So you reckon we'll draw ManCity in the FA Cup that month and he'll play for them?

Ive heard that he might return on loan or 8 million {Ed025's Note - on loan would be ok, but as for paying £8m for him...no way pedro!..there are far better players out there for that money IMO..

I hope not! Thought he was vastly overrated whilst playing for us and could only go sideways with the ball-never looked anything like the 20m player the media were hyping him up to be, and even when we got 12m I was amazed.

If have him back for 4m, perhaps Martinez can make him the player he was destined to be, he's not scared to play younger players, that's evident with Barkley.

Could develop into a very good c/h. Big strong and can pass a ball.

I would have Rodwell back myself now moyes has gone as I always had the impression that he was to scared of making a mistake under moyes, and when he has been fit for City he's been quite impressive as he plays with energy and drive that we never saw when he was with us.

Yes and get Yobo, or Drenthe back, Straqualursi isn't doing much these days. How about him? If we get Roswell back for any price other than a loan or massive bargain, he'll mainly be keeping Gibson company in the physio waiting room. Steps forward, not steps back.

We got rid of him for a reason. he wasn't good enough.

I agree with Mike S, I would have him back in a heartbeat, only a fool wouldnt. Clear up his injuries and he has all the attributes to be a super midfielder or centre half, under Martinez and that the key. He is still very yoing and has bags of potential, El Bob would make him flourish

we are fools because we disagree with you? how pathetic, he is crooked as they come, passes sideways to improve his passing accuracy, cannot tackle and has been at fault for a goal in nearly every match he has played at city, he is rubbish and a headless chicken, wouldn't pay 1m for him never mind 8m, one of the worst players I have seen at goodison, what attributes does he have? zilch, awful player, we said el bob would make jelavic and osman flourish look how that is going

jordie clasie, fernando, our whole squad bar osman, heitinga and gueye, I just don't understand people made up we got mirallas and oviedo by selling a really poor player who would never of made it and now he is older, more injury prone and making more mistakes then ever and people are saying let's buy him back, there is good players out there at 8m and jack rodwell is not one of them, he is a headless chicken, he was always overhyped, i'm getting called a fool for not wanting him back and people are calling james vaughan a championship player but rodwell isnt, I know who I would rather have, people honeslty sit there going 'paid too much for a relegated wigan player who because the team was relegated their manager and whole team are the worst out there, that's my logic' but are saying they would pay actual money for a player who has never did anything and never will do, I rate a lot of players mate but also thing a lot of players are just plain rubbish, don't see kopites going 'you fool I would love kyriakos or paul konchesky back, again only a fool wouldnt' because he is at that level only injured 24/7, you don't see villa fans going 'lets buy heskey back in a heartbeat' (unless its a joke obviously) because emile heskey is a much better player than jack rodwell, apologies for the long paragraph just my opinion everyone is entitled to one and I simply just find jack rodwell to be a headless chicken who jogs around the pitch to make himself look busy but never wants the ball or wins it
