I think felli has it in his head now about going to chelsea, in my opinion this might not be a bad think as long as we play it smart and demand lukaku is part of the deal. I 100% agree with bailey about wingers and 2 up top we look so slow at times. I would like to see us move for james mccarthy at wigan this guy is going to be a super player and only 22 also i'd take scott sinclair from city they paid 6 mil for him youd probably get him for half that now. Your midfield and attack would look something like this:
sinclair, mccarthy, gibson, mirrallas
lukaku, jelavic
Personally I think this would give us pace and power.
bluepaddy. {Ed007's Note - James McCarthy is a fantastic player Paddy, I've watched him since he was 13/14 at Hamilton Accies. I was really disappointed that Celtic didn't sign him when he left and since he joined Wigan and played in the EPL, I have been saying he would revitalise the Man Utd midfield just with his sheer energy alone.

Also if moyes did walk and say martinez was installed that might increase the chances of mccarthy I would think

Quite possibly the most sensible post we've had on here for months. Another name I would like to put forward is Grant Hanley from Blackburn for CB, he was getting rave reviews a couple of years back before they went down, he seems to have slipped off the radar now he is learning his trade in the Championship.
Couldn`t see Chelsea using Lukaku as part of the deal. They paid 10 mill for him which could rise to 17 mill with add ons. At 19, he looks an absolute beast of a player, don`t think Chelsea would entertain that IMO.
