According to Sky Italia Everton have opened talks with Inter Milan over striker Luc Castaignos.

Why do you hope so? Is he a proven PL player? Or playing regularly in Seria A? Is he any good or do you just want EFC bring anyone?

The word Mr no name is potential, the kid had bags of it, given the interest from other clubs that is obvious even to you.

As for not being a "Proven" P.L. Player, were Cahill, Lescott, Donovan or Jelavic proven P.L. players when they first came to us? No, they were all decent players with potential.

If he is so good, why are Inter looking to sell him for a relatively small sum (£7m or whatever)? And why has he hardly played since moving to Italy? Sounds to me like people should keep their expectations a little bit lower should we sign him.

Agree that if he was the new Henry, why would Inter sell him? Only a loan deal would be possible. We also dont have the money to buy him. Moyes do not have a good judgement, he gets the best out of each player...

You cant say we are gonna finish in the top 4 next season, look at the quality that the current top 4 are bringing in apart from totenham, united city arsenal and chelsea are clearly top 5 finishes next season then you have newcastle totenham both capable of finishing above us eurpropa league finish maybe nowhere near the top 4 but forever the optomist

According to talk sport Moyes is seriously considering a move for Luc Castaignos from Inter.

Hope so mate,kind of player we should be going for,young,quick n skilful with an eye for goal.Pay 3mill now,turn him into something special then sell in 4 yrs for 30 mill.Look at Benfica!

If we do get Luc Castaignos, he wud be an amazing signing because he has loads of potential in the future.

Would be an ideal strike partner for Jelavic, the lad is quick, skilled and has an eye for goal. Would love to see this happen, think he is available for a pretty cheap price (well for a normal club).

Although he is still young, Jelavic and the lad would be banging in goals from everywhere.

Fingers crossed for this one!

We just missed out on him last transfer window, he's hungry with plenty to prove his career path so far has been just like pienaars, lets hope it works out for him
