Love to know if the thumbs down vote was someone who hopes it's not true and he stays 😂.

It's very clear that Koeman has wanted Sigurdson from the start, So you can only blame the person on the board for delaying the purchase creating unnecessary stress on the player and all concerned they will have to pay the 50mil that is made clear from Swansea and I believe they will pay the full amount but it could of been done weeks ago, I am sure Everton will not be selling Barkley on the cheap or McCarthy, just get the deal done and move on.

It would be negligent not to try and get the best deal. We have brought in a few signings. I'm sure the board will take your advice plus
Inforce corporal punishment and sort that clown who's only brought in 8 players. Our season is definitely over after our 1st compeditive game in july :) The click will happen give it more the 90 mins.

hahah bloody eck not even a month into the window, be nice getting players in early but sometimes got to think business matters, sig will probably drag on due to the fact you obviously try get the best deal, just because we have the money doesn't mean we have to spend it all Christ tonight chill out.

I see a lot of people complaining that they aren't happy about the way the sigurdson deal is progressing! They fail to realise it's Swansea moving the goalposts here!
If we had owned with £50m I would bet my house on them saying the want £65m this deal was never going to be cheap or quick because of his value to them
It's how business is done
And as for people moaning about the performance last night so what it's a win! It will take a few games but we will get there
So far I'm very happy with our business and I've no doubt by 1st league game we will be looking good!
Last night wasn't the best performance but with games I think most of new boys can force their was as regulars!
Sandro looked like he can really step up this year and I think once the first one goes in the goals will flow!
Martina was decent and between him and holgate and maybe Kenny I think until Coleman returns we will be fine
Keane showed some moments of class and pace too it's hard to gauge from last night but I think our opening five games are perfect to get him up and running! The best defenders thrive off the big games and I remember last year against city he outpaced and outmuscled aguero a number of times so the tools are there hopefully the big start brings the best out in him
Klaasen well decent but unspectacular last night but TBH that cm spot is a tough one to look good in when u consider the quality he is next to! Evertonians even in recent times are used to having standout players in there think Cahill, Guedes, arteta etc so our expectations are often higher for these positions but give him time he will be sound
And Rooney well TBH he shouldn't need talking up he will me massive for us this season.

I could not disagree more with your post regarding Swansea moving goal posts. I live in Swansea. they have stated the same price from day 1, which has not changed. You don't go into Tesco and haggle do you. We know the price so just pay it!

Uran, I could not agree more my friend. This deal should have been sorted long time ago. The purpose of pre season is to get the team for and new players bedded in with the new team mates and systems etc. Sigi is not going to be a bench warmer line Rooney he will run the show and if stated he was RK no 1 target just get the deal sorted.

Swansea are not messing us about they have given a price so we must match it not go cheap on a few million which is pocket change today. If full backs are going for 50 million then a proven creative dead ball specialist is worth it. just get it sorted.

Unless you have been Sat in meeting after meeting at Swansea how can you possibly know! But based on the things being leaked in media etc then If you go back about 5/ 6 weeks Swansea were asking 40mil now it's 50m that is moving goalposts!
Personally I think he is worth £50m in today's market so I do agree we should just pay it! But on the other hand if it was another club that was chasing him that hadn't just spent what we had then we would get him for £40m
And I don't blame Swansea either as they are making a good business decision!

you can auction a player between 2 clubs or more, but if only 1 club is wanting him, you can, t just keep raising the price, or maybe this is a Welsh thing. Con the English.
