Pretty sure he will only sell once the cover is in with gibbo bein out 4 a month

To be fair, not looked bad when he has played. Worth keeping until the end of the season!

Sturridge is worth 5 million tops.

We didn't buy him, so why does it matter ?

I think at the start of the season the talk was 6M for him,

never mind with just sturridge up front next season they'll be srcewed, goofy won't be staying after they finish 6th

chris eagles poss on way but I dont know much about him position etc tp ..

He's a winger, left or right, or can play in the hole behind a striker currently playing for Bolton. When on form he's good from what I've seen but he doesn't have very many of them and just drifts through games.

No chance not for EFC.

what do you all reckon about james mccarthy from wigan.. i personally think hes quality and would be an ideal fit into our team instead of neville, he's past it now...

Neville is not past it he bossed our midfield tonight against Newcastle he's a leader and top pro / player ! {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Neville was top class tonight and is a player that greatly benefits our team. We need his experience and knowledge of the game. He is not passed it yet mate. McCarthy is a good player but I would prefer to keep felli and get holtby in the summer or this window if someone decides to give us a few quid.

When watching Wigan, it has been Maloney who has impressed me more than McCarthy

Defo one for the Summer, but Wigan will not let him go in January

McCarthy is half decent. Would b a squad player at best

Hoarau on his way to England to held talks with an unnamed club. Is it Everton Ed ? ToffeeKev {Ed001's Note - only club I know of that made an inquiry was Liverpool. There is a lot of interest in him, so I am just trying to find out which one has stepped it up now.}

Could be us liverpool or Sunderland

Hope the reds have sturridge wrapped up and not interested in another striker hopefully that means hes talking to us

Sturridge has signed for liverpool. My sources are suggesting Everton is more likely to be the case, loan is sounding likely at the moment. However nobody seems to know for certain.

French newpaper that suggested he was off to England for talks now saying he is off to china to have talks with a Chinese club interesting

Hasn't Gameiro come out and said he wants to stay and fight for his place at PSG?

Would love to see him at Everton, but cant see where the money is coming from, even if we sell Heitinga, doubt that will be enough to buy him.

^ I don't think he'd cost the earth, I think they paid around £8m for him and, apparently, want to recoup most of that if they can. So, maybe a bid in the region of £6-7m may tempt them, even £5m ? It's not as if they're desperate for cash.
