everton to sign steven naismith on a free and that will be all for transfers as moyes will look to the youth to fit in next year -Barkley,Gueye,Francisco Junior(signed him in january) these are all good youths who have a lot of potential naismith propably going to be used as a winger as barkley will fill the role playing just behind jelavic
Gianefc

Believable17 Unbelievable23

Pienaar is also a must

Agree1 Disagree0

On the wing? Are u deluded? He plays in the Cahill role just behind jelavic hence the whole point in us signing him to be linked up with his striker partner once again,

Westy

Agree0 Disagree1

Also that won't be all in the transfers regarding Everton,I expect 1 or 2 to leave, pienaar in and another couple in too.naismith will not be the only one coming in mate,IMO

The SSN transfer clockwatch is claiming that LA Galaxy are making another attempt to sign Lampard. I wonder if this has any relevance to the rumours around Donovan? I know they are limited on the number of marquee players, outside the wage cap, that they can have.

Been told that Naismith is a done deal and that he's had his picture with the shirt but Everton have not announced it yet to sort out some legal issues.

Gary

Believable17 Unbelievable15

There are rumours going around that stoke have offered Naismith a better package than Everton and the deal is far from sealed. mike

Agree0 Disagree0

What legal issues?

Agree0 Disagree0

1) Does it matter what legal issues mate? If you need to know, Everton are making sure that there is no chance of legal action should they sign Naismith.
2) I haven't heard this rumour Mike, where've you got it from?

Any truth to the rumours of a bid for Peter Whittingham ?

Believable8 Unbelievable26

Hope not, he's a good player but would never get a game for us would be unfair on him

Agree0 Disagree0

Most of us thought that when Cahill arrived, wrong again. IMWT

Everton are close to the signing of Danijel Pranjic and have asked Bayern Munich about the availabilty of Anatoliy Tymoshchuk

Believable33 Unbelievable8

Can't see the Tymochchuk one to be honest. He's well into his 30's now (I think?) and central midfield is one area we aren't short withe Felli, Rodwell, Osman, Barkely, Cahill, Gibson.
If anything i think this is were we may offload someone, most likely Cahill IMO.

Lee

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope this is true as he is a good player

Are we really interested in naismith. if so why do we take so long to sign him when other rangers players have moved to other clubs already.

Andy

Believable21 Unbelievable7

Because we are Everton and we never do anything without a palaver first. Thats why we often get pipped at the post for players. Its been this way ever since dear old Harry Catterick retired, now there was a man who new how to complete a transfer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Because 9 teams are talking to him and he has options

Agree1 Disagree0

Its the Everton way, its tradition

Been hearing a lot of stuff lately, and it sounds pretty obvious that it is out of our hands now, just between BK and ferguson to agree a fee for Bainsey, but apparently Bertrand is Moyes' ideal replacement for Baines with maybe a double deal for Bertrand and Sturridge in the region of £20-25million
EtidAaron

Believable7 Unbelievable28

We don't need Bertrand we've got Garbett IF baines leaves

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't want Baines to leave but if he did that wouldn't be the worst bit of business done this summer.

Hi guys,
just finished work at LJLA. Where I spoke to to Davy Weir on his way to Jersey, I asked him if Bainsey or Fellaini were going. He said Noone is going anywhere, unless someone comes in with silly money, or they ask to leave.

This should put it to bed now, if Fellaini and Bainsey want to stay they are not leaving us

Believable26 Unbelievable7

People who work at the club don't tell u anything. I've learnt that in the past

Norwich have signed Whittaker! So Naismith should beable to sign for someone then? Hopefully us!

Believable12 Unbelievable17

Is Naismith that good? All respect for the SPL but we should aim for better. Jelavic is a type that worked got with our style of playin but I dont think Naismith will fit in. [AO]

Everton have been in contact with Daniel Sturidge and are set to launch a 15m bid within the the upcoming days for the young startlet. David Moyes has been watching the ace in many games and is said to be interested in making the prospect his first key summer signiture. Daniel, U21 of England, is keen to move to The Peoples Club after visiting the multi-million pound training complex of Finch Farm last month. Watch this space, you heard it here first #donedeal. Also on the agenda is the swoop of Mandzukic, everton are prepared to hijack Bayern Munich's epic bid and add him to their squad to link up with fellow Croatian Nikica Jelavic, who last week said 'Mario is a good freind of mine and ive been speaking to him about Everton Fc in a positive light' ... I have heard from a source of firm reliability that a hijack move is gooden #exitingforusblues

Believable6 Unbelievable34

He has already signed for Bayern. Do abit of research before posting

Agree1 Disagree1

Love it to be true, but, fear it's time for the b/s meter !

Agree1 Disagree0

Mandzukic has signed with bayern. 0% chance that we are getting him. Which is a lot more the chance we are getting sturidge for 15M.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is a silly question! but were is the 15 million coming from, I , would like this to be true , but car,nt see it!..

Agree1 Disagree0

Pretty sure I saw him holding up a Bayern shirt lol and no way will we go for Sturridge.

Agree1 Disagree1

Decent player and has the potential to become a great player with the right team/tuition and I think Moyes would be the right man. but for £15million? Unless you're about to win the Euro Millions mate, it's highly unlikely.

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally I wouldnt use all the Baines money on a striker even though I like Sturidge. We should get him on a season loan. And forget Mandzukic - Bayern will regret they signed him instead of Dzeko. [AO]

Agree0 Disagree0

And that is Today's fairy story children, now little ted is going to see what time it is, through the round window!

Believable23 Unbelievable11

My mate's kid goes to school with Bainseys in formby and the move to utd is 100% happening in the next few days. Just agreeing the fee now. utd want to pay £14m. everton want neare £17m.

Believable8 Unbelievable29

Load of b****cks that. Won't go for less than 20m. Moyes would only accept 17 if a player was coming the other way too.

Agree0 Disagree0

So Bainsey discusses his footballing future at the school gates does he? Utter tripe!

Behind Blue Eyes

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah it's 100% happening when they haven't even agreed a fee.

Agree1 Disagree0

Baines will not go to unt, unless an offer over 25m is made. this suposed "big club" does not have the cash to make such an offer, givern that the have more pressing needs, both in attach and midfield. anyone who has to bring a 37 year old out of retirement has far bigger priority in midfield

Agree0 Disagree0

So is it 100% happening or have they not even agreed a fee yet. oh sorry it must be true if your mate's kid heard it from some kid related to leighton.

Agree1 Disagree0

Don't think bill is in any mood to talk to people right now, and I think other clubs would give him time to grieve the loss of his mother. *sniff sniff* yes that smell again!

EverTheOptimistic

Agree0 Disagree0

Baines doesn't HAVE children!

Agree1 Disagree1

I believe it will happen but hope it wont happen. However I would accept 17m (he is 27) and buy Pienaar, a left back and a striker. But we should go for 20+ [AO]

Agree1 Disagree0

So Baines' kid knows the ins and outs of his dad's career? How old must he be, 5 or 6 at the most? What a daft thing to say.

Agree1 Disagree0

Funny that wen he doesnt live in formby . think you find he lives in aughton . more red tripe

Agree1 Disagree0

Pretty sure he as 2 kids, I saw him in interview once but i dont think they are of school age, and this post is full of it.......

Agree0 Disagree1

For the guy who says Baines doesn't have kids. He does, his son is in the same class as my boss' sons. And the guy who said he doesn't live in formby. He does. I live in formby and he comes into my work most weeks. And lives next door to my friend. So get your facts right

Agree1 Disagree0

It was not baines kids who told this it was BAINES HIMSELF TO MY MATE! Trust me he does have kids, he does live in formby and he is going to utd for sometning betweem 14-17 million.

Agree0 Disagree0

He means he lives by george formby and he told him lol

i've heard from a mate of mine that if baines does leave for utd, ryan bertrand from chelsea could be a possible target.. he has bags of potential, british and will be a future star.

Believable7 Unbelievable15

So let him turn him into a England star then possibly sell him to lithe likes of man u again? No thanks keep bainsy

EVERTON boss David Moyes wants Celtic full-back Emilio Izaguirre to replace outbound Leighton Baines at Goodison Park. would cost about 7-8 mill to sign him if we do sell baines which can happen but no one knows

Believable9 Unbelievable20

"Izaguirre",had alook on you tube! as I did,nt know much about this guy, appears to be very attack minded, more like a wing back than a full back! he looks quick and skilful, comfortable running with the ball, and able put a cross. and to honest! looks very simular to baines. So if baines were to leave, then this guy loos like an ideal replacement!..

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jun 2012 07:51:37
baines going, sir alex ferguson sealing the deal before going south africa, looks like he's pushing us into selling him {Ed025's Note - he will only go if moyes wants him to..

Believable10 Unbelievable26

How can SAF being 'pushing us into selling him'? He's got nothing to do with the transfer policy of another club.

He can offer money, which Moyes/Bill will either accept or reject. {Ed025's Note - thats right mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

It's the Mirror that's reporting this and I'm struggling to understand why people are believing them. They're the same people who reported that Baines was going to United for 5 million

Agree1 Disagree0

You ve got to laugh at the Daily Manchester...If we sell Baines,we move on..we buy players from other clubs and they move on.
Its called the circle of life, the football food chain.
Good luck if he goes...
The King is dead..long life our next LB
COYB {Ed025's Note - very true my friend..

Agree1 Disagree0

I do fear that maybe it was part of the Gibson deal? 500k isn't much money for the player he appears to be. This, after Sunderland apparently offered £3M! IF (and it is a big if) he is being readied for a move to OT, surely his value is worth more than Lescott... BlueTone {Ed025's Note - i dont believe the gibson deal has anything to do with baines tone..

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely we cant sell baines for less than 20mil? we cant let the bigger clubs push us into deasl that we dont want to do, even if the two managers have a great relationship! We are a big club and thats proven by the interest of our players from other teams. You wouldnt see Rooney being sold by united for less than 40mil? so why, like rooney, sell one of our best players for less than we expect for a player of his standard.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not nice to say if everton need the cash and we all know who we are talking about they will sell i dont want any of are good players going this season we have a chance to move on i think if we get peanuts back get a good start to the season i know we havint had one for a long time but if we could hold on to what we have now it would be great.coyb
