Anyone else a bit surprised by Howard's inclusion tomorrow?
Was expecting Norwich game as a send off but just wondering if it's RMS send off that's brought this forward.

{Ed025's Note - could well be mushy..

29 Apr 2016 20:40:32
Hmmm interesting Mushy. You mean he's in the team.
As much as I want Martinez out, there'll be a little part of me that will feel sorry for him tomorrow. He must be dreading it and that can't be nice for anyone.

Unfortunately he's going nowhere, which means we've had it next season.

Just heard from a reliable source, Roberto has gone.
He's got a new job starting Monday, with that company who are trying to knock down that block of flats in Seaforth.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - that was a secret frank...now you have blown him up.. :)

29 Apr 2016 21:38:06
I heard he failed interview, his plans to plant dynamite from the back up to the middle then back to the back were flawed.
Wet fuses and the proposed phenominal thunder clap bang would have ended up like a 20p sparkler.

Just heard now martinez has gone. Unsworth to take charge for rest of season.

Can something not be done about these wind up merchants.

Just passing on what my pal just told me. He trains the kids at finch farm. This is a rumour sight after all isint it?

Judging by the amount of solid information coming out of Finch Farm 'SITE' there are more staff than players. I to know a Coach that works at Finch Farm, came from Wigan (often have a one or two with him) , nothing said because he is a professional, a couple of hints but nothing solid.

29 Apr 2016 19:22:51
His selection on if we will be sacked has been taken off but could be nothing.

My mate works at Finch Farm too and he told me Harry Redknapp has already agreed a 30 year deal, or was it 40.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i heard 50 frank.. :)

29 Apr 2016 20:09:52
my mate works at finch farm aswell and he said the tea lady has been using the same tea bags after each brew its just been on ssn 100% true.

And now we have positive result against Bournemouth and he is safe. What will be will be. My personal take is (nothing personal) that as a coach he has something to offer, as a Manager in the Premiership and given his intransigence stance on no plan B, he is out of his depth. But who knows what our board think. My stance is Everton is my Team.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i like that stance mate..

At a Howard Kendall tribute evening n Hilton right now. just been told by organiser that Roberto has gone. don't know where this came from. just telling what he's told me. lots of efc legends here?

29 Apr 2016 20:41:23
And me.

29 Apr 2016 17:01:52
Well, you heard it here first folks - Joachim Lowe, German national manager. he's now strongly linked to become next efc manager. his odds have tumbled today to just 3-1 to join us after he finishes his contract after the euros!

Be great soli but can't see it happening realistically.

29 Apr 2016 17:31:51
. a host of bets coming in today on betfair. odds currently now 2-1 favourite!

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Joachim's contract does not finish after the Euros, it finishes after the World Cup in 2018.}

29 Apr 2016 17:36:24
I have asked my ex boss in Berlin to find out what he hears. I know Lowe was looking to quit the national team and he and Klopp are good mates. Can't believe it myself.

Agree0 Disagree2

{Ed002's Note - He is not looking to quit the national team.}

29 Apr 2016 17:39:17
So that blows that rumour out the water then ed mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - No doubt it is a Twitter frenzy.}

29 Apr 2016 18:19:04
You live in Germany hey ed? He signed a two year deal to stay on till 2016 but has expressed he would like to return to club management after. I read that in Der Speigel in 2014. I guess we will see if that happens after the euros. He would be a good catch for any premiership club.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I don't live in Germany and never have done - and I am not sure why you think it is noteworthy. Joachim's contract runs until 2018 and not this summer as you seem to think. You should perhaps not believe everything you read in newspapers. He is however intending to return to club management when it suits him and one particular club has tried to discuss future possibilities with him - but he won't talk to them at this time.}

29 Apr 2016 20:22:14
I think some of these posters believe we do not know how to read or lok up odds for ourselves.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Apr 2016 22:51:57
there must be some truth in it 33/ 1 down to 2/ 1 after a "flurry of bets" let's hope there's something in it, that's what we need some real continental knowlage and passion, and jog these sparky and DM shouts on.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - The wonders of Twitter.}

30 Apr 2016 01:11:09
I don't think you can use bookie odds as a reliable source. Bookies make up rubbish to increase the number of bets they receive (and the profit they make from that) . Plus they are often linked to media so they fabricate stories to drum up business.

Twitter is even worse. Usually some bored 12 year old trolling for attention.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Apr 2016 14:07:10
Heard bookies stop taking bets on Rooney comeing back to Everton in the summer would he take a pay cut to come back to us as he's only at United for the money if he is a blue and getting played in midfield?

Believable2 Unbelievable4

29 Apr 2016 14:49:40
never mind would Rooney take a price cut.

Why would we want him, done nothing for past few years and just another manc.

once a red, always a red.

Agree3 Disagree7

29 Apr 2016 17:08:54
I think he's definitely past his best. Has he still got something to offer us? IMHO yes. The kids look up to him and he would improve our 1st team as it stands. He's a natural leader which we haven't had for 2 years. The biggest negative for me is how much will he cost signing fee/ wages. Would that money be better spent elsewhere.

Agree1 Disagree1

29 Apr 2016 19:43:39
I'd have Rooney back myself. The role in which he has grown into at Utd suits him and he's still better as a midfielder than anyone we have at the moment IMO.
