Still think we will snatch leroy fer from under Norwich has fer is very keen to join Everton

Believable11 Unbelievable13

If we want him, we have got him. It is as simple as that at the moment.

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance we missed are time to get him

Agree0 Disagree0

Seen that some people have said they want Aubameyang. Well the Mirror who links us to everybody seems to think that Martinez is trying to hijack his move to Newcastle. I'm a big fan myself. What do you reckon Ed? {Ed025's Note - im a big fan as well joe..

Believable10 Unbelievable8

I think kenwright got the money but his just going to spend it wisely

Agree0 Disagree0

Aubameyang is a brilliant player would love him

Agree0 Disagree0

He is the real next Henry. I love to see it happen come to us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be ana amazing signing, and one that could end our hunt for a consistent goalscorer.

Although for this to happen, we are going to need to sell Fellaini or Baines (preferably Fellaini).

Agree0 Disagree0

Rather have bony myself

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't need to sell Fellani or Baines to land his player becoz we have 15 million to spend all ready plus if we sell heitinga that should fetch us another 6 or7 million

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle have the better budget to get him though

Agree0 Disagree0

Heitinga £6-7m?! Good one.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is anyone intetested in heitinga? Ithink we would be lucky to get 2 million for him

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 21:46:10
Honda, Kone and Alcaraz in. Johnny Heitinga going!

Believable12 Unbelievable6

These will most likely be our only signings with expeption of a keeper to replace Mucha, Alcaraz will sign towards the end of the window, talks will Kone will begin Monday and talks with Honda will start next week

Agree0 Disagree0

Have a feeling that Honda is waiting on AC Milan, just a case of AC and CSKA working out a price.

The 2nd rate players we are being linked with are an embarrassment to our great club!

Believable13 Unbelievable9

I can just imagine how embarassed you felt when we signed AJ from Palace, Lescott from Wolves, Cahill from Millwall and Jagielka from Sheffield United. And don´t forget that s*** house Lee Carsley who got relegated two or three times before he joined up with our great club.
But cheer up mate, Baines may be on the move. you know that local lad we once signed from Wigan?
Fingers crossed Bobby will get rid of our other second rate players not yet mentioned like Coleman, Stones, Naismith, Duffy. We´re Everton for ****´s sake!

Agree0 Disagree0

If your that embarrassed then go away as we don't need your type of supporter.

Agree0 Disagree0

Coleman second rate, has been the best right back in the league since the turn of the year. Duffy & Stones have yet to be given a chance, for the few games he got in last season Duffy done very well, Stones has yet to make hie debut, even Naismith deserves a chance in his best position. Do you have any knowledge about football or are you just a clown.

Agree0 Disagree0

He was being sarcastic

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you not understand sarcasm?

Agree0 Disagree0

First comment on this is spot on. Most of our modern day greats were nobody's, and they become great with Everton. that's one of the things thsat makes Everton so special in my eyes.

Agree0 Disagree0

The second rate negative moaners claiming to be Everton fans who are not prepared to give our new manager a chance are far more of an embarrassment to our great club.

Agree0 Disagree0

How is saying Naismith in with those others named sarcasm?
Naismith is horrifically bad

Agree0 Disagree0

You included Naismith, no wonder people didn't notice the sarcasm!

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed. Kone and alcaraz don't exactly bring down the average age of the squad and are at best average. No need for kone when we already have a similar player in anichebe.

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember the same being said when we signed peter reid and andy gray, say no more.

Agree0 Disagree0

As some of you have said, I was beeing sarcastic while Istill believe that Naismith will come good if he is played in his right position on the pitch.
Everton have a history of getting in 2nd rate players, only to develop them into first class players. Remember Tricky Trev? Peter Reid? Hey. Neville Southall even came from the fourth division. what on earth were we thinking? ;)

Just a quick one lads but as informative as ever, my sources at the club tell me that Jon Obi Mikel is the seen my Roberto Martinez as the perfect foil for Gibson and Felli to attack in the new system. Apparently, he will bought using around 5m of the 18m we're holding out for (Baines).
As always just what I've heard don't shoot the messenger.
EverBlue

Believable7 Unbelievable24

Probably the most inneffective player in the league. Offers NOTHING. {Ed025's Note - i agree AB..

Agree0 Disagree0

As Karl Pilkington would say. Bulls**t

Agree0 Disagree0

He must do something right he starts for a better club than us {Ed025's Note - how are chelsea a better club than us??..richer yes, better...no way pedro....you should go and support them mate...you deserve each other..

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha ha ha he ha ha! Your crazy! I like you, but your crazy!! Ed he's nuts {Ed0 25's Note - as a squirrels fart mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

I love everton but some fans are deluded Ed included chelsea are a better team than us, better players, better manager and that ed my friend is a FACT {Ed0the bet25's Note - im not disputing the better team bit...but you said better club...do you retract that now?..

Agree0 Disagree0

Mikel is a very solid player he sits in midfield and keeps the ball simple passes he would suit martinezs stye perfectly.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mikel lacks to the 2 key attributes to being a good holding midfielder, awareness/reading of the game and positioning. If you look at Busquets, he is imperious in these 2 attributes ( as well as being an amazing passer). In all honesty Mikel looks better going forward as he often does at international level. He is a bit like Rodwell to me, has many of the physical attributes but seems to lack a natural footballing brain.

Agree0 Disagree0

Chealsea is a joke of a club especially their fans, they win the Europa leuge and finish third and still forced one of their best ever managers to leave

Agree0 Disagree0

Kone apparently having a meeting with everton officials tomorrow or over the weekend.

Believable14 Unbelievable9

28 Jun 2013 19:53:58
Would rather put a cheeky bid in for defo seem as spurs are buying everyone.

Agree0 Disagree0

Defoe is on a free.
Sell jelavic

Agree0 Disagree0

Tomorrow is over the weekend isn't it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Poor player. No ambition with this one.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not worth it. We already have anichebe who is the same type of player. The money would be better spent elsewhere.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is happening, and they they do work at weekends! that's when we play most games, Jesus!

L4 4EL

Agree0 Disagree0

Poster saying Kone is like Anichebe clearly hasn't watched much of Wigan last season. He doesn't stop working, he holds up the ball brilliantly he's fast, strong and has good feet. Much better than what we have at the minute, don't think there was one defence who he didn't cause trouble. Look how much trouble he caused us! Yeah, he's no Van Persie, but he is better than what we have. And if you complain about age and price, we bought Distin for 6 million and he was the same age as Kone

TC

Agree0 Disagree0

Defenders invariably tend to have a longer career in the top flight than attackers.

Agree0 Disagree0

He got 13 for Wigan. He could easily get 15 for us with chances we create.

Not a world beater, but a decent player in our budget. Who else can we get for about £5m who would score that many?

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 18:31:26
Everton make a5 million bid for Honda

Believable20 Unbelievable11

There's a surprise Honda apparently agrees to join Milan and we then throw a £5 million bid in

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would he go to milan for?

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 17:36:10
Ed Honda is going to Milan end of {Ed025's Note - you never said..FACT!..

Believable11 Unbelievable14

Ed believe me and be realistic I have no sources to be honest but Honda is going to Milan {Ed025's Note - he may well do, but nothing is certain yet mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Galliano has stated Milan have 5 strikers already so Honda will not be going there unless someone leaves even then he will not be first choice.
Back to the player if he wants regular first team footie he knows Where to go
Blue60

Agree0 Disagree0

Sky Italia have said we have bid for him so him joining Milan is nailed on as you suggest.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd be disappointed if we didn't get Honda, he's probably the most exciting link so far, because he's top class and there's actually a chance we'll get him, however slim. But he's bound to want to weigh his options and listen to an offer from Milan, but how old is he? I think he's 27 and if that's the case, if he wants to come to the PL one day as rumours suggest, then he's probably limiting his future chances of this by signing a contract in Spain.

Agree0 Disagree0

Honda is a midfielder mate, not a striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

Onlyhaveeyesforblue, I'm sorry buddy, but Milan are in Italy. Rookie error.

Agree0 Disagree0

Damn. Didn't spot that. Should've paid more attention in Geography. All this Bainesy speculation has ruined my brain. I hang my head in shame. {Ed025's Note - easy mistake to make mate..no big deal..

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 17:07:26
Honda has agreed 3 year deal with milan {Ed025's Note - hmmm..

Believable11 Unbelievable20

28 Jun 2013 17:04:12
Ed any news on us actually going for Redmond? Think he would be a class signing personally at only 2/3 mil {Ed025's Note - see previous posts mate..

Believable6 Unbelievable3

28 Jun 2013 16:57:04
Told you about Chung young lee yesterday a bid of 3.5 million has been accepted plus we have bid 5 million for Honda and have had a bid under kones release clause accepted to I just hope we can keep baines if felli goes for the 22 million in his release clause we may get our wish of that big signing this summer!

Believable10 Unbelievable6

28 Jun 2013 14:40:43
Is it true that Milan have agreed a 3 year deal with Honda? {Ed025's Note - not as far as i am aware bland..

Believable7 Unbelievable10

28 Jun 2013 14:38:40
Are we interested in Redmond ed? He's expressed his desire to join us. {Ed025's note - he is trying to manufacture a move mike, but we would be interested mate..

Believable10 Unbelievable2

He could turn up outside the gates of Goodison, dressed as a clown, making balloon animals and holding hands with Peter Odemwingie and I'd still sign him up. If he wants to play for Everton, for £2M Bill should bite his hand off.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 15:58:44
I can tell you for a fact that Baines does not get on with Moyes at all. He will definately not be joining Man Utd. My source is from someone who actually sits on the bench. Do not worry lads.

Sean

Believable11 Unbelievable16

So you get on with everyone you work with Sean? He may not get on with moyes but whiskey nose is still pulling the strings!

L4 4EL

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree. But we work through necessity. They work through choice

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 15:54:09
Chung young lee from Bolton an offered has been made. You heard anything ed {Ed025's Note - no mate..only just got home..

Believable8 Unbelievable5

28 Jun 2013 15:44:38
Sky say Everton and Sunderland are interested in Chung Yong Lee.

Believable7 Unbelievable3

28 Jun 2013 15:40:53
everton and sunderland have made an enquiry for chung yong lee source tv

Believable6 Unbelievable4

28 Jun 2013 15:39:32
One of the enquired players is actually Chung young lee. Didn't see that coming. His first season at Bolton he was quality but has been I hired the last few seasons good player

Believable6 Unbelievable3

28 Jun 2013 08:08:20
Reports in press (don't believe everything you read ha) saying 15 mill will get baines surely not ed? And also we are to offer him a deal next week? Why next week and not now!. Deano {Ed025's Note - just press talk deano..

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Tv said Everton might accept a bid of 18 mill.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the £18m that 'sources close to the deal' quote would be a fair price. I can't see them offering any more that that for a 28yr old fullback.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 14:04:11
Everton in talks over new ground

Believable4 Unbelievable15

28 Jun 2013 12:33:11
Apparently Bainsey will be offered a new contract to sign next week worth 70-75k a week to stay at everton. And I think after the way he has thus far spoken about Martinez I think he will stay & sign on the dotted line & be loyal!

Believable18 Unbelievable8

28 Jun 2013 13:38:18
I think he is already on 70k mate, I think we need to make a statement of intent and offer him 100k per week for 5 years, this would take him to the end of his career and I think he would sign immediately

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope so mate

Agree0 Disagree0

100k? No thanks

Agree0 Disagree0

Good idea degsy but what if the board want to sell and just holding out for more money

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 14:25:20
he's on £44k per week at the moment, so I think a new contract offer of £75k per week will make him decide where his loyalties lie

Agree0 Disagree0

No Loyalty in the game now m8s, he will go, the big question is will all the money go on a new player? no way, we are in for a bad year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Believe it or not he's actually only on around 35 grand and they're looking to give him double that on a new contract. TomD

Agree0 Disagree0

£100k / week.
Thats £5.2m / year
Do you think EFC can afford that amount?

Agree0 Disagree0

He's on 44 grand a week

Agree0 Disagree0

This sucks. There coming back in with a bid of 16 + add ons

we all know Martinez is working for ESPN right now. not a BK hater but this is on him the stand strong and tell man u to F off.

what's baines got left on his contract with us? {Ed025's Note - 2 yrs..

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 16:38:21
It might not be that simple if the club increase Baines' salary then they might also have to increase the salary of other players. Some players may have a parity clause with the club's top earner.

Agree0 Disagree0

100 k a week for a 28-29 year old. Spew that. Take the 20m and get someone young and hungry on 20g per week.

Agree0 Disagree0

If sambas worth a 100k then bainesys worth 200k, in all honesty everton are a long way off giving someone a 100k, we don't need someone younger if he left either we would need someone whos near there peak now because are back up isn't good at the moment

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't believe someone said sell Baines and get someone young and hungry. He is simply the best player around in that position and an total professional. It will be a massive boost when he signs the contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 12:22:14
Everton will reject 20 million for Baines. If they offered 35million I take that

Believable10 Unbelievable4

Kenwrong would never reject 20 mill m8s, it would go on a new play?

Agree0 Disagree0

Tell united not for sale at any price should mean that

Agree0 Disagree0

Baines should not go at any price as he is irreplaceable.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 12:00:09
Everton looking to take Barcelona. Player deulofeu on loan next season

Believable10 Unbelievable7

28 Jun 2013 11:56:56
Rumour is that Nathan Redmond has told Birmingham FC, he wants to transfer to Everton.

Believable16 Unbelievable2

28 Jun 2013 11:26:07
the echo reporting we've put 20m price tag
on baines an won't budge an redmond will
sign soon

Believable8 Unbelievable2

Thats the Echo rumour mill where they just echo (pardon the pun) what rumours have been flying round.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't want Baines to go, but if United offered a fair price, and by that I mean over 20mil at least, and the lad himself wanted to go, I wouldn't begrudge, probably work out for both parties. Baines goes to United, experiences CL football which he deserves, and finally gets the praise he deserves from the media, so under-rated in the media it is sad.

For us, we avoid another Arteta situation, we rejected a 20+mil bid from Man City for the Spaniard, then a year later we took a massive loss on him. Baines is going to be 29, so is price is only going to go down from now on, and for a club like us, sadly, given our finances we can't really afford to do that.

If United don't stump up the cash, then happy days, we keep one of the best LB's in the world. No-one is bigger than the club, whatever happens, this club will go forward.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 10:37:26
united web site says now offered 16 million with add ons tp.

Believable4 Unbelievable5

28 Jun 2013 09:54:10
I know this may sound dodgy. Just seen a old friend who had a hen do other day. Baines wife was there. she asked about baines and said he wants to stay with us and does NOT wanna go man u. Reliable source

Believable12 Unbelievable5

Good timing that, he must of thought they as going to make a bid then

Agree0 Disagree0

My mate's kid plays in same footy side as baines's lad and heard baines is going united

Agree0 Disagree0

Baines' little one is still in a pram last time I saw ( in Zara, Liverpool One about a month ago) so please stop trying to unsettle us with obvious blag rumours.

Agree0 Disagree0

Baines lad is bout 6 mate so possible

Agree0 Disagree0

Baines was recently on holiday in America his child is not in a pram, whoever says they saw him in liverpool one unless he has two. He was playing football on a beach with him defo around 6 or 7

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 09:50:17
second bid from Manchester united has bee presented to Everton of 14.5 million for baines.

Believable5 Unbelievable8

28 Jun 2013 07:38:02
fellaini buy out clause expires on aug 16th aprox then everton can demand more or refuse to sell tp.

Believable9 Unbelievable1

Only risk is to hold out and end up with less at the end of the year when the player won't resign. He is worth more than the clause, but only with 2 plus years on his contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 12:10:18
be happy if we get to that date if the clause is true

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 07:30:37
For those of you thinking we won't get more than 15mil.

Andy Carrol went to Liverpool for 35 mil. Amazingly West Ham then paid 15mil when we all know he's not worth more than a carrot to a donkey which he wants back by the way whoever took it.

Believable8 Unbelievable2

What the hell has the second paragraph got to do with, assuming you are on about what I think you are, Baines being subject to a bid from Man Utd?

If we want more than £15m, we will get it or we will keep Baines. He has a contract for 2 years. We are in the driving seat, even if it means risking losing him for less or on a free, in the hope we sign him up on a new contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

I for one wouldn't mind seeing him in a blue shirt. We idolised big dunc for years. I think carroll is more powerful {Ed025's Note - hmmm..

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 04:06:21
Everybody just calm down. There will be VERY little action this summer. Billy Bulls**t has already said so. If we keep Baines and Fellaini - expect a free transfer CB (Alcaraz) and a free goalie (ie. Turnbull) only. No new striker (unless a loan or a free) and no new midfielders (ie. Fer, Honda) unless we sell first - Bill will regard Barkley as his 'replacement' for Neville, Hitzlsperger etc.

Believable6 Unbelievable15

After bk has said we have made 2 enquiries I doubt it will be for 2 free players. BK knows exactly what he's doing with the club he's a true blue - although he may not pump masses of money in he spends wisely with very little debt compared to other clubs. He knows what he's doing

Agree0 Disagree0

Not what he said at all. But people will hear what they want I guess.

Agree0 Disagree0

No striker = struggle. Everyone knows that even our pathetic board. We are 3 players down and have a small squad. 5 are needed at least. so it will need to be free transfers, loans and may 2 decent signing. or i'm afraid we may end up like villa have been recently.

Agree0 Disagree0

Go and spout negative somewhere else what is the point of supporting our great club if all u do is moan I'm excited about the new season and can't wait to see who signs on the dotted line

Johnnyblueboy

Agree0 Disagree0

What your saying is calm down we had a thin squad last year who cares if its thin again with a couple of free transfers

Agree0 Disagree0

And you beieve what Kenright says? You said "Billy Bulls***", that is self explanatory.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 12:13:08
dont think we'd struggle if we sold nobody and bought free transfers plus the inclusion of youth being deployed in 'lesser' matches. the biggest bonus of transfer in that case will be martinez and his attacking style of play instead of defend a draw from moyes. craighuytonblue

Agree0 Disagree0

You really don't know anything about anything.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Johnny. Sick of moaning blues whining about everything the club does. I'm well optimistic for next season. Come on you blues. Martinez should hopefully get Jelly firing on all cylinders now that the centre forward killer has moved on. Watch RVP get 3 by Jan! with some big grock stuck up alongside him pinching all the high balls. JP

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jun 2013 23:59:44
Is leroy fer a target for norwich ed's if so will we go in for him to? The lad wants to come I think. I don't want baines to go like every other blue I think he would be to hard to replace. But if the offer 15 million plus I think he will. To progress we need to keep our important players and then add one or two and then maybe a youth player to the club and keep movin forward as we don't have a money man fundin us. If we lose both fella and baines I think we may struggle. {Ed025's Note - fer is a target for norwich dave..

Believable3 Unbelievable0

27 Jun 2013 23:26:08
Just heard from a close relative of the player that the mancs have upped the bid and the deals pretty close, u heard anything if an improved bid ed? {Ed025's Note - no pab, but im sure its coming mate..

Believable6 Unbelievable4

What worries me is Moyes wouldn't waste his time bidding for a player that didn't want to leave. Baines won't ask to leave, but will probably go if everton accept the offer.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jun 2013 22:24:50
Apparently Kone and Honda where the players enquired an now in talks with Sinclair. Fer bud to be made later on. Any thoughts ed? {Ed025's Note - that sounds about right mate..

Believable4 Unbelievable0

27 Jun 2013 23:59:59
Everton have made an enquiry about kone, will he take hibbo's number 2 shirt? Source tv

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Would you try and take Hibbo's shirt off him? You are likely to get a knuckle sandwich or a Liverpool kiss if you do.
There's only one Tony Hibbert!

my mates just phoned me from liverpool, and he reckons he's heard that 1 of the 2 players we our interested is, Giampolo Pazzini from a. c Milan, apparently he is unhappy since Ballotelli (spelling?) has signed for ac, and he wants a loan move to boost his chances of playing in world cup next year. probably B. S but thought if share my nugget of gossip

I wouldn't want him.
