Anyone witness Howard arguing with fans during the game today?

Believable18 Unbelievable10

I did mate it looked like he was having a go at Howard for a mistake about a min before. It looked like Howard give the lad the old 2 finger salute to which most of the gwladys street took offence to. But to be fair to the lad I could understand why he had a go at tim because lately he has been very poor to say the least. On a brighter note though I think big vic had one of the best games he has ever played for us. LIAM!

Agree0 Disagree0

No, I sit right behind him in the park end, didn't see anything

Agree0 Disagree0

Enlighten us. . ?

Agree0 Disagree0

It wernt at the park end, he didn't come out for the ball, small interaction but soon forgotten

Agree0 Disagree0

I was sittin in the gladys street and seen howard
Avin ago because the crowd were telling him to hurry up and they weren't happy because he wasn't comin out for the ball and basically avin a poor game

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes I did.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes I did. Some fans are pathetic, do they really think the best thing to do is abuse our own players or boo a player? Just to say some of them boo'd when Heitinga came on against Bolton. Heitinga scored. Some boo'd yesterday when Mirallas came off for Jelavic. Mirallas is not 100% fit and was tiring and Jelavic is a striker. We ended up scoring 2 goals when Jelavic came on.
Point of the story? We haven't got a clue, Moyes is a Premiership manager of 11 years. He knows what he is doing more than we will ever know.

Agree0 Disagree0

The fans wanted Howard to take the kick quickly but he couldn't because the ref was talking to someone. However, the fans were also unhappy with him because a min earlier he was not commanding and didn't shout his name and villa Bradley scored.

Agree0 Disagree0

He was arguing with us because we were telling him to come off his line and collect the ball and he thought we wanted to hurry up an kick the ball when villa were making a sub

Agree0 Disagree0

His contribution to this team over the last few seasons has been minimal! Personally I don't like him, he CAN shot stop, but that's where his goalkeeping prowess ends! One on ones=definite goals, not commanding in his box and won't come for crosses! Mucha is NO better tbh!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeahhh what you need to understand is most of the blokes who go the game haven't got a clue what's going on, they don't know much about football! However, heitinga owes the fans an apology after that performance! And they weren't booing mirralas they were booing the decision to take him off!

Just in response to the last post he apologised on twitter. And to anyone who booed moyes for subbing Mirallas you need to remember the lad is just back from months out with hamstring problems therefore he needs to be protected, moyes subs where 100% spot on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mirrallas needs to pass it more - he's very greedy - that run infield across the edge of box he does looks effective but he always shoots from it and it never scores

Agree0 Disagree0

Shallowminded fans forget the number of great saves he has made. Last seasons 4-4, at Utd, last minute save from Ferdinands header anyone? get off his back

Agree0 Disagree0

This was me, ahahha, funny, I was in the lower gwlyadis and was telling him to get the team going and to sort his head out. He didn't take it to well

Who else dreads Heitinga being in the team against van Persie and Rooney next week?
We may have fought back to a 4-4 draw in the same fixture last season, but I just don't see us recovering like that if we fall behind next week. Bad vibes, but in 2004-2005, when we finished fourth, we went to Arsenal for the penultimate game and were hammered seven-nil. That season we lost thirteen league games, but only drew seven games (unlike this season seems to be panning out!) and it was the eighteen victories that gave us the necessary points. I'm not predicting a disaster next week - I'm just putting some banter for others to comment on.

Totally agree doesn't look interested no pace doesn't read game DM got to be jags and distan rather nev Brian or new boy RB never seen a player lose so much form in 6 months!

I could not believe Moyes on Wed whem he took out Jags from middle? Johnny is a nightmare at mo. we just spent 3m on future? un f in believable

Agree0 Disagree0

Heitnga is simply a liability--how can moyses play one of the best centre backs in engalnd at right back to accommodate this donkey--team selection cost us points today--Benteke want past Heitinga for the first goal as though he wasnt there--

Agree0 Disagree0

Think you will find it was 3-3 mate

Agree0 Disagree0

We have a very small squad, fact. We can only use the players we have and when we have no rb we have to tinker with the squad. Players will be asked to play out of position ie jags, who I think is doing a professional job there, and its luck we have a number of full backs to cover. Johnny had a shocker today but count ourselves luck we had our player of the season 2012 for cover. Point is drawing with villa just sums up were we are, can beat anyone on the day but too little squad to beat everyone with ease. this transfer window was bad questions need to be asked as why we didn't have the skills to sign some fresh blood. Anyway the small squad we have are doing an amazing job, 1 point of champions league, get behind it.

I think you'll find it was 4-4 actually mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the un-named poster who said, "Think you will find it was 3-3 mate", my original post's reference to 4-4 was about last season's away Manchester United result. I just am wary of our defence against their attacking strength in this seson's corresponding fixture next week. We did well to not give up and to recover from 1-3 to 3-3 against Villa this weekend, but should never have defended so badly. IMHO, the Manchester United defence isn't great this season, but isn't as poor as the inexperienced Villa defence and we're not clinical with our finishing even though we're creating lots of very good scoring opportunities.
C. A. Jones {Ed025's Note - i think johnny was the main reason for our defensive lapses jonesy..

Agree0 Disagree0

I would guess he won't be in mate. Think Moyes will bring Neville back in at right back

Sometimes I think johnny is playing like that so we don't play him maybe he is playing for a move away. On the other hand all teams go thought a dip in form in a season

Agree0 Disagree0

No you never take your best centre half out and play him rb. It's basics cbs are the last line of defence, they stop the goals going in. See yesterday!

Agree0 Disagree0

Its all very well putting all the blame on Heitinga, but don't you thing Distin and Howard have also been below their best this season? Putting all 3 in the same side is a disaster waiting to happen. wouldn't mind seeing Duffy being given a run at last alongside Jags.

Agree0 Disagree0

Our defence is starting to creak big time - Howard distin and heitinger all over the hill

Agree0 Disagree0

I see poeple giving distin a bit of stick, say what you like you will never see a player walk past him like benteke did to hettinga

Agree0 Disagree0

You can be sure Heitinga will not start against Man utd,

Have been told by a few outside the ground this could be the team today

Howard

Jagielka Heitinga Distin Baines

Osman Fellaini Neville Pienaar

Anichebe Jelavic

SUBS
Mucha
Duffy
Oviedo

Seems a good idea to put Mirallas on the bench wouldn't risk starting him twice him a few days with his jelly hamstrings!

Come on blue men 3 points today please!!!!!
