where he wanted the ball than chasing it - given his own first touch and some of the passes he plays that is laughable.

Lennon / Cleverley - just not good enough.

With Bolasie out is time to give Valencia a run alongside Lukaku. Least he can do his running for him and he looked lively on Sunday

But fingers crossed for January.

I did say that Geris attitude is questionable and was highlighted when he was out on loan at Sevilla. You can see by how poor his stamina is that he doesn't train hard enough and for a professional athlete it is atrocious.
Its a shame really because if he focused and maybe corrected the issues, he has the foundations in place to be a great player.

My personal opinion is get shut of him as when he's on the pitch he needs carrying after 10 minutes and what we don't need is passengers, we already have a big one of them up top in Rom.

Get rid of players with bad attitudes: Geri, Lennon. Bring in Depay. How does that make sense? Schneiderlin could add to the team, though.
