Just done my usual morning checking the tabloids and was delighted to see that Joleon Lescott is available on loan in january. We need cover there and if him and jags hit it off again I'll be happy.

Darren Bent I mentioned a few weeks ago and he is a distinct possibility now with option to buy I'd imagine. Even just on loan would be fine until Moyes finds the next gem in the summer.

Dzagoev, keep fantasising over this move (bit weird) but I'm still 90% sure he's free in January. He's brilliant.

Seb Corchia chat has gone quiet, watched him online a few times now and looks quality. He's similar to Baines going forward, gets plenty of shots off and has a great engine. 4m raising to 6 depending on Europe.

I don't know the ins and outs of the Everton business but from my, pretty simple, maths I conclude that wages are down from 2 years ago and we've raked in some cash from transfers as well so I think there may be more money available than the 0m - 3m we have all come to assume.

Next game will be like the Man U victory and get every1 going again. If not then lets look too the next and the next and......

Lescott is an interesting case, would certainly divide Evertonians, however, the fact that he is on 90K a week at City, that deal isn't going to happen unless City subsidise his wages, and with the likes of Spurs, Arsenal and some other clubs with more money, cant see it happening.

Darren Bent, I cant see Villa loaning him out, will most likely be sold in January and the rubbishe would be in prime position for him as well as Walcott

Dzagoev, as you said is a fantasy, would be an incredible signing, and I do believe his contract is up very soon, but I would imagine some clubs with CL footy and rich clubs will be very interested in his services, and offering him more in wages, so I find it hard to see him at Everton.

Just to let you know that Dzagoev is contracted until 31.12.2015.

Lescot would NOT be welcomed back. He brassed himself off to city and really disrupted our pre season preparation the other year. He's a good player and by all accounts a nice bloke as well but that shouldn't detract from the fact that Moyes took a massive gamble on a player who's career seemed to be over after a horrific injury, turned his career around and then pooed on us from a great height when the oil money came calling. Now, after only a few seasons he finds himself surplus to requirements. Well that's life Joleon, you made your bed now lie in it. You won't get any sympathy from me.
Moody Blue {Ed025's Note - water under the bridge for me moody..if he is available at a bargain price...i would take him back..

Agree0 Disagree0

I for one would love lescott back if Heitinga was sold and would love Darren bent but as villa spent 24 million on him I doubt they'd sell for less than 10mill which is still a massive loss for them and can't see dzagoev because f champs league clubs, haven't heard of the others

Sorry Ed025 but once you're outside the circle of trust you stay there in my eyes. I understand players come and players go but the way Lescott did it was totally underhand in my opinion.
Moody Blue {Ed025's Note - at the time mate..i was liviid!...but holding grudges just makes people bitter...and we would not want people to think that about us..would we :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one Ed025. There was a time when I really admired Lescott with the way he overcame adversity to become an established Everton player but he well and truly bit the hand that fed him. I can understand your point of view but just cannot agree with it I'm sorry.
Moody Blue {Ed025's Note - no probs moody..if we all agreed all the time, it would not be much of a banter site mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Cool, maybe we'll bump into each other at the Santa Dash on Sunday. I'll be the one with my name on the back of my Santa suit.
Moody Blue {Ed025's Note - if im well enough moody ill be there mate, i have my suit..and am hopeful of making it..

Agree0 Disagree0

No worries Ed025, if you're up to it then I'm sure you'll finish it. If not then get well soon.
Moody Blue {Ed025's Note - cheers moody..if it is possible mate..im there..

Agree0 Disagree0

Leon EFC, sorry if I hi jacked your post mate, what started off as a reply ended up as a full scale debate with Ed025. I never intended to take over your post and apologise if it ended up that way.

Are you guys serious? do you remembert he partnership of jags and lescott? and you all say he left so he wouldnt be welcomed? so your telling me you wouldnt accept wayne rooney? steven pienaar aswel? think about it

Agree0 Disagree0

You guys say that the lescott case was absolute disgust, but thats in the past and we should be focusing on which makes our club better, i hav ben saying to get lescott enquiry for weeks now, the partnership with jags is just great, we need a good defender used to the league, who better than an england international, who has a brillaint relationship with the cb we have now, and a player whose played in the champions league, and has experience from playing alongsie some of the worlds best! would snap there hand off

Agree0 Disagree0

I would take lescott back, Distin not getting any younger plus we could have 3 out 4 England defence. It just shows the likes of Fellaini the grass is not greener on the other side when pienar and lescott return. Rooney next ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Signed him, couldn't get him a work permit, and then sold him.
