Not posted in an age, just been looking at other people's posts. Anyway, found this article, got me quite excited when I read it.
Everton CEO Robert Elstone excited by proposed secret new stadium location:
Everton CEO Robert Elstone has confirmed (at a recent meeting with the Everton Football Club Shareholders Association quarterly meeting on the 14th of March) that the club are in discussions with Liverpool City Council over a location for a new stadium and that he is excited about the proposed plot.
Mr Elstone wouldn’t however reveal the location but was pushed by Everton Shareholders Executive committee member Mark Grayson that if the club are to leave Goodison Park that the new stadium should be as close to the city centre as possible.
The Chief Exec went on to confirm that the club was in discussions with partners over delivering an exciting new stadium and the design would not be the same as the failed destination Kirkby tesco stadium and that the club were speaking with architects to construct a stadium which would support “a main stand of high standard” and support the clubs corporate and hospitality ambitions.
Mr Elstone will meet members of the shareholders association again to discuss the plans further.

Sick of all this new stadium promises from elstone and how he gets us all excited, we will look back in three years and think 'what happened to the new stadium elstone was excited about?', its all tosh, no new stadium, no rich owners, just same old everton, nothing more
It has become evident that potential investors want a business not just a football club. Infrastructure needs to be in place for the club to be a viable purchase.
Roberto has been quoted that Finch Farm needs two more pitches, overnight bedrooms for 1st team and a full size in door pitch.
The club is evolving but at times at a snails pace.
Roberto has also stated that he has saved all his money for this summer to buy in a number of targets.
I think that Mr Elstone should take a leaf out of Alan Myers text book and engage more frequently. I think we need to put ourselves out there and create media attention that we are a forward thinking club with a great set up with superb foundations in place.
Image can mean alot. We have a great manager, great team at present, Europe on the horizon and quality youth players with so much potential its frightening.
Anyway hopefully in the coming years EFC will get its chance.
{Ed025's Note - good post that AW, and i could not agree more about the transparency which the supporters need mate..
As much as I would like this to happen it won't without investment, Everton just don't have that sort of cash knocking about.
