Thorgan Hazard (Eden's younger brother) being linked now - lad's had a decent season in Germany. One to watch maybe.
Few in the Ajax team that could do a job.

That Sanchez at the back is a beast - but from what I heard last night it's the very very top for him this summer (Real, Chelsea or Bayern) . i'd transplant a lot of them Ajax players - I know they froze a little but most of them under 25. Wow

Ed - Is there any real interest in Dolberg and Klaassen? Or is it all pretend footy managers?

TA.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained that there is interest but there is a lot of interest from others.}

Sanchez turned down Barcelona to go to Ajax. he knows he won't get first team games for a while so I wouldn't expect him to go anywhere just yet.

Hi Ed any info on the defender Cuco Martina from Southampton, sources saying he flew in from Amsterdam for talks with Everton, cheers GuernseyBlue.

{Ed002's Note - He is out of contract and the club has been showing interest again.}

Some people on hear would make good journalists.
Koeman said he was meeting board on on Monday and a statement would be made.
So why are people expecting a statement Monday or Tuesday, try and listen to RK instead of googling Everton everyday and reading the rags.

It was said Barclay had till the Arsenal game to give EFC his decision . Everton should have by Wed evening in everyone's interest said either way what was happening.
By not doing so I think your contributor is saying they are weakening their position making it look like they are desperate to molly Codel him . It's like a cheating partner " don't do that again or I will leave you " Week later no change and it goes on .
He making a FOOL OF MY CLUB and they contributing to it.

Hello Ed pal,

Curious on in your opinion if Ajax qualify for champions league, wil this have an effect on Ajax not to sell in the summer? Due to the money coming via champions league qualification.

Only ask as I really fancy this klassen lad at Ajax would like to see him in the number 10 or 8 shirt next season. But thinking if they qualify he may not feel the need to move on.

Also is that Bertrand traore at Ajax likely to go back to Chelsea he is an exciting player an wouldn't mind him.

Thanks

Everton the gear.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - It won't make much difference as Ajax want to keep hold of Davy Klaassen. A number of sides will look to try and persuade them to sell regardless.}

I think we need to get a grip on things, ' an announcement on barkleys future will be made Monday '. 'Everton will no longer make an an announcement on Monday '. Heard nothing today. We're becoming a laughing stock. If we wanna become a top respected side again who are going to attract decent players we need the club to be run properly, I've got a bad feeling that things aren't running smoothly behind the scenes.

For goodness sake-please try to keep some sort of perspective on these events! I think Everton FC are a long long way from "becoming a laughingstock" . On the contrary, as has already been said, we tend to be seen as a well run club which generally does the right thing and is making genuine progress. None of us know what is happening with Ross Barkley-and that's probably just how it needs to be!

Some blues just like to criticise the club whatever they do. You not think Barkley and his agent may have something to do with this?
You really expect it to be like TF deadline day as the clock ticks down to 'right he's sold'

This should be the most exciting summer we have had in many years. Put the negativity away and try to enjoy it.

😂😂😂😂 beer and football 2 things that bring our inner deepest passion out we have all been there including me tonight as my kopite mate is coming around to watch the final which should be fun as after 10 or so beers we like to let's just say have a lively conversation about just how deluded they are.

To be fair if you read what Koeman actually said vs what the media reported they are two completely different things.

He said that he was meeting with the board on Monday and that a statement would be made. He said the meeting was happening on Monday, not that a statement would be made on Monday.

Sorry I agree with Olleblue but not suprised at you all defending the club it's like as if you are ridiculed if you say anything negative .
I posted something similar on Everton Banter
Sorry but we are extremely slow at making any statements we dither we make transfers at the last minute that go wrong .
As for Barclay EFC should have given him his marching orders 5 pm on Sunday night no excuses he should have signed months ago
He will find as I am now hearing he has lost sympathy with nearly all supporters.

The only reason to make a statement would be to say he's signed the contract. If he hasn't then releasing a statement to confirm that would drastically reduce what we'd get for him because potential suitors would know that he wants out and we want him out.

Based on that, if we did make a statement to say he hasn't signed a contract and we're selling him, I'd say that would make us a massive laughing stock.

Can't understand why people are so concerned about what happens with him. I'd rather have £25m in the bank to spend on a player who turns quicker than the QE2 anyway. Even if he does stay I reckon we'll bring in someone better and more consistent anyway so he wouldn't be first choice. I can't spend another season hoping we'll finally see the player that we all think is in there, but getting frustrated.

The club are in no position to give him his marching orders. If he wants to stay there is nothing the club can do about it. Besides that, whether he stays or not, we will be finding replacements this summer.

Ha ha it's not really defending the club trebor more just repeating exactly what the transcript said and not what the papers wrote.

Gotta agree with Toffee Ace too. Releasing a statement saying that we are selling him would probably not be wise.
