Looks like Walsh's times up. Reports say Brands will be joining Everton once PSV have the title wrapped up. This should also signal the end of Walsh's bezzies time at the club too hopefully.

Well Walsh might well end up as head scout, why not? He would not necessarily get a pay reduction and he is well compensated.

For one its a vote of no confidence from the management team two its not really a sideways move and three DOF is what he wanted to do why go backwards staying at a club that has decided your not good enough for the role you want.

Do you know anything about story about brands and if true do you think Steve walsh will still be involved in scouting process. Thank you.

{Ed002's Note - Marcel Brands has been approached by Everton on a couple of occasions since before Christmas via third party. The expectation is that he will join and replace Walsh. I said before when we discussed that that I don’t se how Walsh could accept a demotion and stay - and I can’t see that changing.}

If he was to come in Ed, would you expect him to head the manager search if Allardyce is sacked or will Moshiri and the board already have their plan?

The reports I’ve seen are saying that he will join before the end of the month. This would seem sensible given that this summers World Cup could potentially hamper player signings etc.
