I said this a long time ago on here. I would love this to be true.

Riquelme was spotted there numerous times apparently and he never signed for us!

{Ed002's Note - The transfer window only opened today - there is still time.}

Meaning. What does it matter if moshiri been spotted at jla. He could be flying home to London.

If Usmanov does come in - and I hope he does - we better get some life insurance in place. doesn't look too healthy to me.

i think it's only a matter of time for usmanov to join / takeover us.

It was the last Friday of the month, he'd been to Finch Farm with big Yuri to collect the rent.

Del boy has officially gone back to barce. part of me would have loved to see him stay. If he reaches his potential he could be a top player. However, for a long time he hasn't been able to last 90 minutes which makes me think he isn't working as hard as he could in training.

Good luck to him though.

Agreed Cropper. I just don't think the Prem is for him. I don't doubt that he will thrive in Spain or Italy as the lad has bags of talent.

I think the U21's touro showed he is okay in flashes but cannot sustain a 90 minute game as you need in the premier.
Personally I think he would be a bench player at Barcelona and although they cannot sell him for a year a Barcelona player will be worth much more than 10m euros in a years time.

Hi eds

Are efc interested in Luis Muriel from sampdoria?
I've just seen multiple stories staying the us and Seville are targeting him

Cheers eds.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - we are linked to him fanatic but how serious we are and how high he is on the list i dont know mate..

30 Jun 2017 18:33:23
Apparently there is a meeting booked to meet Sampdoria officials on Monday to see if we can thrash out a deal.

30 Jun 2017 19:02:33
Is he any good? Never heard of him before the link.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - not seen much of him either myself mate..

30 Jun 2017 20:05:47
His goal scoring record doesn't set the world alight, but he has decent pace and dribbling skills.

He is only 26, so still has time to improve. I don't agree with the 26 million price tag though. I would be more happy at 10m off that, especially given the fact that we have Sandro coming (hopefully) for 5.3 mill and they are similar in playing styles, but i rate Sandro much higher as a player.

Lads got pace, skill and can finish.
We need numbers and competition in the squad next season. We don't want to be picking up the scraps at the end of August. Could just be paper talk anyway, he must be the 30th striker we've been linked with this summer!

I think the tabloids have got it wrong. I heard "from a very good sauce" we're looking at Muriel from Halewood as the new tea lady at Finch Farm.

He reminds me of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with his youthful looks. Let's hope he becomes our baby face assassin!

Hi Ed 025 I see we are looking at another goalkeeper Sergio Rico for £3o mill, any info on this, and if so is this the end for our Robles and Stek, cheers GuernseyBlue, ps could be paper talk.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - nothing on him this end GB, and to be honest i cant see us spending £60m on goalkeepers mate..

Barca want Geri back. All terms agreed apparently. Not too disappointed. Good player just lacked consistency.

Clause activated so it's a done deal.
I agree Jeff - not a huge loss. Hope he does well, now on to bigger and better for the blues.

30 Jun 2017 16:17:45
Is it all done? I saw reports he didn't want to go back and sit on the bench in the World Cup year, so guessing he can still refuse?

30 Jun 2017 16:35:06
Read that too Southern but its also been mentioned that its certain to be a deal where he is immediately sold on for a profit. He only signed 2 year deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jun 2017 16:29:51
Thing is boys, they may not be buying him back to play for them but so they can sell him for but more profit. Dunno. Maybe ed2 knows what is going on.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - A loan is possible.}

30 Jun 2017 17:18:37
Good luck Geri definatly a gifted player but just couldn't cope with the pace of premier league.

Agree1 Disagree1

30 Jun 2017 17:34:52
I don't think they can sell him for 12 months and then he will only have 12 months on his contract so can't see them getting much more than the money they've paid for him.

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Jun 2017 16:54:06
It was well documented that if Barcelona bought him back, they would not be able to sell or loan him in the first season.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - The can sell him but a percentage of any profit would go to Everton.}

30 Jun 2017 17:47:12
Not convinced Barcelona would post it on their official site if they weren't confident of a deal. It states he'll be there until 2019.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jun 2017 17:48:36
Barcelona can not only NOT sell Geri within the first year, or loan him out, the details of the buyback clause mean he HAS to be a member of Barca's first team squad. This isn't rumour these are actual details from the agreement. Also he can't be forced back if he doeant agree terms, which are not yet agreed.

Another Barkley for me. On his day a great player. Unfortunately his day is less than often.

{Ed025's Note - could not agree more kingo..

30 Jun 2017 22:21:23
I'm sick of us Evertonians having to constantly use the word "potential. "
How long before potential's not realized will people accept that the player isn't going to get any better?
