A here's a thought maybe just maybe we have our man in place and are just waiting for the Jose circus to die down, just so it doesn't take the gloss off our announcement. Just a thought.

Being reported that we looking at german goalkeeper Ron-robert zieler from hannover he was supposed to have brilliant season couldn't stop hannover from being relegated he would be available for 2.7 million ed do u know him if so how good is he and do u think he be good signing for us.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - never heard of him to be honest duke..

26 May 2016 21:25:42
he meant to be decent keeper hasn't had best seasons used be number 3 German keeper not now as they have red Stegen and Leno.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 May 2016 21:54:14
He's supposed to be decent. He was at Utd as a youngster but never got near the 1st team. I'd like us to go for Rulli from Sociedad. He's a very good keeper and still only early 20s. Could be a possibility if Moyes comes back, it's one of the the only positives as far as I can see.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 May 2016 22:41:36
heard we looking at areola however spell it from pay was on loan at villareal and had decent season. i think mandada will be our number 1 in summer.

Total depression over Manager situation on here but somebody posted a couple of weeks ago our next appointment would shock the world of football (could have been total rubbish) but perhaps no announcement till after Saturday night?

We have the money.

Now watch, DM with a new sound bite on the 'People's Club!

We'll know by Monday lunch time.

Think we will know Sunday when we parade him at Goodison before the fight and still think it will be pelagrini.

If it was up to Bellew and if true then I would agree with you Bazwil212 but it is not up to Bellew or even the Club. Bellew's management have hired the evening and will accept no distractions.

Still no news on a manager lmao
Come on guys pull your socks up were always last fdb please.

Damn, my gut feeling of koeman not looking good now lol, rumours of Mancini being interviewed now over the weekend, anyone heard anything similar?

Believable1 Unbelievable3

26 May 2016 19:39:06
Yes

There's a guy called shorty who posted on a forum.
He used to work for the club.

His info is good and reckons that Mancini is in the mix

Just think we wouldn't have to change the initials on his tracksuits :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - that will save us a few bob lance..

26 May 2016 19:26:19
Ive said all along that koeman would be my 1st choice. And i think if the board offered a wage he couldn't refuse he would come.
That aside i think I've finally settled on fdb as he has a proven record with youngsters.

Plus someone said him with pelligrini as dof. that's a win win for everyone.
Lets face it the likes of simeone will not be coming and fdb and pel would create a force to be reckoned with :)

As the Belew fight is being shown live world wide, what are the chances we unveil our manager, on Sunday at Goodison.

Believable1 Unbelievable4

26 May 2016 21:44:36
Never happen in a million years. would you really take the focus away from Tony fighting.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - knowing tony well i think he would be made up dentie..

26 May 2016 23:12:09
Well I stand corrected ed. just he has his dream of fighting at goodison come true. if I could be there I would to cheer him on. if we would unveil our new manager at that time, it would be when Tony is receiving his championship belt for knocking his opponent clean out. COYB. (that's also, Come On You Bomber)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - love it dentie..

26 May 2016 16:54:44
Hey

. "if's, but's, maybe's, ". this is all there is right now. Of course rumours are going to be posted as this is what this forum is all about and some are stronger than others. but no need to jump to conclusions and think its the end of the world if a potential managerial link falls through. I do think MP is in the frame but after that who knows. truth is no one knows for certain what is happening for certain behind closed doors. so let's sit back n not get too pessimistic about it all. I trust FM to pick the right boss, after all its his investment potentially at stake. COYB

Mart.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Could be wrong but just maybe we have an idea and close to naming the guy and would not be suprised if parading him, coincides with the Belew fight at Goodison on Sunday.

Braga coach Paulo Fonseca has emerged as a target for Everton, a source close to the Portuguese club has told ESPN FC

Anyone know anything about this guy, another one we have not heard about, obviously those interviewed up to now have not impressed Mr Moshiri, Billionaires don't listen to Bull, that's Moyes out the running then.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

26 May 2016 14:35:59
How do you know that Moshiri interviewed Moyes Murf? I can't see him wasting his time to be honest. I think that was a Kenwright thing and either he or a board member talked to Moyes.

Agree0 Disagree2

26 May 2016 14:56:27
Just press garbage on internet mike, moyes has probably not even been interviewed.

Agree0 Disagree2

26 May 2016 15:28:01
Murf I don't think they will give the job to the first person that they think will do well. Rather I think they will assess everyone that are interested and pick the best candidate for the future of the club. Therefore the eventful manager may have been interviewed already.

They'll take their time and weigh everything up. They might announce soon enough but they will be in no hurry imo. Better to be sure about it. Our next manager will have a lot of responsibility and will have a big influence on the future of Everton F. C.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 May 2016 16:12:57
By all accounts murf, Fonseca has won Braga there first cup in God knows how long. Supposedly goes about his buisness quietly and is by all accounts a fairly good tactician and decent all round manager. I know we have had scouts at Braga quite a lot watching Rafa Silva, so a scout could also be impressed with how the team he is watching plays due to the manager.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 May 2016 16:37:35
I certainly think our next manager has already been interviewed and spoken to on more than one occasion. I further think that Manager is Pellegrini.

Agree1 Disagree1

26 May 2016 14:16:38
Love this quote "RONALD DE BOER has suggested his brother Frank would dump Everton talisman Romelu Lukaku in the reserves. "
Get this guy in, he would sort this bunch of underachievers out in no time. As I have suggested before get Pellegrini in as Director of Football and de Boer in as Manager.

Believable7 Unbelievable2

26 May 2016 16:38:24
Better call than mine that BlueMike, must admit had not thought of that.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 May 2016 16:49:52
That's what we need, a manager being a manager and a footballer being a footballer, WHY does this footballer think he has the right to say what he can do, when he is tied up with a contract. NO player should be bigger than the club, this young boy needs to learn respect, just like berahino had to at west brom. BRING rdb, that's the first time I've said that.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 May 2016 19:19:09
We might have a fair bit of money to spend but don't think we could afford Pellegrini and De Boer.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 May 2016 14:03:32
I've just heard that we have contacted David Moyes.

By all accounts when they were clearing out Martinez's office they found some of Davie's old gear in a box. He's been asked to mind the door doesn't smack him on the way out.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

26 May 2016 13:50:06
I see Rom has been shouting his mouth off, again, and has confirmed that he wants to leave. He added that he will talk to FM out of courtesy, according to an article (can't remember the source) online.
First of all, I'd rather he stayed as he scores plenty of goals. I'd go as far as saying that, without them goals, we would have been worse off last season. That said, he has a lot of improving to do (first touch springs to mind) . I'd let him go as long as two stipulations are met. The first is to a champions league team, this is what he claimed he wanted if he left us. That will rule out Chelsea and Manchester United but give him his wish of playing in that competition. The second is that we get top whack for him, name a price and don't take a penny less. We need to be as ruthless as Liverpool where when they sold LS and RS.
If he does go, almost a certainty, then I wish him well.

26 May 2016 13:35:59
Hypothetical one here if Zlatan goes to MU do you think Rooney would be surplus to requirements would we be his first port of call.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - i would doubt it sa, he will play one more season at utd then end his career in the MLS i suspect mate..

26 May 2016 18:30:48
Rooney definitely playing at Utd next season. May leave come Jan but he'll start August at Utd.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 May 2016 13:28:27
Don't claim to know anything on the inside, but, you don't see many poor bookmakers about.
Dispite the owners saying he won't be moving, there has been a big move for Unai Emery, 6/ 1 to 3/ 1 today and pellegrini is on some list out to the same price, it may not be coincidental that this move comes afder the southhampton manager agreed a contract extention.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

26 May 2016 13:36:48
The reason there aren't many poor bookmakers is not because they always know who the likely winners are, but rather that they set the odds according to the market and make sure they earn a profit in the long run no matter who wins. They love it when mug punters have lumped money on the "favourite" and a rank outside5 actually wins. So what if the so-called "bookies' favourite" has lost - they just count up all the losing bets and cry (laugh! ) all the way to the bank.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 May 2016 18:08:44
I was wondering the same thing JCW. I would wet my pants if we got Emery. Mind you, it wouldn't be the first time.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - love it mate..

26 May 2016 18:31:23
You into that sort of thing Ed? I've got a few websites I could suggest.

{Ed025's Note - golden showers are not really my thing coyb.. :)

Who was it who said, "Try anything once except incest and morris dancing? "

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - well certainly morris dancing.. :)

26 May 2016 13:22:45
Hypothetical one here if Zlatan goes to MU do you think Rooney would be surplus to requirements would we be his first port of call.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - it would come down to money i think sa and that would make it a non starter, my feeling is that he will play one more season with utd then end his career in the MLS mate..

26 May 2016 16:05:56
If we are looking to offer £200 million wages to Hart, ok paper talk, but I would not rule Everton out of signing Rooney as his wages could be met, call me a romantic but I have a gut feeling, Rooney will be coming back to Everton.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 May 2016 22:07:12
Eds, from what you have heard or not heard who do you think will get the job out of

Pellegrini, De Boer, Emeri, Moyes and Koeman?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I would discount Koeman and Emery. de Boer is now back in Europe so Everton could now have direct talks with him. The club has spoken with Pellegrini and with Moyes. My feeling it will be one of those three.}

26 May 2016 13:25:06
De Boer or Pellegrini, the fans would be split over Moyes, best to start on a relative high without the aggro of re-integration would be my best guess. The Club/ Board it would appear did take notice of the Fans on Martinez.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 May 2016 18:33:14
So Emery is out of the question?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - not just yet..

26 May 2016 19:16:58

26 May 2016 11:26:23

Warnock talks out of his rear orifice, he knows nothing about our Club and should keep it shut. The bloke that should be credited with improving Lukaku 'beyond recognition' is Big Dunc, simple as.
