We are a bloody joke

Does this mean that money will be availiable in january then?

Brilliant! The new Scott Spencer! The initial fee will be very small or "nominal" as they say. He'll only ever cost £2mil if he becomes a first team player, that would be my guess at least. It's looking better than it was in the summer but we are still skint.

Agree0 Disagree0

They say that he could be the new Rooney or Gazza. Hopefully if he does flourish into a genuine talent, we will have been taken over by the time it happens. Otherwise the vultures will start gathering. Makes you wonder if he is that good, why the likes of the mancs and Chelsea have allowed us first shout. Is it so we can do all the donkey work of bringing him on, before one of them comes back in for him? (Wavertree Blue) {Ed025's Note - its not all bad wavo...we either get a great talent, or a load of dosh, its a good bit of business in my book mate!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Be lovely though to turn him into a talent and put him straight into a premiership challenging side......hopefully
one day. (Wavertree Blue) {Ed025's Note - that day will come wavo...mark my words

Agree0 Disagree0

If we have signed the kid as reported on sky sports news the lets let him go back to Bradford so he can play games, this happened to Scott Sinclair when he was 15 and Chelsea signed him from Bristol Rovers, it slowed his progression when they dont play games.

Agree0 Disagree0

Imagine we would keep him in our youth set up, unlike Chelsea, we actually utilise our youth set up, so he will have at the very least 2yrs with our youth coaches and teams and become accustomed to our set up, and if he really is supposed to be that good, he could have similar impact as Barkley has, maybe not as soon as Barkley though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes this is great, signing players to go into our youth academy.
It worked out really well for Arsenal..... Seriously though, if we spent that money to buy a 15 year old he must be pretty special and hopefully in two years he will be where Barkley is now

Agree0 Disagree0

We got him because his parents advised him that he would get more of a chance to get into our first team. this is something that d moyse has being doing for a while now. This can only be good for the long term future of everton. and £300,000 is a small gamble in todays market. This should not impact on our ability to spend money in january. well done to everyone at the club

Agree0 Disagree0

Spurs have come in for him and are going to offer more money upfront to Bradford, he is now considering his future.
