£75 mil in new commercial revenue and the expectation of a 300% increase in shirt sponsorship revenue.

Should stop people moaning about our commercial performance.

The £80mil loan saves £5mil a year in expenditure.

The mayor pretty much confirmed we are close to getting a new stadium on the docks after mentioning the new train station.

Oh and Moshiri wants to sign more players than we do.

Only downside is the wife kicking off why I'm walking around with an erection when christmas is over!

{Ed025's Note - too much information john.. :)

Now that is a positive post. Having an erection is not a downside BlueJohnUns. The day you can't get one is! Tell the wife she has duties :-)

Bolasie out till 2018, stuff me. Now he is an asset that will be missed. Hopefully Mr Walsh and Mr Koeman already have irons in the fire.

{Ed025's Note - i certainly dont need convincing GB..

I was reading a piece from the AGM saying how in the last 6 weeks they have secured £75m in commercial revenue including a new shirt sponsor increasing on the previous deal by 300% which is impressive and really moving in the right direction plus a sleeve sponsor and sponsorship of finch farm! Just intrigued as to the terms all this revenue is over as the report i read is vague.

{Ed025's Note - its new investment ST and very welcome, expect things to become clearer in the next couple of weeks mate..

04 Jan 2017 21:24:40
So does that mean we can spend that sort of money because that's going to be part of our income.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i dont get all the FFP rules shakey, maybe sid or ED002 can clarify that mate

Bill has his knockers but he must get credit for finding/ convincing moshiri to jump on the blue roller coaster!
I really feel if us fans are realistic in our expectations and realise we will have set backs then we are going to be a very successful club.

Agreed paulybluenose. Plenty were giving BK stick for taking so long in finding someone to take over. Claiming he was letting on that he wanted to find the right person.

Seems he was spot on. If all these plans and promises fully materialise then it will be well worth the wait. It seems the future is even more brighter than I thought.

The 75m that has been acquired is probably over about 4 seasons, so although a vast improvement on the previous, I reckon it's probably still short of what the likes of Spurs and the reds are bringing in, but a good start for Moshiri none the less .

The new sponsorship is over 5 years. As for ffp rules a pl club cannot exceed losses of £105m over a 3 year period.

to secure a bigger sponsorship deal even though our final league position was worse than it was when we last signed the deal is quite impressive.
