Staying at the hilton in liverpool!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope not don't rate him rather us go for WBA Shane long.dont think Doyle is any betr then big vic bluejack {Ed025's Note - i agree with you mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Wud rather play naismith up top! aliblueboy

Agree0 Disagree0

Doyle is a decent player but I'd rather see us make a statement of intent and try get a kaka or villa on loan, a bit of a fantasy I know but it'd give the team and the fans some boost and that alone might be enough to see us to that fourth spot.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would rather have long but think moyes is a fan of Doyle has tried before to sign him, think he's a moyes type player will run and work hard for the team

Agree0 Disagree0

Doyle is not good enough for us not young enough and would be a waste of whatever money we have to spend on players no thanks Bill said the last two transfer rumours that he wasn't a target and there definately wouldn't be any deal what's changed since then not his footballing ability for sure no thanks

Agree0 Disagree0

So he's in the Hilton yes? Funny because vadis odjija ofoe has been playing for us for 2 weeks from the same BS stories of him staying in a hotel and about to complete a medical don't buy it and hope we don't buy Doyle he's not good enough

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry but this is bull! No way is he good enough!

Agree0 Disagree0

Am going bed now and say a prayer that this is utter bull Doyle is not gud enuff for the prem especially us nxt sighting pleaz also av you ever erd ov Specsavers

Agree0 Disagree0

Doyle is the new Riquelme, how many more windows can we be linked with him?! :o

Agree0 Disagree0

Definitely need more firepower but do we really think Doyle is the answer I thinks not
Would rather have graham or Odenwinge would both out score Doyle in this side {Ed025's Note - im with you mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Kevin Doyle
Juan Roman Riquelme
Wagner Love

How many times??
Dave M {Ed025's Note - still loads yet dave..

BBC said we were, in fact the unnamed Premier League club that made a bid for M'Vila...apparently it was something like £6.3mil, rising to £6.6mil. I dunno if it was accepted or rejected, but it's irrelevant now anyway because he's signed for Rubin Kazan.
Murf

Believable16 Unbelievable9

The article says he would of prefered to of joined us which I found interesting

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes apparently it was £3.3M up front so we must have some cash available....most of the rest was based on us qualifying the CL

Agree0 Disagree0

Get real lads he was sold for £9.3 mill aparently we bid 6 anyone remember we bid for Alan smith from leeds but about 8 mill under what he went for. We may as well bid £2 double for messi and ronaldo. At least were bidding which aftet all is token gestures blue buck

Everton will sign Capoue on deadline day for 8.5m rising to 12m! Also a striker to come in on loan next week!

Believable20 Unbelievable30

Your source? personter? Chances are last day deals but I do have faith in Moyes but I don't anyone knows apart from him who he wants to sign

Agree0 Disagree0

A club scout claims we have been eyeing this lad since summer, a preferred option to M'Bia as he is younger and has impressed at both Centre Half and Centre Mid

My dream as well....
IMWT AJ

Agree0 Disagree0

Could be some truth to this. Vadis has disappeared completely off the radar, it seems. If our first choice was M'Vila then this Capoue kid could be next in line, they're all similar players. If all else fails then we could go back in for Vadis. Makes sense ...? Please Bill

Agree0 Disagree0

Completely agree with the Vadis comments, he practically signed in summer but missed the deadline so surely if we were keen to take him it would of been wrapped up by now especially once Gibson got injured.

heard we have made enquires about tom huddlestone, good player and would slot in the team easily {Ed025's Note - not for me mate, but thats just my opinion..

Believable6 Unbelievable24

I've always liked Huddlestone..great passing range and technique...although is very much a Gibson-type player and I'd rather have our Gibbo to be honest..having said that, IMWT! Whatever the Moyesiah does in the transfer market, I'll back it!

Murf

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance of spurs loaning us anyone while we're challenging for fourth.TomD {Ed025's Note - good point that tom..

Agree0 Disagree0

He's got a first touch like a tree-stump.

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard it was a done deal... He had dinner with nevilles last week... Could be mates but unlikely..

Agree0 Disagree0

Would slot into our team? where? giving felli hair care tips?

Agree0 Disagree0

Must agree with you Ed..

According to sky, Birmingham have lowered their asking price for Jack Butland to try and generate premier league interest. It was around £6.5 but is believed to now be around half of that!

JG

Believable13 Unbelievable6

A goalkeeper is not a priority so why waste money. {Ed025's Note - im with you mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he's worth buying, he would be good cover for howard, and when howard packs it in he will be quality, if not could sell later for twice or three times we payed for him

Agree0 Disagree0

If that's the case I'm baffled. that boys worth more than 6.5. He's the next England goalie for sure. Cjtefc

Agree0 Disagree0

BUY HIM THEN SELL HIM NEXT WINDOW FOR £10M, INSTENT PROFIT .

Agree0 Disagree0

Should Buy Its a No Brainer

Agree0 Disagree0

Dropped price because they have no money, and at the end of the day, some money coming in is better than none

News, something surely even slightly realistic, ANYTHING??? Please just give us something to chew on for a bit that is not totally made up nonsense!

Believable14 Unbelievable3

Sit tight and stay positive lad am sure moyes will pull something out the bag. Well that's how I sleep at night anyways. LIAM!!

Agree0 Disagree0

President obama is back in office

Agree0 Disagree0

I ask for this last week...anything please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

George

Agree0 Disagree0

This darikwa at centerfield sounds possible. not earth shattering or exactly what we need but some youth and pace in the squad is always positive. fingers crossed for vadis as well, got a feeling that may come up late again. loans are usually a last minute thing so there's still hope!

We made a bid for M'vila, and he prefferred a move to us, but rubin kazan offered more.. On BBC

Believable17 Unbelievable1

Good to know that we ARE trying to do business, though it also appears to back up the theory that what we're looking at at the minute is loan options that could turn into permanent deals. There's nothing wrong with that, of course, but it might limit what's available to us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is this another Owen & Shearer bid so common with the Everton board? Newcastle bid £15m for shearer, we offer £10!
Newcastle bid £17m for Owen, we offer £7m
Blackburn offer £6m for Sutton, we offer £3m.... Common thread here!
Dave M {Ed025's Note - lighten up a bit dave...the club has moved on from then...i suggest you do the same..

Agree0 Disagree0

It is encouraging that we're chipping away at some deals and also that we were offering 3.3 million in this window which tells me there is some funds there.its also good to know that mvila's preferred destination was us and he was willing to earn less to join us.it shows our stock is rising in Europe, it's just a pity we couldn't find the extra couple of million required to sign a genuine talent like him who would of immediately made us a better team ands very serious challenger for fourth spot.TomD

Bill is in London, Flew in this morning via Helicopter. Not sure he's here for the shopping, pretty sure he was with Jonny H and his agent.

According to reports... Birmingham are broke and have lowered the asking price of Jack Butland from 6m to 3.5m...

Surely moyesy will sign him up as backup for howard! Howard has no competition whatsoever..

Believable12 Unbelievable3

24 Jan 2013 13:55:11
Butland wants first team football. Would you really replace Howard with him straight away?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes! Use the money we were going to use for M'Vila on Butland, one or two more loans and maybe another permanent signing! I'd like to see Odjidja-Ofoe and a striker come in!

Murf

Agree0 Disagree0

Think Howard needs replacing soon anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets hope so.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tim howard got a few years left yet. goalkeepers can play until 40 no worries. back 4 play as big a part in leaking goals. team effort lads.

EFC have prevented Leeds United from playing Ross Barkley in their FA Cup clash with Spurs, I assume to prevent him from becoming cup tied. Does this mean he will play for us in the cup?

TT

Believable11 Unbelievable3

Its called, moyes keeping his options open, its not saying ross is gaurenteed an fa cup run out for us

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm guessing it just means that we'd like to have that option.

Believable17 Unbelievable6

Made up distin signed up but would of been better if we got him to sign a longer one.
