Was reading below about pan European league being a possibility. Now, many years ago there was a game on the speccy called soccer rivals and this had a pan European league at the top of its pyramid and worked ok. wonder whether it would work in this day and age.

Ed I think yarmolenko will use us as a fall back option if a champions league club doesn't come in for him ed do you know if we have any interest in Kiev defender aleksandar dragovic I think he would fit in premier league easily and he is really good defender plus he is two footed which would be a bonus and commanding in the air if we r interested what u think r chances of signing him.

{Ed002's Note - Dynamo Kyiv managed to persuade Yarmolenko not to move this past summer and managed to get him to sign a new contract. There has been interest over the past year from Roma, Spurs, Stoke, Fiorentina, Everton, Inter and Dortmund. Bayer Leverkusen, Valencia, Napoli and Manchester City all dropped their interest and PSG, who were considering Yarmolenko as a possible option to replace Lavezzi this past summer, seem to have done the same. Yarmolenko has expressed a desire to move to Barcelona or Chelsea - and there has been more than one approach made directly to the Chelsea to gauge their interest. Right now I would discount Barcelona. Whilst an approach was made to the agent of Yarmolenko by Arsenal in the summer, nothing could be done. He spent the summer screwing everyone around and there is still a lingering view he could do the same again. I don't know if anything can be done by Everton, Arsenal or even Barcelona, but Piero Ausilio was at a game to look again at him earlier in the year - so Inter might still be in the mix, but money will be an issue for them. Again, interest of Dortmund may remain. So for now everything is up in the air - but interest will begin to drop away if he again drags everything out. A representative of Prostar has been doing the rounds in Turkey and England recently regarding their charges - particularly two other players. I am not aware of anyone raising anything regarding Yarmolenko, but they may have done. Dynamo Kyiv will look to a very significant fee which could easily remove some of teh interested clubs who may not see value for money.

Schalke, Leicester City, West Ham and Hertha Berlin (who have a sustained interest) have looked at Dragovic recently but an offer from Leicester was rejected in January and I they are looking elsewhere. There has been previous interest in the two-footed player from Monaco, Manchester United, Roma, Arsenal and Inter, with Arsenal pressing his agent on a number of occasions - but that has all seemingly gone. Dinamo Kiev are keen to keep hold of Dragovoic but know that it may prove difficult. I understand that Dragovic might just be an option for Everton if Stones leaves but I also expect he will have options once formal offers are made.}

Too much messing about with Yarmalenko, personally I would keep a wide birth from the guy, within a season his agent would be looking to shift him on, he had his chance and his club and agent pissed about, now they seem to using Everton to try and attract the so called bigger clubs.

Just a thought. With Bobby being a nice guy what's to say certain senior players are not undermining him and trying to force his sacking? After all he doesn't step over the white line. I am not in anyway saying that I know this is happening but I just thought maybe all isn't well within the squad. There doesn't seem to be any togetherness at all and certainly no talking on the field so what's it like behind the scenes.

If he can't manage players then he, unfortunately, deserves to be sacked.

Man management, is one of the most important and most basic elements of the job, but the clueless one, is about as good at that, as he is tactically.

Ukraine winger and Liverpool target Andriy Yarmolenko, 26, will not be allowed to leave Dynamo Kiev for "clubs like Everton and Stoke City", says club president Ihor Surkis. (UNIAN, via Daily Star) .

{Ed025's Note - if we offer the most money he will, who the hell does that crank think he is?..

02 May 2016 14:50:33
To be honest I think we should steer clear of Yarmolenko and his agent. They just seem to be a nightmare.

Said it during the summer and said it last season, bringing this bloke in especially at the prices the Russians will wring out of us, is just not worth it. Mirallas will be a pussycat compared to this I believe disruptive influence.

I wonder if buying players from Russia is such a good idea. Billy, Niasse and Mcgeady have hardly made me think it's the place to go for top talent.

I know this guy seems different but maybe the EPL is a step to far for them on a regular basis.
