I know Rom gave us one more season, but I really think he should wait to see who we bring in, in the Summer, if we do not deliver before the start of the season then no one can begrudge the guy should he still wish to move, we need to get our transfers in early, get some pre season under our belts, make sure most transfers are completed before the start of the new season.

Agree we need to up our Salery to tempt Rom to stay.

What do you guys think to rumoured 40mil + Batshuayi from Chelsea for Lukaku? Not sure I'd value Batshuayi at 30 mil when he can't get a game even when all their strikers are out.

Would rather just take the 70m and pick our own striker, rather than get dictated to by them gobs****.

Top target should be Lacazette. Phenomenal player! Then I would go an get another top striker in that would be relatively cheap.

Defoe would be a very smart signing, as they will go down, we could probably get him for 10/ 15m.

Not sure I value him at £30m, but he is a good player (not getting a game for Chelsea doesn't mean you're bad, literally look at Rom as an example) . Don't really trust our scouts when it comes to strikers (recent history, besides Lukaku, is appalling) so I'd be tempted.

Just saw a Sky video of Bolasie saying "I talk to Rom every day, he's a very ambitious person and that's ok. I'm sure Everton will find a way round it and we will move on". Doesn't sound to me like he's staying beyond the summer to me.
I have to say if we want a goal scorer to replace him I would look a Sturridge, I know a lot of people will say he's injured all the time but so was Darren Fletcher at Man Utd and since he moved to West Brom he hasn't missed a game, sometimes managers say players are out injured because they don't want to play them.
