Apparently we want rafa alcantara on loan. Thiago alcantara's brother

Believable4 Unbelievable10

In other words you read in the paper that he might go on loan if Thiago goes to Man Utd

Apparently arsenal met Fellaini's buyout clause a few weeks ago and in advance talks on personal terms. however Fellaini has said he has already turned down an approach by Arsenal which offered him £70. 000 a week, which is less than he's already. looks like he'll go if he gets £80. 000 a week

Believable7 Unbelievable12

I think we are already paying him £70. 000 a week so it will be like arteta does he want to go for cl football resenses? Or does he want to stay on the money and be a club hero!

Agree0 Disagree0

He's currently £75. 000 a week

Agree0 Disagree0

I find it highlt unlikely that Everton are in a position to pay Fellani or anyone else 70-80k a week.

the only honda we'll be seeing at goodison park this season will be a honda placcy 50cc (blue and white one of course) doris the tea lady's new wheels.

b. t. a. p

Believable12 Unbelievable8

Ha ha ha ha ha. hysterical, you should be on the telly!

Agree0 Disagree0

And even that will be bought on finance

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats the point? We've got a decent chance of signing him. sick to death of "fans" constantly rubbishing our transfers and attempts to sign people as though we will never be able to attract anyone of quality. If your a true blue then have faith and don't slag us off

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 22:09:54
Iam not lieing guys honestly Fellaini Baines jagielka jelavic Naismith and anichebe r going

Becky Gorman

Believable7 Unbelievable22

Stop lying where u hearing this begin boring now

23 Jun 2013 23:07:57
Maybe you're not but you've been hugely misinformed

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 23:24:37
Will you go away, Your boring and ye must be a kopite or an 8 year old who stole her dads phone apologies for the language ed please post this you havn't posted my last 2 replies to her post for some reason {Ed025's Note -

Agree0 Disagree0

U so sad. go back to your kop.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ye they r because me & my 10yr lad are signing to replace them all. Lol. Do 1 with your bs will ya! Ps (please)

Agree0 Disagree0

You are funny, give you that

Agree0 Disagree0

Why was this even posted, they forgot to mention we are about to sign 5 blue super man from the planet.

Agree0 Disagree0

Made up name, made up rumour as if we sell the whole of are team nearly, BK wouldn't make it out the city

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2013 08:43:20
well I got to agree with one. anybody please just take nasmith. anybody???. ah come on. we'll pay them.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it could be true, the playing staff need a complete overhaul and selling some big names raises funds.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think what's she's trying to say is all of the above are going- on the preseason tour of the States along with several others.

Agree0 Disagree0

Load ofrubbish baines is meeting Kenwright today to discuss a new contract

Agree0 Disagree0

Jags already statwd he's staying

Agree0 Disagree0

How do you know Baines is meeting kenwright chatting rubbish again

Becky Gorman

Agree0 Disagree0

Think the text got chopped off here.
Next part is "play even better next year and lead us to the Champions League".

Could see maybe one of those going if we got a decent offer

Agree0 Disagree0

She has a point. We are going to sell big names but only a couple not 4 or 5

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2013 13:08:40
'How do you know baines is meeting kenwright today chatting rubbish again' your one to talk about chatting rubbish arn't you? Martinez has said himself baines will be offered a new contract those words came from his mouth google it if you want

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you should put the Araldite back in the draw Becky, it's not good for you in the short term, or long term for that matter.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just because he's offered a new contract does not mean he will sign it, footballers are in it for themselves no loyalty in football if a big deal comes along he's gone, reality

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2013 15:33:46
There is loyalty in football last time I remeber bayern munich offered baines 2 verbal agreements to join them and he turned them down and matt le tissier had dozens of offers from big clubs but chose to stay at southampton, loyalty does exist in football and baines will not be going anywhere

Agree0 Disagree0

Verbal agreement? that's a rumour these days and matt le tiss retired years ago, we say it every week, every player has his price, if baines is being offered a new contract = more money

Agree0 Disagree0

Would it really be the end of the world if we sold these players {Ed025's Note - yes!!

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2013 17:29:56
Roy keane?, wilshere has said he will never leave arsenal and I believe him, carragher? Etc. These players have loyalty and baines will not leave oh did I forget jagielka? Could earn twice as much at arsenal and play cl but chose to stay here, football is about money but there is a select few players who are loyal and leighton baines is one of them

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont agree eds, we could raise a significant amount of money for a war chest for roberto. No player is bigger than the club {Ed025's Note - no they are not, but if you want to succeed in football...you dont sell your best players, thats for certain..

Agree0 Disagree0

Eds do you not think we've seen the best out of the big three names and its time to cash in. We could pay off some debt and still bring in some quality signings with what's left {Ed025's Note - not for me..

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you say jags was offered double money at arsenal its paper talk. Fans don't know what players are offered, i'm not saying he's going to leave but don't be blinded by the word loyalty

Agree0 Disagree0

People on here talking about loyalty most of these players have left smaller clubs to come to everton. They probably now see it as the time to cash in and move on to a big club. Weve got to be realistic

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2013 20:30:49
Yes left smaller clubs like barnsley in john stones' case but he is 19 and when he is being told how special he can be you don't stay at barnsley, we are hardly a small club currently challenging top 5 maybe top 4 spot who would these players leave us for chelsea? can't see any of our players getting in their team with mourinho there, city have enough players in each position they just signed fernandinho so why buy fellaini? And utd? Come on even our players must know how negative he is plus didn't jagielka just sign a new deal? If he was planning on pissing off to somewere else why sign? What just for the sake of it? Nah mate be realistic because baines is going nowhere and the only players potentially going are fellaini and hopefully victor

Agree0 Disagree0

Jags going nowhere, because he signed a new contract? hasn't fellaini signed a new deal I quite recently, with a buy out vlause. Be realistic stop burrying your hesd

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2013 22:56:22
Has a jags release clause been revealed? No

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 21:55:17
Ed do you think RM is using commentating on the confederations cup to scout players or do you think its more realistic that our summer signings are going to be want away Wigan players that he is familiar with? {Ed025's Note - he is scouting ray..

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Hopefully watching Honda.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its a bit like shopping at Harrods isn't it?. Lots of good things on display, but not enough money to buy them.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 21:36:42
We need to sign lorenzo insigne

Believable6 Unbelievable10

We need to sign Lionel Messi.

Agree0 Disagree0

He will be too dear

Agree0 Disagree0

With cavani looking very likely that he will leave Napoli there is no way they would let Insigne go he would get a look in with cavani gone and if there was a price to get him it would be far too expensive

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 21:15:05
Toulouse full back Serge Aurier claims Everton have shown interest in him. Anyone rate this guy? And how come so many rumours link Us with defenders? We need strikers, plural.

Believable6 Unbelievable4

He's a right back, what's wrong with Seamus?

Agree0 Disagree0

Was quite highly regarded a couple of years ago, but has died down since. Presumably hasn't improved much during that time. Still, quick and strong which is good, but with coleman, Hibbert and stones, why would we need another rb?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do we need a RB? because Coleman is still learning defensively, Hibbo has suspect fitness and Stones is totally untested at this level.

We need a stronger squad, he'd basically replace Neville as cover for rb. Not sure what price we'd be looking at but it does make sense.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a versatile player, who can also play LB. Although he is a full back, he can also play as a CB. He would be a great signing, I have wanted Everton to go after him for a while now. He is young, is a good player already and has bags of potential. Signing this player would add quality, depth, and a hot prospect for the future. This signing would also allow John Stones to go out on loan, in order to gain some experience. But I do think there are other areas in more need of improving, such as a striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 20:49:55
ed/anyone?
how much would Kevin Trapp (GK) be valued at, howard needs some serious competition {Ed025's Note - he is valued at £4m mate..

Believable2 Unbelievable3

He will cost a lot more than that ed.

Mike {Ed025's Note - thats his current valuation mike..

Agree0 Disagree0

So we could get him for £4 milion ed? I doubt we could get him for that, I'd have said closer to £14 million. I won't doubt you though. If it is only £4 million though we should definitely get him.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 20:07:11
were close to signing kone

Believable6 Unbelievable15

Says who

Agree0 Disagree0

If your daft enough to lay out 6.5 million for him, I will drop him off myself. Awful first touch and so one footed its not true.

Agree0 Disagree0

5 million he would cost. He would be a decent replacement for Jelavic if he left. We would still need a top striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 19:39:43
Any truth in wanyama deal falling through? If so anybody reckon we should go for him? Get fer and honda aswell, may be wishful thinking but there's a chance

Believable4 Unbelievable10

Id take him. young powerful and loves a tackle. would be a very good addition in midfield

Agree0 Disagree0

I reckon he'd adapt to the PL well because he's strong, talented and he has good stamina. He's also really ambitious and motivated to do well, as he's incredibly proud and proactive about being Kenya's top footballer. He'd probably love a move to the PL to further his exposure. Think too many other teams are chasing him though and Celtic are very keen to keep him - don't think Roberto would blow the Kitty on him when he's scouting elsewhere so much for hidden gems in the confed cup etc

Agree0 Disagree0

Is there any cheaper equivalents?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes better than fer no point signing him aswell, a striker a must tho

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks a good player, buy I could look good in that pub team club.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 19:29:33
Hi ed, my sister told me Coleman is getting the number 2 shirt. Does that mean Hibbert is off?
Dan1 {Ed025's Note - no mate..hibbo is staying..

Believable4 Unbelievable9

When hibbo leaves he'll be retiring

Outs:
Heitenga £3-4 mill
Gueye £2 mill
Naismith £3.5 mill
Felliani £24 mill

Ins:
Honda - free
Manga - £4-5 mill
Wanamaya £12 mill
Redmond £3 mill
Fer £7 mill
Remy £8 mill

Believable9 Unbelievable15

We're will we get the money to pay these wages?

Agree0 Disagree0

That'd be great but we need a much better striker say soldado and sell jelevic
To add to that list
Ins:
Soldado 12mil

Outs:
Jelivic 4 mil
No Remy. Maybe alcaraz on free too but Idk where we get the wage money. Perhaps from selling finch farm

Agree0 Disagree0

The wage will already be there

Agree0 Disagree0

No thanks Remy!

Agree0 Disagree0

Not having Remy

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't and haven't not owned Finch farm, why do people only want to take a hint of truth or information?

Sky signed a big new deal with the laegue, we always have some money and didn't spend last window really.

we have one of the smallest squads in the prem why can't we think we might just be adding to it? Yes we need to think about finanaces but the majority of posts ideas just don't seem logical

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 19:10:19
Everton accept 22millioh bid for fellaini from arsenal {Ed025's Note - hmmm..

Believable4 Unbelievable14

This is rubbish, as Everton do not have to accept the bids due to a clause in his contract. And Everton would not let him go for less than his release clause.

Agree0 Disagree0

When ed says hmmm uno its bullshiy {Ed007's Note - Or Greggs has opened.}

Reports are breaking that fer could be Goodson. Bound

Believable11 Unbelievable7

Shame. I was hoping he'd be Goodison bound. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is there doubt? Surely his parents could give us a straight answer as to whether he's a "Goodson" or not?

Sorry for the awful pun.

Breaking rumour, honda signs and investment coming from Japan was all done 6 months ago (from twitter)

Believable7 Unbelievable3

That's ridiculous.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 16:36:11
Honda is coming all over sports news in Japan

Believable11 Unbelievable9

Well let's hope sports news in Japan has something decent to wipe it off with. No one will be able to read the damn headlines!

DPP

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope he has more control than that

Agree0 Disagree0

I will be coming over everything if he signs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha ha must have been some load. LIAM!

Agree0 Disagree0

He's coming all over japan. Fair play to him

Agree0 Disagree0

That sounds terrible!
Andy the Chef

Agree0 Disagree0

Think you will be coming all over your partner if it happens

Agree0 Disagree0

He must be good them Rooney could only lob seaman from thirty yards

Agree0 Disagree0

It says it's more than likely ac Milan unfortunately

Agree0 Disagree0

Ac millian what can they offer him lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Shouldn't there be some kind of tsunami warning {Ed025's Note - lol

Agree0 Disagree0

'Ac millian what can they offer him lol' (sic).
Erm, Champions League football, the chance to play for one of the biggest teams in the world and a better wage than we can.
If that's not what it's all about then I don't see the point in playing. {Ed025's Note - i think he was being sarcastic mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 16:22:38
This lad Manga that we are supposedly looking at has had some words to say, makes interesting reading.

"I want to play in England"

"Wigan were interested in me the last two seasons, but I wanted a big challenge and I was not ready for that".

"My agent is talking to various English clubs so things can move quickly. Everton could be great for me and they are a huge club in England".

"I will realise my dream playing for such a club".

I have personally never heard of him or seen him play but he seems like a keen lad, i'm not one to judge though

Alex

Any truth to the rumour that Jelavic could be on his way to West Ham? {Ed025's Note - very doubtful i think..

Believable4 Unbelievable8

Doubt they would have enough money to sign Jelavic anyway, they just spent a reported 17m on the donkey from over the park. If he is worth that then they'd have to dig deeper to sign even an out of form Jelli

Agree0 Disagree0

Doubt it now they are making the carroll deal permanent

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 15:25:02
Apparently we've been looking at Stephen Ireland. He's not played well for the past couple of seasons, but had good ability once upon a time. Stoke are after him, so I'd love to steal him from Sparky, just for the sake of seeing him disappointed. Otherwise don't see the point.

Believable5 Unbelievable11

I agree that he was an excellent player once, but if mark Hughes thinks he's good, we should probably stay away.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't see the point what so ever full stop. {Ed025's Note - im with you jimmy..

Agree0 Disagree0

U must be joking! He had 1 good season. What do we want him for. He is a disruption and average player who can't get a game for villa! Wake up mate!

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't get me wrong, I'm with you on this. I think he's poor. I just like to see Mark Hughes disappointed. didn't actually mean we should sign Ireland.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's moving back to Ireland as one of his 20 nans has passed away :)

Agree0 Disagree0

I could see logic in the fact that we need depth in our team. He is not an Everton standard player, but would be decent cover and would not make the bench. However, I'm unsure whether we could afford his wages in order for him to be a name in the squad for the most part. This deal is similar to the alcaraz deal in that they do not strengthen the first team and are not exciting transfers but will add depth with no transfer money used.

Agree0 Disagree0

The best way to get up sparkys nose is by letting him sign Ireland then he's wasting his money's. LIAM!

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone who drives a pink car like him doesn't deserve to play for us ha

Agree0 Disagree0

He had his best season under Hughes. It would make sense for him to go to stoke

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks ed, it just p*sses me off no end when people come out with silly rumours like that. Even if there genuine blues posting, or mischievious reds. Why would any team in the top 6 be looking at one season wonders and has beens?there ships have sailed and sank a long long time ago. iMO the type of players we now aspire to sign funds permitting, must be young, dynamic, with the right attitude, plus the odd signing of a rough diamond in the mould of the likes of cahill and lescott, added to gradually bringing the young lads who have been on the verge of the first team through. IMO we don't need major surgery like certain clubs, we need three maybe four depending on if and who leaves. Moyes has left us with a solid sound basis to improve on. {Ed025's Note - i agree with that jimmy..

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 22:08:47
Being Irish I would just like to say the Stephen Ireland is a waster. would not want him in an Everton jersey. he has no loyalty and is the type of player who would destroy the morale of our dressing room.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2013 00:54:29
Ireland is rubbish wouldn't even get in Villa's reserves

roberto is after Cheikhou Kouyaté from Anderlecht he is a young senegalese center back and is 6'3 with bags of pace he is a lot like distin

Believable7 Unbelievable4

Saw him play in the Olympics and he was outstanding for Senegal. Very versatile player, strong and fast. Think he said his dream move would be to Arsenal, who are keen. Especially if they lose Koscielny to Monaco as is rumoured. Would be great to replace Distan though, he says, sadly.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think someone playing too much fifa

Agree0 Disagree0

He's fantastic at the back for me at Lazio on FIFA but not too sure how good he is in real life. Only seen him once and he was playing in cdm and scored a screamer. Looked like he is a very technically able defender, but he didn't do all that much defending from what I saw.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 13:07:17
Honda news coming next week or so will be at finch farm towards end of next week also expect alcaraz beginning of July then striker will all depend on any big sell probably felleni though as that will free us up to splash on 15-20 million but if he stays I think he will bring in kone and also fer or Macarthy, a lot does depend on felleni as to what type of players he can bring in but honda and alcaraz will be free so just wages I believe we have 15 million to spend, but expect to start hearing some news in a week or so big handover going on with moyes over last few weeks and same with Martinez moyes and coyle

Believable3 Unbelievable8

The fact you have spelt 'Fellaini' 'Felleni' loses you the 0. 0000000000000001% credibility you may have had!

Mcgeady still on Martinez wish list he hopes to get him second time round as he missed out on him at Wigan. Forever blue

Believable4 Unbelievable8

Imo I don't think mcgeady is good enough to play in the prem from what I've seen of him, admittedly only for celtic and the republic. I can't see the Russian league being any more competitive than the Scottish prem. I may be wrong.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's on my wish list. Players I wish we'd stop being linked with that is!

Agree0 Disagree0

Interesting one

Spartak paid 9.5 mil for him 3 years ago and will easily want more money back

Mirallas plays better on the wing, though struggled with injury last season

Do we spend 10+ mil on a winger and push Mirallas up front. or buy a out'n'out forward?

Agree0 Disagree0

Mcgeady final ball is awfull there is no doubt he has ability to go past players but he needs to perfect his end product.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 15:17:05
How do you know? He has been away for over a week!

Agree0 Disagree0

Moses or Redmond would be much better options if we are after a winger.

Hope not

This is what I think will happen.

INS:

Alcaraz (free)
Honda (free)
Fer (9m)
Negredo (15-20m)
Turnbull (free)

OUTS:

Gueye (1.5m)
Heitinga (3m)
Fellaini (24m)

What you reckon blues? Martin

Believable12 Unbelievable10

Honda and Negredo 100% won't join us, Negredo will cost around £20 million + agents fees, £80-£100k a week salary and signing on fees- not a chance! Honda will go to Italy. Fer possibly but that ship may have sailed!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we pay over the odds for Fer we could have had him for less in Jan

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 10:28:20
I think we should raid fc twente for nacer chadli leroy fer and douglas should be about 12 mil and sell heitinga gueye and anichibe and the go for aubameyang perfect summer along with keepein fellieni an baines

Believable9 Unbelievable5

Plus we have money left over to spend I sign mcmanaman. On top of tat to

Agree0 Disagree0

Douglas is worth 12 on his own if not more m8, we should go for wanyama at 10 mil he a steel young strong an big from beard

Agree0 Disagree0

Plus get Honda ad Alcaraz. On free transfers and get moses for 10 m

Agree0 Disagree0

Wasn't this exact same rumour posted last week as well?
Domo

Agree0 Disagree0

More like 30 mill pal.

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe Douglas is out of contract.
TomD.

Agree0 Disagree0

Douglas is on a free

Pod

Agree0 Disagree0

Douglas is on a free

Agree0 Disagree0

That would be best possible summer if chadil is too expensive get tadic

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 09:54:33
If we get honda. It shows martinez has standards of the quality of signings he wants to bring in! Come on martinez, fer, soldado and a quality centre back! Maybe a keeper. Efc {Ed002's Note - Soldado will not be moving to Everton.}

Believable10 Unbelievable2

Oh right ed thanks, still a top quality striker at his standard then.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aubameyang instead then? Is that more realistic ed? Then get kone aswell if we sell jelavic {Ed002's Note - No, don't hold your breath.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Why does everyone seem to think that because we have a new manager miracles will happen? If he is genuinely looking at Alcatraz I fear for our club!

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 09:39:16
Ed, I thought Honda was a Moyes target?
GoodisonGeorge {Ed002's Note - An Everton target.}

Believable6 Unbelievable0

So that means there is and will be strong intrest?
GoodisonGeorge {Ed002's Note - Read the posts.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002, do you know if there is, or was, a tangible interest in Negredo from Everton or was that BS? Cheers {Ed002's Note - Not from Everton.}

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jun 2013 09:14:42
Have any of you forgot we still need a keeper because Jan Mucha is gone we have no back up keeper so if you intent of keeping Springthorpe as our #2 we need a keeper to chase up Howard.

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Good point. I would make a push for Ross Turnbull on a free.

Agree0 Disagree0

Taudal can be sub keeper

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally I would keep it as springthorpe being number 2, it will work out better for us in the long run and him as a player, joe hart was sub keeper for city at 18 next season number 1, manuel neuer again thrust into first team young, iker casillias, hugo lloris, its a running trend, if you help them develop younger and have them playing with bigger stronger better players it forces them to learn faster, i'd like to see the kid given a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Schwartser on free is best bet but new young keeper in short term

Papers only picking up on the Honda story now, ed you had it months ago, good work {Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Ed how likely is he to join out of 10 in your eyes mate? {Ed002's Note - I am not going to get in to that.}

The papers picked it up months ago too. 'Everton Ponder Honda' was the headline, I believe. That said, Ed has been on it the entire time, whereas they seem to have forgotten about it (until now)

We seem to have the pull of premier league football in our favour its just weather or not another prem team wants him, but even though he's linked to both milan clubs dortmund and malaga he seems set on wanting the premier league so hopefully we will get him on decent enough wages and keep fellaini to allow him space to show that creative spark

Any chance of Schaars from Portugal? {Ed002's Note - Sporting Lison's Stijn Schaars will return to the Netherlands with PSV as a replacement for Strootman.}

What is going on with the constant 'sell fellaini' rumours. We don't need to sell Fellaini, the club have already confirmed this. I want us to keep our best players, but it seems there's a lot of fans out there that don't want to keep our best players!

We do not need to sell felli. record TV money has ensured this is the case.

The felli rumours the press hammering on the same story based on no quotes and no inside sources, and completely ignoring that the player and the club have said his future is at Everton.

But you have to remember that it is out of our hands, the release clause makes it a game of will he/won't he until transfer window closes
