get stevie back from spurs he want get his game, him an baines back down that left side

Believable12 Unbelievable11

No thanks, i'd rather Arteta playing wide left and coming inside to influence play and create space for Baines

Agree0 Disagree0

Wat would we want that greedy little s**t for?

Agree0 Disagree0

Bang on about arteta coming in from the left. I was at the newcastle game and he was just imperious out there. I say keep him there, Shay on the right, allows room for felli, ossie (must be first team) and cahill in the middle if you want to play 5 but we all want 4 I know.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm South African, and even i can't stand how bloody money hungry that person was to leave us with a gaping hole on the left. Steven Pienaar: "the game against Everton will be the first time i've faced them, i look forward to it" yeah buddy, cus Gareth Bale will be on the bench right? haha as if

Trezeguet on a free. World class striker who has been plying his trade in spanish D2, so wages not too high. Says he wants a challenge not just to sign for a no mark French side. Come on Louis have a word {Ed025's Note - not a bad shout that!..

Believable9 Unbelievable10

Was world class, as was ginola.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Ginola=shampoo adds
trezeguet=goals {Ed025's Note - undoubted quality..

Agree0 Disagree0

Cracking idea that one

Agree0 Disagree0

Trezeguet was great 8 years ago, dont you think its a step backwards.....Bring back super kev to partner him.

Lewis Mcgugan 6 million {Ed025's Note - if he was..6 pound..we would have to pay in installments!

26 Jul 2011 15:24:12
Harry Kewell set to come in for a free transfer and Yobo going the other way back to Turkey.
Also Everton are monitering the progress of Lewis Mcgugan and could make a 7m bid.

Believable7 Unbelievable31

7m, just read on yahoo sport that we couldn t afford to match leeds united bid of 150k for lonergan {Ed025's Note - why does this not surprise me..

Agree0 Disagree0

Lewis Mcgugan could replace any one of a number of players who we could sell for decent fees. I really rate him, {Ed025's Note - someone just posted that we will get sulli muntari!....he would be even better..

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed.
See him at Sunderland? Mcgugan will be worth 20m in two years. {Ed025's Note - ill take your word for it mate...i aint seen enough to form an opinion..

Agree0 Disagree0

Unfortunately, Kewell wouldn't be out of the question. Moyes (for some strange reason) rates him nd has ALLEGEDLY tried to bring him to Everton before. Wages killed the deal in the end and he went to Turkey. I don't like him, even if he'd never played for the sh*te I wouldn't like him.

Besides, have you seen what he was demading to play is Oz?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why ar eyou all posting s**te/where we getting 7mill from we havent got 7 bleedin pence

Agree0 Disagree0

Lewis McGugan is hopeless

Agree0 Disagree0

A Moyes-type player for sure, but hardly likely considering the amount of centre midfielders we already have

We have been linked with jelle vossen, i think he would be a great bargain buy for us. He got 17 goals (top scorer of Belgian league) and 7 assists in 27 games last season and he helped KRC Genk to win the Belgian title.

I think we have lost out on N'Zogbia, Wigan have accepted a £9.5M bid, N'Zogbia is on hols and is expected to discuss personal terms with villa when he return

WHU bid £8m for Shane Long, I doubt it'll get accepted due to Long wanting to be in the Premier League BUT why are we letting all our targets slip away?

Believable14 Unbelievable7

Good cos he isnt worth it if we have 8 mill to spend we defo could get someone better for that price

Agree0 Disagree0

Because we have no money. Thought everyone knew that by now. WE ARE NOT SIGNING ANYONE THIS SUMMER :(

Kenwright on talkradio confirming talks with McGeady and Wayne Bridge.

Believable6 Unbelievable28

Wayne Bridge? Unless we have sold Baines (which we havent) why would we buy a back up left back who is on about 60-70K a week?

Agree0 Disagree0

Who would be silly enough to believe anything about transfers that eminates from Kenwrights mouth. {Ed025's Note - not me for one..

Agree0 Disagree0

Coz a club from a cross the park r get in your lb m8 {Ed025's Note - in yor dreams sunshine!...if leighton was to go..it would be to a big club..

anichebe and barkley to w.ham loan
parker to everton loan?

yobo yak out

sign, 1 0f (carew, s.long, )?

Believable5 Unbelievable23

Cant see Barkley going out on Loan
Hes in Moyes plans for this season trust me

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeh, would imagine at the very least Barkley and Anichebe would be on the bench for our games at the very least. As for Parker, no thanks, central midfield is our strongest position and he would command some hefty wages would imagine, which are better spent elsewhere.

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes expects big things of Anichebe [yet again] i won't hold my breath on that one. Barkley won't go anywhere as he will be part of first team squad - cant wait for a comment from Kenwright thats he's like a new signing {Ed025's Note - we all know what we will get from victor...sod all..like we have the last 2 years, like a new signing...my arse..

Agree0 Disagree0

Got to say, I am not a fan of Big Vic, but he looked half decent in the game she has played in so far this pre season. He even came back to defend the other day {Ed025's Note - anyone can look good in a pre season friendly..even victor!..his contract may be nearly up, or he may fancy a move, so he is really trying....lets hope the latter is true..

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, Anichebi has just signed a new contract for another 4 and 1/2 years in Jan gone. Hope we are not pinning our hopes on him coming good. I have now come to the conclusion we will not be making any signings other than maybe a free. Dont want Harry Fool or James McHasbeen they wont improve our squad.Think Yobo and Yak will both go out on loan and we will go with what we got. InZogbia is a huge miss, with him and Baines we would have had the best attacking left side in the premier league. Think a mid table finish awaits us. will still get behind the boys and hope they prove me wrong. COME ON YOU BLUES. {Ed025's Note - really good post this, you have hit the nail on the head my friend..

If McFadden isn't good enough for Birmingham, I'm pretty sure he's not good enough for our bench

Believable17 Unbelievable8

He was great for Birmingham before he got injured, they just couldn't afford his increased wages or re signing fee that they would have to pay if they took up the option to extend his contract because of cost cutting due to relegation I'd take him in a minute, cant be fussy these days when its clear we don't have money for massive transfer fee's.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not the worst signing in the world (not the best either i agree) but all things considered, getting an international player for free and sitting on the bench is better than risking our immediate future with the kids. i'm 50/50 on this one. would it be a step backwards ? time would tell {Ed025's Note - when you say...not the worst signing in the world...please name who is!

Agree0 Disagree0

ED025 : Per Kroldrup (and i think he cost about £5 million or something silly like that) {Ed025's Note -close...but no cigar...lol..

Hey blues, i think we should resign ourselves to not getting Nzogbia. But thats ok because for the price mentioned i believe we could end up with Landon D. and have a little cash spare. Im not saying it will happen but Moyes loves him and Landon seems to like us. Its got to b a possibility. Also we should accept that we will only sell one player and it will definately be Jags. When Arsenal want someone they tend to get him. I love Jags but at least we wont then sell Baines. Also we wouldnt have to replace Jags because its Rodwells best position. if Chelsea and Utd rate Rodwell so highly then we should think ourselves lucky that we will keep him. Also Jags is 28 so rodwell can offer long term strength for us being only 20.

Believable6 Unbelievable10

Thats what i've said for the past two transfer windows..get Donovan he could alson be the striker we need.

Agree0 Disagree0

At last some1 finally talking sense couldnt agree with you more

Agree0 Disagree0

Get a grip mate...why wud ya wanna sell jags some people aint got a clue how do u no that centre half is rodwells best position when he aint played ther for the first team get bak to ur arm chair and choose ya tatics on champ man

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the Donovan on a permanent deal ship has passed. Because he is so important to the MLS would imagine they would want somewhere in the region of 15mil, and considering he is 29yr old, wouldnt be a smart buy.

Much rather just take him on loan in January again, to give the squad and the fans a little boost towards the end of the season.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to disagree with you there mate. Firstly, arsenal on getting a player when they want him, not true, they wanted jags last year from us and had 2 bids rejected.
Secondly on your suggestion that jags is 28 so im presuming your saying he is old ? He is in his prime and has 4 of the best years coming up in his career so it's best if we keep him as i can see him becoming our captain and gaining a spot in the england starting 11.
Thirdly, how do you know if rodwell best position is centre back, he has never played there in the first team so we don't know if he is and just because he is 20 doesn't mean we should keep him, at the end of the day if we want to move forward and stay in touch with the sides racing for europe unfortunately we need fresh faces and a reliable goalscorer, simple fact is we have to accept that we have to sell to stabilise our thin squad, out of baines, jags, felliani and rodwell my choice to go would have to be rodwell, we wouldn't miss him as much as we would miss the other's. {Ed025's Note - here is a man after my own heart, no we dont want to lose anyone...but if there must be a sacraficial lamb....then its rodders for me!

Agree0 Disagree0

Well i totally agree with that because i reckon n'zogbia wont be good for any other team and we all know that donovan played well for us plus donovan has had a good season with la galaxy so will hopefully wont to achieve his best and come to the premier league

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Jul 2011 11:57:47
I wouldn't worry too much if we don t get N'Zogbia assuming these rumours of a swap deal for Aiden McGeady is on the cards. The Guy is world class and is unarguably the best player I have ever seen. Believe me if Aiden does comes which is a big if considering how well he is doing with Spartak then in a few months time we will be like N Zog who?

Believable8 Unbelievable14

The best player you have ever seen...really?

Agree0 Disagree0

Mcgeady is crap i wouldn't swap Earl Barrat for Him...

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldnt say McGeady is crap but I wouldnt get too excited about being linked to him

Agree0 Disagree0

Would prefer Lewis Holtby to McGeady. But a) I just want to see a natural winger at the club and more importantly b) I just want to see a new signing at the club, have completely forgotten what it feels like to have a new signing

Agree0 Disagree0

I think a certain irish person called aiden has been on this site...

Agree0 Disagree0

I am an Irish blue and McGeady can beat players with ease and is incredibly fast but all to often his final ball and decision making is appalling. Sometimes he will amaze you and other times he will have you will be pulling ur hair out. If Moyes can get the best out of him on a regular basis could have a big asset but that wont be easy even for Moyes. {Ed025's Note - thanks lad...this is what i have been told..

Agree0 Disagree0

You havent seen many players then...

Agree0 Disagree0

McGeady has a lot of flair but he CANNOT cross a ball

Thanks, are you BK or DM

If Nzogbia does close deal with Villa......
Stephen Ireland will have to go....
You think Moysey wants Stephen Ireland??
Its a logical thought not a rumour

Believable7 Unbelievable11

Where would you play him and who would you bench?

Hi Steve.
No I was putting it out there as a plausable move..
He would be in the 5 on 4-5-1

Why does everyone want to sell one of the most exciting prospects in English football in Rodwell I cannot understand why anyone would want to sell him - He is a class act. We should try and sell Billy and Heitinga to raise some cash Next you will be trying to sell Ross Barkley

Believable11 Unbelievable4

That's what I've been saying, it's a dangerous game getting shut of Rodwell in favour of Fellani as his dad is a liability and we could be without both in a year if we sell Jack this summer. We don't seem to appreciate our own home grown players as much as some of our foriegn signings.

Andy

Agree0 Disagree0

The man utd cameo at home few seasons ago, , , in the past 18months including the euros under 21's name me one good game rodwell has had? fact

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes not done enough for me to say keep him to be honest

Steve J (Blue Nose)

Agree0 Disagree0

Barkley impressed me more in the 2 games that I have seen him, than Rodwell ever has

If we only bring in a striker before the season starts I will be happy

Bily looks ready and raring to go, as does Vic {Ed025's Note - barkley does look good mate, and yes..i would love a striker...but billy still seems light-weight to me, and dont get me started on vic...

Agree0 Disagree0

You mention rodwell's last game being 18mths ago he has played well in spells since then between injuries. He's been more useful in that spell then mikel sadly. Get shut of the fringe players Billy, yak, yobo, johnny h, and please big vic none of which we'd miss if anyone would like to give us cash for them. {Ed025's Note - it finding takers mate....

I fully agree about Moyes.
He will not be here much longer if his ambition is again frustrated.
I know every fan in the place wants him to stay, but, unless Everton claim an honour THIS season, Moyes will go
Other teams, well below us in the division, have been spending money like wildfire on rubbish.
We don't appear to have that money, and I'm talking Billions here
We need a billionaire Someone who has no idea at all about football, witness Blackburn Rovers
The sad thing is, although we have a first class Premiership side, nobody with money seems to know

Believable10 Unbelievable1

Are you for real? Blackburn? There owners bought them for £24m and sold a player for £21m. They have made noises about signing players they have no itention of signing and spent nothing.

Additionally the reason noone has bought us is because of the ground. Needs millions spent on it just to keep the same capacity. Billionaires only buy football clubs as either a play thing (if they like football) or to make money (if they no nothing about it). How can we offer value as a good investment?

26 Jul 2011 03:08:43
Aston villa supposed to of snatched n'zogbia....9.5m bargain..

Believable10 Unbelievable2

Surprise, surprise He was hardley snatched, as we just did the usual, BK blag offer to apese the fans. I really did get the feeling that he wanted to come to the blues but has obviously got fed up waiting. It's his loss though cos Villa are going to do nothing fxck all under McLeish. The bick Eck is not fit to clean Moyes'ey's boots.

If we can tie down fellaini on a new contract then we can sell rodwell. we need new players in the squad, get n'zogbia and a striker, maybe adebayor if we can sell rodwell for 20m. I think people forget fallaini is still relatively young.

Believable8 Unbelievable6

At last Ive been saying this for ages Rodwell is 20, Feliani is still only 22...... we can afford to let rodwell go, he's going to be a terrific player but to look after ourselves for the next couple of seasons, it makes sense to let rodwell go if we can get 20 million.
Then we would have something to go off, at least a striker, that's all were missing at the minute, it's been missing for the last 2 season's really Sell him and sort ourselves out now before we fall even futher behind {Ed025's Note - i agree with you mate..i like rodders..but sometimes..needs must..

Agree0 Disagree0

Adebeyor would be a no go, no one is forgetting fellaini's age, he wanted to quit last season and was injured, he still has a bright good future here

Agree0 Disagree0

Completely agree, if Fellaini doesnt want to sign a contract extension this summer, then sell him, because he has 2yrs left and we could still get full price for him, but come next summer it would be significantly less. If he signs then we could afford to sacrifice Rodwell for 20mil as I deel he is expendable especially after the performance of Ross Barkley who should be getting game time this year. Really wish people would stop harping on about N'Zogbia, he isnt coming to Everton, there are still plenty of options, and one is Lewis Holtby, cant believe we havent gone after this lad, cheap, young and quality, is that not what we want at Everton? Imagine a midfield in the future of
Gueye----Fellaini-----Barkley-----Holtby

Now that will be a quality midfield.

As for Adebayor, he is on 100K a week, so he is definetly out of the question, wouldnt mind someone like Defoe who has a proven goalscoring record in this league

Agree0 Disagree0

Defoe would be fantastic for the blues, i would take a chance on bellamy
