Baines for Rooney straight swap with Nike paying a percentage of Rooney's wages!

Believable11 Unbelievable21

What 90%

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance

Agree0 Disagree0

And why would Nike shell out money unnecessarily for one of their highest profile stars to be at a less marketed clubs?

Toffee ace

Agree0 Disagree0

To keep him with a Nike endorsed team

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed why keep posting this rubbish that people R posting. I would understand if it was believable rumours but its a load of bull {Ed025's Note - because its a rumour site mate..

Read that Round, Woods, Lumsden, and Cooke from back room might all be following Moyes. If so, the. I guess we will be getting some compensation for them? {E d025's Note - dont bet on it mate..

Believable11 Unbelievable5

Even if we did, it wouldn't cover a reserve player's wages for a month. I've never heard of any big money changing hands for coaches

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd be happy to pay Utd to take Round off our hands to be honest.

If we sign McGeady, is he still serving a 6 match ban from the Russian league? Allegedly, at an away game, he struck a player, got sent off, rowed with supporters and then smashed up a dressing room. Charming. I don't know what's worse? Smashing up a dressing room, or someone leaving poo in Crystal Palace's. Sorry for lowering the tone.

Believable8 Unbelievable9

30 Jun 2013 17:35:48
According to Russian press, Martinez is / was after Aiden McGeady, only if he couldn't get his primary target of David Bentley?! How wide of the mark is that? Anyone know where that could have come from?

United thought to be coming back with another bid for Baines, rumoured to be 17M plus 3M in add ons. Dig around your pockets a little more, Moyes, you've got a better offer in there somewhere amongst all that spare change and uneaten Werthers originals.

Believable3 Unbelievable11

Id rather he kept his dirty ginger money and just f***** off, he's got left backs so no need to try steal our main asset

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't go from 12 to 17 with add ons any way

Agree0 Disagree0

That sort of price is a disgrace! Spurs would get double that. what can't we negotiate a sale properly? Just tell them he is not for sale, and even if he was they need to come back with a fee that starts at £30M min! He's got a contract, is the most talked about left back in the league, scores goals, takes free kicks and scores and is now a full International! £12M? they are taking the pi*s! If Cole went for £25M when he left Arsenal add £5M and start from there. goes from bad to worse at the moment doesn't it!.

Agree0 Disagree0

KEEP MR BAINES! The lad's still under contract. He loves Everton, we love him and that sort of relationship's priceless so personally I'd love to reject an offer of 30m for him and tell that ginger person to get stuffed. He jumped ship, doesn't mean that people who actually love the club and love playing for the club have to. I wished Mr Moyes all the best when he left for Utd but he's already acting like Sir Alex's dildo! I now would enjoy seeing him fail and getting sacked by the end of the season so fingers crossed! Mr Kenwright, if you know your football and you have the interests of Everton at heart and as you keep telling us you want what us Everton fans also want then KEEP Leighton Baines at all costs. It's the biggest no brainer in many a year and the biggest deal we could do this transfer window.

Dog Puke Peter

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree! Keep him!

I just get frustrated that we sell our best players and get poor money for them. with perhaps the exception of Lescott. We don't want to sell but in our financial position we have to accept we will be a selling club but get the right money for goodness sake. Clubs in Europe sell they big assets for big money and it moves the club forward, they invest in facilities and other players etc. If a bid of £30M was made for Baines I think we would have to consider it, but not for anything less! let's be more agreessive, if we don't have to sell which is what we keep hearing then put massive premiums on our best assets. i'm am still reeling from the managers appointment so please don't let the best players go for nothing.

I heard as of yesterday that no bid has been made for honda. What's holding us back Ed? {Ed025's Note - i wish i knew george..

Believable6 Unbelievable10

Apparently a 5m bid has been made, however there is a chance for Ac to bid as they CSKA do not want to sell the player until 15th July approx

Agree0 Disagree0

What's holding us back? 5 words. Bulls**t Bill and the Board!

Agree0 Disagree0

CSKA need Honda for the Russian cup, I think.

Agree0 Disagree0

Something called money, or to be precise the lack of it.

Looks increasingly likely he will be on his way to Milan, unfortunately. Shame really as I would have loved to have had him here.

No danger of Ross Barkley ever following Moyes to Utd. Heard Ross isn't a fan!!

Believable24 Unbelievable2

Shocking lol, given Moyes played him 4 games a season if he was lucky. Since Rooney Moyes seemed to have a chronic fear of losing our young talent.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think if Barkley would have played most of lst season he would have been has good has Rooney now John stoes impressed me yesterday

Moyes ain't a fan of barkley, nolike he had anyy last year so dosnt warrsnt a transfer

I'm hearing that we have signed someone, but didn't catch who it was. Any idea Ed? {Ed025's Note - no mate..

Believable3 Unbelievable13

Yes you are correct. We have signed Kone and it will be formally anounced early next week. Most probably tomorrow.

We will sign redmond kone and alceraz this week for a combined 8 mill. Johnny may leave for around 3. We will have lost 4 and gained 3. If felliani goes we will buy a good striker and if not a half decent one. I would bring in schwartzer as back up keeper till we can get va younger one. Baines will only go if he puts in a transfer request or the mancs come in with silly money.

Believable4 Unbelievable13

Schwarzer won't play backup keeper in a world cup year, and probably his last before retirement

Agree0 Disagree0

So where would we b loosing 4mil?

Agree0 Disagree0

I wish rumours of kone and alcaraz would go away. Terribly average players who add nothing to our squad. Quite sad really.

Agree0 Disagree0

Poster 2. Lost 4 player's not mill

You have not a clue, if felli goes we will sign a good stiker if not a half good one, means nothing, just assumption

Only 12 hours or so till Moyes is off our books.

The Baines story will only ramp up from tomorrow, I expect him (DM) on Camera in the next few days, saying about he only wants to bring more Championship trophies, and wanting the best players. He will come in at around 15 million for LB, plus maybe add on's.
For me LB will be holding a UTD shirt within 14 days. This will cover the majority of two to three players RM wants, However how do you replace LB. ??

He is gone already IMO.

Believable10 Unbelievable22

Clone him before he goes.

Agree0 Disagree0

Only Leighton can decide if he wants to go. The club will not be seen to accept anything. If BK has any sense he should offer him the best contract we can and make it t known how much we love him.

Agree0 Disagree0

I love the underlying theme with the selling of our best players. its inevitable and a paper has talked about it so. there you go. nothing to it apart from that and hasn't been anything to any of them since Lescott

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jun 2013 12:51:21

Agree0 Disagree0

Love it Keith

Agree0 Disagree0

Reckon Baines will stay as he didn't get on that well with Moyes I understand.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it just me or did none of the players get on with moyes. Past and present.

Agree0 Disagree0

I was outraged when the bid come now I can't help thinking he may want the league to fight for, annoying but true

Kenwright in talks with roonys agent, swap deal close {Ed025's Note - hmmm..

Believable8 Unbelievable26

Hi Ed, your "hmmm" reaction to this post would indicate that there may be some substance to it. Have you heard anything? (Wavertree Blue) {Ed025's Note - no wavo..its not happening mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Why wouldn't it happen lol? Rooney is a Everton support plus his sons support Everton. And colleen is a very keen Everton fans {Ed025's Note - 1 word mate...wages..

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard this too could happen. Stand up bill kenwright and take a bow.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he is on his way to PSG. Too much history between Rooney and DM for him to stay with UTD. (Wavertree Blue) {Ed025's Note - i think you may be right wavo..

Agree0 Disagree0

It won't happen

Agree0 Disagree0

Ummm wages all not allways the case Rooney will have to take a pay cut sooner or later because of his age I wish people stop keep on about the wages to me that crap

Agree0 Disagree0

Theses noway Rooney will go to London and he won't DEFINTELY go to city

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes I agree mate Rooney coming home. That's all Everton will do is a swap deal if Manchester United want Baines that's the only way they get him in a swap deal. Now on to Fellani. If Fellani goes we will sign fer Honda. And that 15 m striker plus kone Alcaraz. On free Mcmanaman Redmond. With the 15 m we have now if that was to happen I say we could finish in top 3 with Rooney and that 15 m striker. We been linked to

Agree0 Disagree0

This is te way I do it Rooney Baines swap deal sell heitinga. Fellani jelly gueye. Heitinga. With that money sign mcmanaman Redmond. Honda. Fer aubameyang. Then with the money we have no sign kone plus getting alcazar on a free with that side we easier make champions league becoz the fire power up

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't want Rooney back here. Most over-rated player in the history of football. I'd not swap him for Fellaini let alone Baines. {Ed025's Note - i think hes a great player..

Agree0 Disagree0

I would sign aubameyang

Agree0 Disagree0

Rooney is still a great player but if it came between taking him or keeping Baines, I would take Baines all day long. Baines was unbelievably influential last season. (Wavertree Blue)

Agree0 Disagree0

If it was me in rooneys shoes I would come back home to where I belong take a wage cut as I would be a multi millionaire anyway and have bonus add ons for champions league qualification.

Boney blue {Ed025's Note - if only mate..

ed. I wouldn't have that brat back at everton for a lifetimes free season tickets at goodison, Have you all got short memories. once a blue. the day that clown comes back to everton I will sadly support any one else in the premiere league except the other lot across the park. {Ed025's Note - i dont want him as a drinking buddy, and your right, he is a brat, but the guy can play football..

I don't usually post rumours on here of any frequency. But generally get rumours on good authority.
My boy is at the Academy and this is what I heard today.
Arouna Kone and Alcaraz will join the family next week.
Felli is waiting for Chelski to stump up
And WE are waiting for 18 big ones before Bainesy is given the option to stay or go.

That's all I have to say about that.

Dave M

Believable21 Unbelievable10

Like the first team, the youth are not anywhere near the club, so no one knows anything yet, plus that information is not passed on to youth players. I know this because iv had a relative in youth academy, and pumped him for info on many a occasion!

Agree0 Disagree0

My labrador could have told you that.

Agree0 Disagree0

The information didn't come to him, he's 8 years old for Gods sake!
It's what I heard from the staff and other parents at the Academy.

Have you put your Labrador on BGT, or Ester Rantzen. Some dog that!

what is it with the media and wanting to report s*** about our players wishes!bainsey is happy and certainly not pushing for a move! fact has it known here in kirkby he doesn't think that much of the ginger rat and his tactics anyhow and wasnt too much set on him as a person either!the extension to his deal will see him finish his career as a servant to everton will be signed happily by leighton and the only thing standing in the way of this would be everton themselves. as long as he, s wanted he, s staying!

Believable22 Unbelievable4

I would say i'm happy to if I got a big loyalty bonus when I left, I hope he stays but a chance to win things just up road maybe to much of a pull

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes has done great things for this club and you should show him some respect. {Ed025's Note - respect has to be earned...he will lose any he did have if he comes after our crown jewels..

Agree0 Disagree0

Trust me, bainesy loves the blues!alls he's ever wanted to do is grant his legend of a grandad (the late dixie baines) wishes of him going on to play for the blues, come true!england is a bonus for bainesy! he's financially happy with a proper family surrounding and his grandad wouldn't of had it any other way!

Agree0 Disagree0

The press have had it in for Everton for a long while, I have friends who work for local rag who like to slate us who has told me that their sports reporters have had their nose put as under Moyes he would not speak to them unless he had to and restricted access to the players allowing only certain senior players to speak to them at certain times therefore they had to write stories about Everton and with little contact from the club they jump at any rumour going. Hopefully with Alan Myers back we will build relationships with the press and the toxic stories will reduce. plus Baines scouse lad born and bred who is bringing up a young family in the area therefor I do not think he would risk the wrath of the fans and daily abuse they would get as he only a day before UTD`s bid stated how he`s looking forward to the new season with us. let's face it he`s made for life and I don't think he`s as money mad as most.

St. Domingos.com are reporting that we are closing in on Kone and are set to firm up our interest in Redmond in the coming days. They also say that Honda is set to sign for Milan and that Alcaraz is expected at pre-season training on Wednesday. This sound about right Ed? {Ed025's Note - honda is a toss up joe, alcaras and kone look possible, and redmond is trying to engineer a move to us..

Believable8 Unbelievable0

Reports in Italy are saying that Milan may not have enough time to beat Everton to him. It said something about they need to sell someone before they get him for some rule in Italy or something, can't exactly remember

TC

Agree0 Disagree0

They need to shift the likes of Robinho to simply free up funds, and also, I think they're unwilling to buy a top CAM, until they sell Kevin Prince Boateng for a good price.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 20:08:42
The deal for Soldado has stalled due to being dependent on Fellaini moving.

I assure you: there is interest in Soldado from us. There is also interest in Fellaini from Arsenal. They aren't hesitant over his fee, but rather, he will not agree to a contract until he knows how much Higuain is being paid.

Until Fellaini's move is sorted, the only players we will be signing will be less expensive ones. I don't know who we're interested in that falls under that bracket, however. Perhaps Redmond.

Ed, you seem pretty sure when you reply to rumours. Do you know people, or are you just summing up from rumours you read? {Ed025's Note - i get information from people within the club, and from other eds..
