Hey Ed 025, reports coming out today Usmanov is prepared to put money into Everton to help his friend Mr Moshiri, sounds a bit promising to me mate, could be Christmas comes early for us Blues mate.

Good old Jim White this morning clarified this saying there is no truth in this rumour and that Moshiri is solely undertaking the Everton project!

As has ben said the political situayion with Russia means that nothing is likely to happen for a very long time, these are the words of Usamanof himself although the Clueless Moshiri needs help for sure.

Sky Sports News reports that Alisher Usmanov is again linked to Everton after comments made to Russia 1 (I think) . He is alleged to have said,

"Everton is still far from where it should be. We will also help him. And how. This is my friend's club. "

They are quite speculative about what the comments could possibly mean such as stadium investment, general investment or co ownership but until anything concrete happens it's nothing news. Maybe something is in the pipeline then?
