Moyes spends 10 years at Everton saying its wrong to talk about players at other clubs and then sits there and openly discusses his new clubs bid for Fabregas. I'm sorry, but it is poor form from the man. Desperate to make an impact maybe but he always seemed to have more class than that. I take from it, that our club is one of the very few left in the game that are honest. We should cherish that. COYB.

Cardiff gave a bid excepted for capoue. we should bid

Believable3 Unbelievable1

What do we bid with brass buttons?

Agree1 Disagree0

Capone said dosent want to join them so everton could have a chance {Ed025's Note - he would get done for tax evasion again though jamie.. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

How can Cardiff bid though they are not that rich? {Ed025's Note - they have hocked the club to the hilt, they may pay for it in the long run..

----DONE DEAL----
Everton have agreed an £18m fee for the transfer of Leighton Baines to Manchester United. He is discussing personal terms and under going a medical tomorrow. This is the reason he is not joining the squad on the trip to the USA.

The insider.

Believable4 Unbelievable37

A good if true though i'll be sorry to see him go but at 28 coming on 29 we will never see that kind of money for him again.

Agree1 Disagree1

I hope not, especially how Martinez has publicly said that there has been no bids. Wouldn't be a good start to his new relationship with the fans if he's being dishonest {Ed025's Note - i dont think it would be bobby being dishonest fluffy, things like that would be done over his head mate..

Agree1 Disagree0

Any truth in this story ed {Ed025's Note - not that i know of mate, but it would be foolish to rule it out..

Agree0 Disagree0

So today RM confirms no bids have been received and now all of a sudden a deal has been done and LB is having a medical. I suppose stretch is having a medical at the same time is he.

Agree0 Disagree0

Every indication, from the player, the manager, and the club, has been that this is not happening, as late as this mornings press conferance, there was a rejection of any notion of a deal, so unless the deal was done at the funeral of the cannon ball kid, this is crap.

Agree0 Disagree0

Need at least 20 Million for the best left back in the premier league!

Agree1 Disagree0

He is worth more than that were do people get this crap from RB wants to build a champs league side so why sell our best players and hasn't LB said he is looking forward to working with the new gaffer

Agree1 Disagree0

What are you inside mate, a yellow submarine?

Agree1 Disagree0

Garbage!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Spoof

Agree0 Disagree0

I can smell the reds**** in this comment, probably annoyed because they r about to lose their best player Suarez & somehow feel it unfair that we have thus far managed to keep our best players!

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason Baines hasn't pushed for a move to United is because he can't stand David Moyes. There's no secret Moyes had a few fallings out with members of staff before he left and apparently Leighton wasn't happy about the way some of his team mates were treated. Baines is stuck with the decision to push a move to the champions and work for a man he can't stand or stay at a club he loves. Was told this from a former player still heavily involved/employed by the club at a football dinner of former players.

Agree2 Disagree1

Baines out of game on sat with injury so might be true!

Agree0 Disagree0

Baines doesn't get injured. {Ed025's Note - i know he is like superman...but all players get injured..

Agree0 Disagree0

Greeg O'Keefe said he is out of the Blackburn game with a minor injury but is still travelling with the squad to the champions cup in the USA. He is not joining Manchester United.

Agree0 Disagree0

It looks like he's out of the Blackburn game with a hip injury but should be fit for the tour of the US, according to Greg O Keeffe

Not sure I read right but Scharner is claiming interest from us. this is shocking if its true, please put me out of my misery with this lol

Believable1 Unbelievable33

He did say we offered him a 3 year contract after the cup final and he's 33 now. Glad he knocked us back

Agree0 Disagree1

With dunc on the coaching staff haha

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we offer him a deal after cup final when we didn't even have a manager. he must be on something ha!

Agree1 Disagree0

Its crap. It says Martinez offered him the deal. even though he wasn't our manager.

Agree0 Disagree0

You know it's as we would never offer a player that old a 3 year deal.

Why do people want matri for 10m when he's only a year younger than kone who people were complaining about spending 6m on when he scored more goals and had more assists in a worse team in a better league than matri

Believable18 Unbelievable0

25 Jul 2013 19:05:20
Mathieu flamini could be an option for everton with the club set to offer a 1 yr deal

Believable7 Unbelievable12

Wouldn't be bad cover although wages may be a problem as I heard Milan wanted to keep him but he turned them down

Agree0 Disagree0

Hasn't he got a ropey knee? Could be why Milan are not renewing his contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

OHEFB Milan tried to renew his contract, (for 1 year) but he rejected. Either for money or more playing time, probably the latter.

Seen kenwright at Runcorn train station this afternoon spoke to him for a couple of mins he said felli and baines are staying put. He's got full confidence in Martinez succeeding at Everton and. incoming players will be signed if Martinez wants any after the tour of the USA

Believable16 Unbelievable11

Why would Kenwright be at Runcorn station, was his driver having a day off.

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe what you said he said but not that you saw him and he said that

Agree0 Disagree0

Wasn't there a small matter of dave hicksons funeral today so can't see BK at Runcorn station can you

Johnnyblueboy

Agree1 Disagree0

Why would Kenwright be at Runcorn station? Was he jumping the train to town? {Ed025's Note - maybe he was building a platform for us to keep on the right tracks, or he might have gone off the rails, or maybe a new centre mid in our engine room from locomotive, which would be just the ticket!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha ed, you're just stoking the rumours

Agree0 Disagree0

If your going to London by train Runcorn is used by many high profile passengers due to the 1st class passenger lounge and car parking. Lfc go 1st class from there when playing the London teams. With the funeral on today he could have been coming or going but I don't think he is a regular on virgin trains.

Agree2 Disagree0

He is see I him every Saturday home game

Do you think we will keep jelavic ed? I hope so class on his day {Ed025's Note - bobby will assess him ryan, and take it from there mate..

Believable8 Unbelievable0

Why do we insist that Jelavic is class? Middle of Jan - Middle of May he banged in goals for 4 months, then August - May he was utter dogsh*t.

18 months he's been at Everton and he only performed for 4 of those. Rangers were defo onto something getting shut of him.

Get rid of him while we can I say, his price is only going to plummet.

Personally, I don't think we will sign Ince as Martinez has made it clear it multiple interviews that he is looking for players with the right attitude, which from what i've heard Ince doesn't appear to have.

We all know that Moyes was famous for holding grudges against players, like Vellios getting banished to the dungeons for daring to ask for more playing time. I'm sure Barkley, Duffy and Big Vic have similar stories. But does anyone remember Moyes falling out with Cesc Fabregas over comments he made to a ref that 'questioned Moyes' integrity'? Nobody does that, by the way. So call me crazier than a bag of weasels, but I think it would be hilarious for Utd to buy Fabregas as an opportunity for Moyes to get his long festering revenge and bench Fabregas for the whole season. It might happen, you never know.

Believable7 Unbelievable5

I think you are crazier than a bag of weasles. Lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Not bothered about moyes only care about everton

Agree0 Disagree0

Who cares about Moyes and Man Utd, hope they win Jack.

Ed I've seen you say you don't want Ince but are we even in genuine talks with Blackpool? {Ed025's Note - it seems like we have made inquiries about his availability..

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Doubt we'll make a bid

Agree0 Disagree0

What would we want him for, we've already got better players and it's a striker we need especially if Jelavic is going. If he was so good the RS would of got him by now.

Agree0 Disagree0

I see there's a few posts appearing about us signing Matri from Juventus. I watch a lot of Serie A on ESPN & do enjoy watching Juve. Whilst Matri is a decent player, (a big Brit style centre forward with a good eye for goal), the figure of £14m is way too much! I wouldn't mind him at Goodison but £5m is the max I think he's worth. Also, he's a bit too similar to Kone. I would much rather us ask Juve about Giovinco. He's another striker, but of a completely different type. He's small, tricky, skilful with a thunderous shot & really good link up play. I think he would work much better with Kone & could be cheaper than Matri &, I believe, he's on lower wages.

Believable11 Unbelievable0

Little Seb Giovinco would be a fantastic signing for us. Would love to see him play just behind Kone rather than Matri along side him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Giovinco is Italia top class golden boy. I think he is no interesting to join us.

Agree0 Disagree0

I rate him too, Tezza. Giovinco is a good player, but I think he's valued at around £16M and Matri closer to £10M. Giovinco has never been popular at Juve with the fans and was accused of being weak in attacking defenders and easily tackled. But on loan to Parma in the same position, he was world class. Could be a player who is very dependent on his comfort at a club and he might not respond well to the pressures of the EPL. Oh and from what I've seen, he sticks his tongue out a hell of a lot while he plays. Not really a problem unless he gets elbowed in the face by a burley centre back.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not being funny, but generally, Italian players die on their feet in this league

Aquilani looked like a world beater to the RS. He was more like an Eggbeater when played against more physical opponents.

Just saying.

Dave M

Agree0 Disagree0

Juventus have bought him fully outright this season, so we won't have a chance with him

sound ed, just wondered if you could give us the chances of signing the following players: soldado, hoisiner, mcgeady, ince, Kone (the young defender), alderweirld and matri {Ed025's Note - 3..4..3..7..4..5..5..just my opinion mate..

Believable2 Unbelievable2

God I hope you are wrong with the Ince signing rated at 7 Ed he is the pits

I think either Kone or alderweireld will sign if we can offload johnny. And Ince looks likes it happening, although he's hit and miss. We need a powerful midfielder Diame/Malanda

Tom Ince to Sign for Everton in the next week or so. Around 8 Millions mark, could rise to 10.

Believable0 Unbelievable12

Overpriced chadil was 7 Moses is available for 8 mirallas was 6 sinclairs going for 4 all are better than ince

Agree0 Disagree0

Get real will u!

Agree0 Disagree0

Please stop talking about Ince, we don't want him and certainly don't want to be putting money into the other lots coffers. Stay well clear of the horrible little red nose.

Hope not mate. This guy is overrated.

Agree0 Disagree0

He plays football on Wirral once a week with his friends 6 a side team too, I've been seeing him there for over a year, he's always around the merseyside area

Martinez trying to do a deal for saldado very good friends with him although we can't afford the fee up front Bk is coming up with a package to meet the buy out clause 20million up front and 6million to follow in January you heard this first only snag is saldado wants champ league football but will put that on hold for a season as he sees what's happening at everton is massive those words have come from saldado's agent

Believable6 Unbelievable13

Soldado's buyout clause is £26m. In order to activate it, you have to pay the full amount upfront, not in installments.

Agree0 Disagree1

Jackson Martinez same price. Another good choice. Now talking to Fat Waiter.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, rightio then.

Agree0 Disagree0

OH MY STARS!!!

This is the most ridiculous rumour I've EVER heard on here.

Delusional.

Everton want to sign Spartak Moscow winger Aiden McGeady for £6 million after he rejected a new contract offer from his club. McGeady wants to play in England, however Everton are also interested in his services.

Believable3 Unbelievable13

I can back this up, I have russian students and they have told me talks are at an advanced level. By the way, they (the supporters) don't want him to go. Fast and a great crosser they tell me. I think he will be quite similar to super Kev though.
Steve the blue

Agree0 Disagree0

I sincerely hope he doesn't come here, he's a one-trick pony with no end product, a headless chicken. For similar money we could've got Chadli. There's plenty of youngsters abroad who are better and would cost less or similar.

Agree0 Disagree0

I really hope we don't get him! Better players around for that sort of money. Seen him playing international few weeks back & wasn't impressed.

Agree0 Disagree0

*Newcastle are also interested

Agree0 Disagree0

Ive heard we are in talks but not sure if we want to pay the £6 mil fee.

Agree0 Disagree0

Watch him all the time with our national team. one of the few players in the world that can go past people with ease I mean 2 or 3 defenders together then what does he do. kick the ground when crossing. fall over. miss hit the ball. in other words fantastic dribbler but no end produce. very rarely scores

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2013 08:48:02
According to twitter we are genuinely in talks with Blackpool over one of their players and it's obvious to me that it's Ince.
