Darren Bent a possible target for Everton in January. On loan till end of the season. Could be a good signing. Bent gets to play football and a chance to get back into the England set up and Jelavic has a reason to try harder. Win win IMO

According to some of the Arsenal fans last night, Wenger is not a well man, he is seeing his doctor twice a week, and Moyes is being lined up as his replacement! Probably just winding me up! {Ed025's Note - yes they are..

If it aint arsenal somebody is going to come looking for moyes [ great coach ] , if you sell players in the window id say he will go

The difference between success and failure after last january transfer window was Jelavc,s goals and thats whats missing just now. Jelavic looked like he was trying last night but strikers do loose form. I think Jelavic will come good but money for a striker is now priority and thats without loosing any of the current squad. Back Moyes or he will walk, Mr kenwright. How about offering 4million and Anichibe to Wigan for Arouna Kone. thgfest

Kone, really ? He's got the 1st touch of a baby elephant just like Vic though he does have pace just like Vic. I'd like Shane Long personally, hard worker, pacey and whilst not the most prolific does score some good and important goals. But, realistically we can't afford him so Vossen or Gouffran would be more likely.

Kone? he's not gonna solve the problem, Jelly will come good, miralles will be back soon and velios is a good sub to have, Id be more worried about the lack of creativity in midfield and dodgy defending at the back.

Hi I am young supporter and do Any of you no if the Jelavic and mirallas fight Is real and good to see hibbert and gibbo back last night {Ed025's Note - as far as i know mate..it was an on-field spat, nothing more, and no big deal..

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton has been brought up on team spirit under moyes and if ther was an argument, altercation or watever we like to call it,he will nip it in the bud and it wil be over and done with, true blue, efc 4 life

Agree0 Disagree0

All the top 4 teams have 3 or 4 strikers we need an experienced alternative to jelavic we are relying to much on 1 man miralas will improve the team and velios will be good in time but we need more options for goals now it doesnt have to be kone. thgfest

The month of January is when the Kenwright epitaph is ritually burnt - for an entire transfer window - by knee-jerk Evertonians who get whipped into a frenzy by tabloid s***e and the selfish notion that our club should splash millions on medicore talent simply to be seen to be doing it.

Might be nothing but left from the match lastnight and pulled up at traffic lights at 10:15 and Jelavic or a Jelavic look alike (a really good one)in a left hand drive Porsche pulled up next to us and didn't look happy. If it was him then he's left straight after the match.

Believable0 Unbelievable22

I was leaving at the same time and saw Gibson in a Range Rover and another player in AMG white Merc (couldn't see that).... Also around 22:15!! Wouldn't make much of it!!! Get a grip! Jelavic always looks glum even when he is playing and scoring!

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably too late for the chippy, wouldnt read too much into it

Agree0 Disagree0

Child-like fixation with men and cars.

Everton looking to sign yann m'villa who is looking to leave french football after trouble with the french football federation

Believable9 Unbelievable25

Wow, what a signing this would be though I very much doubt there is any substance to this rumour.

M'villa's agent has talked up a potential move for his client for the last half dozen or so transfer windows.

As a player he'd be great for us but there have been persistent questions about his temperament. Also, if he goes anywhere it will to someone who can offer a lot more than we can, both as a transfer fee and in wages.

I'd be VERY surprised if we see this one happen. What's your thinking on it, Ed? {Ed001's Note - he is looking to move, they are looking to sell and most other interest has faded away recently. Spurs have shown interest in him in the past, so it is possible. Certainly Spurs have been looking for a central midfielder, with Parker's injuries, lack of confidence in Huddlestone, the need is there too.}

Agree0 Disagree0

The price quoted when he was going to arsenal was 18m so somehow I don't think so!
