From what I know, he's a right back who can cover cb and also play rwb. Although he hasn't played much for saints their fans seem to like him and ronnie obviously knows him well. Good squad player for me.

Yeh I agree that he is not a replacement for rom. However 15 goals and 7 assists in 24 last season makes him a huge amount better than kone. Plus, and I may be wrong here, but I thought be played off the striker similar to where ross played.

Ed025, a bit harsh on the big German! 1 in 2 record for Gladbach and 1 in 1.5 record for a very average Bremen side! I personally think Kruse is an excellent player, watched him a lot and he is a real presence and nuisance up top.

He is a good player, struggles a bit weight-wise, but I'd have him over Kone. Mind you, I'd have myself over Kone too and my only good finish is at an all you can eat buffet.

Hi Ed 025 I know we would be paying top dollar but i see another two sides today are all getting pre agreement deals sorted, I hope R K and the board are not going to dither over this summer, a lot of clubs are getting players in already, we really need to get this sorted with our early start in Europe and I really think this would a statement of intent from Mr Moshiri, GuernseyBlue.
{Ed025's Note - i totally agree GB and im sure the club are doing their best to get things done, unfortunately things are not always that simple and agents will play silly buggers to start a bidding war like what happened with payet, clubs were invited (including us) to a meeting where they all sat in a room and a bidding war took place on how much each club were prepared to pay, getting things sorted with rom and ross will also be hampering things as targets will change if they leave so we have to be patient mate and trust in the magi (koeman, walsh and moshiri) to do what they can, i know its not easy for supporters though..

Yes it not easy to get deals underway but if Liverpool and others can do it why can't we
What concerns me the most is our recent very poor history in the market regarding getting things done .
They have had some considerable time to I D targets well
prior to end of season .
As for Barclay and Lukaku if we don't know if they goi g or staying by now I will be seriously worried .
I realize EFC not told us what's going on but surely they must know and therefore be planning accordingly .
We all said a month ago we expected EFC. to show intent but I honestly don't think they know what the word means .
We really cannot afford to sit back as Guernsey Blue says with such a early start hoping Lukaku and Barclay change their minds and do we want Barclay in particular if he do undecided I think not.

Hi Trebor good post mate, i too agree Liverpool, Man City and a good few others are already tying up pre contract deals, i know the window does not open until July 1st but as I said with Europe looming let alone the new season we all know we need some big changes in the team, we have got to get our fingers out, in RK and Mr Moshiri we trust they like to keep their cards close to their chests but just a few snippets of where we are going regarding transfers cheers, GuernseyBlue.

Panic not guys. pre contract = pay over the odds or buy someone who nobody else wants.
We all made the same comments in January and then signed a couple of quality players.
Theres not a player that has been bought by a prem team so far that i would want to sign so plenty of time yet.

Guernsey Blue I am now reading we promised Lukaku he could leave in the summer if a certain criteria was met . Part of it should have been setting a deadline .
This could drag on till deadline day and we money but no time to get a replacement in . EFC should be saying if you want to sign him put your money up or shut up.
You can't run a business like that .
His agent should have been advised that any deal
had to be done by ( and given a date ) in my opinion.

We have a good enough squad to start Europa qualification we just need 3 or 4 quality signings and I am sure they will come however late in the window. we are in safe hands but it is hard to be patient when reports in the paper of pre contracts are taking the headlines.

Hi folks agree with all that above, I just hope this Rom thing is not going to go on and on throughout the summer, i say if we get a good and fair offer we should let him and any others go and get lads in that want to wear the shirt cheers lads, GuernseyBlue.
