As I understand it. Barkley will go to Spurs in Jan. He's unhappy in life and wants to try a fresh start even though he's not 100% sure. It's nothing to do with Money for him. Shame but s#@t happens. I think he's a tortured soul personally.

I know Barkley does not have long left on his contract but that does not mean we should give him away
We talking Spurs here who are 100% mean and will drive a very hard bargain .
I would rather let his contract run down and see if a long run under a new manager and playing better bringing less stress as fans will get behind him rather than give him away now.
Nb he rarely hasn’t shown how talented he can be and if he cont to perform like that if playing for Spurs he will get just as much stick off them .
What do theses guys expect when getting paid mega bucks and not turning up when needed .
It’s understandable that working class guys and girls are going to be critical.

Keep him till the end of the season. If he performs and pushes us in to the Europa spots or fa cup then great. It would have been worth missing out on the 20 mill. If he goes and we get some injuries to our midfielders then we may regret it.

I guess interest from either club could remain - particularly Leicester. Newscastle and Arsenal have watched him this season but he is now very much out of favour. I am not aware of any approach by Everton alshough he is a player who was with Allardyce and Blackburn.}
