The Independant saying as Man City has broken the finacial fair play rules they are open to legal challenges from other teams for their place in the C L even if they win the title. CSK Moscow are planning such legal action. If City get kicked out would that leave a place for Everton. thgfest

Believable5 Unbelievable7

{Ed025's Note - they would not dare to kick them out thg, Ffp is a load of tosh mate, believe me,,it's not happening..

Yep that's cause UEFA are a shower of crooks ed make the rules but don't have the balls to enforce them something stinks badly in that organisation.

{Ed025's Note - tell me about it mate..

Not to mention the various backhanders some leading members have taken recently.
It's like George Orwell said, "all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others"

Bet if we got 4th spot but fell foul of FFP, we would of been hoofed out

FFP is load of bull if your going to crack down on it then they need to be ruthless from day one city are stinking rich and we all know where money gets you with fifa

Euefa have already stated that there will be no for offences against FFP. Personally I'm jealous of Man City for being able to go over by the amount they did.
If you've got it flaunt it, and good luck.

Hi ed I read somewhere that from next season the winners of the Europa league will win a place in the following seasons champions league, have you seen or heard anything on that? Thankyou

{Ed025's Note - yes si, i believe that is true mate..

Here's what I posted on 25th April:
"27 Apr 2014 22:52:30
Here's another bit of information. The winners of the 2014-2015 UEFA Champions League AND the winners of the 2014-2015 UEFA Europa league will each qualify for the 2015-2016 UEFA Champions League UNLESS they qualify for it anyway by virtue of their league position, which for England means finishing in the top four of the Premier League. If an English club wins either of these 2014-2015 European completions, BUT finishes outside the top four of the Premier League, then that club will take a fifth spot alongside the other four clubs. However - here's the wrinkle (!) - if English clubs win both 2014-2015 European competitions, BUT both clubs finish outside the top four of the Premier League, then those two clubs take the fourth and (extra) fifth spot and the club finishing fourth in the Premier League drops into the UEFA Europa League. England can only have a maximum of five clubs in the UEFA Champions League - and only get four normally: it's only winning a European competition that opens up a possibility of England getting an extra (fifth) spot.
Simples."

Seen interests of remy and bony frequently, how much do you reckon they would cost and the chance of us actually getting one of them?

Believable7 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - i have heard prices of £15m for boney, and £12m for remy, oscar, but i would expect these to increase depending on interest from other clubs mate..

I heard Remy has 12 million buy out clause, Arsenal, Bayern and Spurs all apparently looking at him, would want in excess of 100 k a week

Bony would probably cost close to 20 million, heard he is currently on 40k a week so if we stumped up the dosh and offered him 80 he would no doubt come, I would love him here, far better than Lukaku

Have heard that Everton have made enquiries about Remy from QPR. Also looking at McManaman from Wigan. Have you heard anything Ed?

Believable6 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - i believe the remy one is true tom, but the mcmanaman one is just the old wigan link i hope mate..
