The other thing I've read is that we are just £4m apart in our valuations. Surely though, as he is under contract for a long time and we don't want to sell the price is anything we want it to be. £50m? Why not? We don't need to sell, it's their job to persuade us to, and £26m doesn't cut it

Only the red tops have put a price on Stones, no-one else. They are also the ones reporting that Mourinho has ruled out a third offer for Stones, whereas if you watch the interview he says no such thing. He says " It's over" but does that refer to his other statement about talking about other clubs players. It's a very ambiguous comment, take it as you will.

Ed have we got any money to spend I think it's getting ridiculous now, also maybe if we made a couple of decent signings it would give or players a lift and show a bit of ambition.

{Ed025's Note - not just the players stef, the supporters would get a lift as well mate, we do have money but we seem very reluctant to spend it..

Calm down, it's not as though all the other clubs are buying players right left and centre. What's the rush? It's the same every season panic, panic, panic.

There are things in motion in the background, they have been waiting to get money into club after 1st Aug rather than using bank loan/bridging loan on existIng debt. Sounds like responsible thing to do, unlike most things from the club! Ad long as we see fresh faces soon I'm not concerned. yet. Also talks about Van Dijk have been held irrespective of Stones

I was talking to Lee Carsleys hairdresser who was having a pint in scottie road, he said big dunc is coming out of retirement and taking the number nine jersey off Kone, the club to issue a statement shortly saying they will refund the one top they sold with Kones name on it, you heard anything on this Ed. :-)
