Not for me personally at the price being banged around, didn't impress in euros at all. Only have to look as far as Janurary to see our last adventure into the Russian football leagues players. For a bit more if press is to be believed, I would rather see us go for Carvahlo, looks good that kid, or even cheaper is schneiderlin, proven performer in PL and younger.
info gathered from ed02 if I remember right says we are not looking to Carvahlo, so that's just a fans wish list.
Also looks like schneiderlin is maybe a lower down the list option. So I personally hope we miss out on Witsel and get what might be our second target.
Then again is there interest from Everton for schneiderlin ed?

First time poster on the everton page. Not going to lie I'm Liverpool fan, however one of my best mates girlfriends father is the agent of John stones. Apparently according to my mate he's 100% going to city. Me and few other lads have stuck a lump on it. Wether you all know this I don't know but thought it was useful information for a bunch of toffs. Good luck in the new season. X.

I get the feeling that this story might have some legs and I will be surprised if he doesn't go. This is not sour grapes but depending on who we get in I hope I can relax a bit whilst at the game and not have my heart in my mouth most of the time.

It's in telegraph city to offer upto 50 million. I would take as much as we can get. That money would get great replacement and have enough left to strengthen the team.

How do you know this NickS and some major photoshopping must have been done unless the pictures feature him in his Everton kit. End of the day he is still an Everton player until we accept a bid and allow him to leave. I am not naive and think that he may not leave alls I am saying is that if he leaves it will be on our terms and for what we want. Only time will tell.

I think there is little point in keeping a player who clearly wants to move on. If the Wales v Belgium game showed anything it's that you need everyone pulling in the same direction.
