Everton are looking into the possible signing of Arsenal's Abou Diaby to replace the loan signings that have been brought in along with a striker Eljero Elia from juventus to play alongside Jelavic with Jose Baxter going on-loan to Coventry City.

Believable13 Unbelievable30

Diaby is crap and why would he replace the loan signing hes a centre mid

Agree0 Disagree0

Elaine is a winger

Agree0 Disagree0

Elia would be a quality signing, he's very pacey

Agree1 Disagree1

Elia would be a boss signing, a proper winger with pace and skill, but to me, think he might be out of our price range

Everton are tracking a young player from udinese Maurico Isla ( defender )Which could be a possible long term replacement for both Neville and Hibbert.

Believable14 Unbelievable2

Heard Moyes was looking at Steve Davis from Rangers, excellent player and with their problems wouldn't break the bank

Agree0 Disagree0

Keep hearing about replacements for phil and hibbo but isn't coleman a right back? lets bring him on the possibility of two attacking full backs is something to look forward to......grbefc {Ed024's Note - Coleman at rb is a distinct possibility, i like the lad

Agree1 Disagree0

Coleman would be a liability at full back 3 or4 penalties a season {Ed025's Note - hes only young, and still learning his trade..

Moyes should really consider looking at Joe Lewis from Peterborough, quality and just been released due to financial reasons...

I heard recently from good sources who work at the everton stadium that a deal is almost insite as regards to Diame from wigan and dempsey from fulham

Believable33 Unbelievable8

Is it anything to do with Peel Holdings, I read that on another site?

Agree0 Disagree0

Those 2 and Pienaar and it would be a top class summer for me (with no outs of course). But for me, Pienaar has to be priority over Dempsey.

The first thing when the season is done is to get Pienaar

If a fee isn't already agreed for Peanuts then we are in for a long battle to get him in the summer. Reason will be because Levy is a tight get and Hawwy is sneaky. They will also be worried the deal will make us stronger than them next season especially if they lose one or two of their top players.

I'm bracing myself for this one not being sorted til mid August, and don't be surprised if the fee is undisclosed as this will mean we settled for a lot higher than BK would like to admit.

Sorry it's a bit negative.

But on a positive we can look forward to 9 from 9 over the next 2 weeks COYB

We're definitiely going to get screwed over on pienaar by redknapp - he only wanted him in the first place to wreck our side - he knows we're flying now and will be a direct threat to them next seaon - it'll only work if pienaar more of less refuses to do anything but come to us - to strengthen our hand - otherwise they've got us over a barrel

the potential buy fee should have been agreed in January - I think if it wasn't those at the top have blundered yet again

if fellaini does go, which i desperately hope he doesn't, i think steven n'zonzi from blackburn would be an appropriate replacement. similar style of player.

n'zonzi is not nearly as good as felli has been lately, but he has shown glimpses of brilliance in his time at blackburn. i'd say n'zonzi is at a similar level to fellaini when he first came to everton, a little rough around the edges and clumsy, but moyes has moulded him and he could do the same with n'zonzi.

if rovers go down he could come in on the cheap.

Just a thought!

Believable12 Unbelievable19

He has a new five year contract, unless it has a buy out number in the contract, everton would be mad to let him go at 22m.
