James Wallace has signed a new one-year deal with Everton.



The midfielder, a product of the Toffees' academy, spent the end of last season on loan at Stockport.



He has one senior Everton appearance to his name, featuring in the Europa League two seasons ago.



Wallace, 19, impressed at Edgeley Park and was handed the captain's armband towards the end of his stint.



"I am delighted to sign a new deal at the Club, " Wallace told evertonfc.com. "I am made up it is sorted and I am just looking forward to pre-season."

Ruddy joined Norwich before the start of last season, and from what i can gather Turner is to join Preston on a free and Agard is also set to be released as his contract is up. Proper rumours are Klose on a free transfer, with Sturridge joining on loan for a season. Matt Jarvis to sign with Yak and Yobo both leaving. Bily will only leave if we get a fee of 5m+ for him. Personally i would swap him with Aiden McGeedy
