Oct 31: Everton Football Club chairman Bill Kenwright is reportedly in talks with Mumbai-based Jain Group about becoming the club's financial saviour.

The Jain Group has been pumping in cash for a new ground for the club.

According to the Daily Mirror, the company is also looking into ways of buying Everton or lending them money, with Kenwright kept on in some capacity and manager David Moyes given a boost in the process. (ANI)

What do u think ED {Ed001's Note - I never believe anything I read in a newspaper unless I can verify it, though everyone knows Bill is looking for investment for Everton.}

Expect plenty of this with the 1/2 season tickets on sale and the transfer window join

I work with loads of miserable sods,so it might make them laugh haha i think there kopites..

I believe theres interest but doubt it very much about it coming to fruition

Lets hope it's a takeover and not a 'backing' to Kenwright and his lying mates ! KENWRIGHT OUT !

It won't happen, trust me. Kenright couldn't give free chinese food to Ethiopians!!

Bulls**t the lot of it there is no one wants us and you have to wonder why. How much he wants as he wont tell anyone the price

I think Kenright probably treats these people to a free trip here and a meal, hotel, drinks, show in london etc just so he can use their name and say "he's in talks" to keep the fans at bay. all a load of complete sh#t. Things won't change at Everton for a long time.

Let's hope not. They are another venkyes group. They won't give us the money we need and they will just use us as an advertisement for there company
