can't wait for the next away game against Blackburn next saturday, as they play in blue and white, maybe we'll finally see the away kit.

No you won't away & 3rd kit not due out till early August.

Yeah, Austria Wien's home kit is blue/purple, and when we played them (at their ground), they played in their away kit and we played in all blue. I imagine the same thing will happen at Blackburn.

Hello everybody, it's the mole back with THE story, I posted about a week ago saying we had money to spend, my source says we have offered 22m for saldado, spurs an arsenal also put in bids, trust the mole we have money to spend, my source 100 per cent I can't name names though. Would love to believe it but it looks to me that we are waiting on a major sale before looking to spend, hence RM stating that he needs to assess the situation and see what areas he needs to strengthen before making more signings, maybe I am a little glass half empty but I take that as once we know who is leaving! I am looking forward to the season and would prefer to just hold on to what we have than have to replace them last minute! Blue Ben

Would love it to be true but just can't see it! If spurs an arsenal looking would be not opt for European football anyway? Also I really can't see us having that sort of money to spend. What would be the point of selling Fellaini or baines then spending 20+ million on a player whose never played in the prem? Don't make sense!

Really don't want ince he's crap, would rather get moses in. He is going to be wasted at chelsea with schurlle, mata, hazard, oscar ahead of him and also marin and de brunye fighting for places. What are the chances of getting moses on loan with a view to be buy. Do you have any info Ed?

I think we are ok for wide men at the moment we have pienaar, mirallas, Oviedo, Naismith baines or Coleman can do a job there if needed plus new boy from Barcelona and Barkley could be used there so I don't think we are too light wait most of our goals have come from either the right or left not very much down the middle I think we will play something like this ok personnel may differ

Gibson was one of our best players last season and has been one of our best players in pre-season. I can guarantee you know nothing about Chantome. He is good, but no improvement and would cost too much.

We were awful last season when Gibson was out I'm all up for chantome as back up/midfield competition but gibbos got to stay

The OP can't have watched any of our games last season if he thinks gibson is crap. The guy is quality and our best passer of the ball in my opinion. We certainly wouldn't sell for £2.5m

The OP's clearly a WUM, or has had one too many shandies. Gibson is the catalyst in our midfield and makes us tick, not to mention he's worth at least treble the £2.5m mentioned.

Joke that, Gibson was one of our best players last season and we've only lost 1 league game when he's playing. We missed him when he was injured. He's also played for United in the Champions League and scored against Bayern Munich! What more do you want

Dies anyone know whether Gibson has had his operations yet?

Complete BS Gibson is a great holding midfielder with great vision and excellent passing, his only let down is that he is injury prone, which is the single reason he's not a 10mil+ player. We started first two games last season absolutely on fire then lost to West Brom when gibbo went off injured and struggled a lot throughout the season in games where he was absent.

He will take care our playmaker this season. The one want him prepare 25m.

I personally think he is average. No pace and injury prone.

Gibson is class when he don't play you see the difference first on team sheet in my opinion but he makes us tick and look balanced we play so smoothly when he sits there and distributes the ball bargain for 500k injury the issue

What a load of garbage and as for Gibbo's value I'm afraid your decimal point is in the wrong place he's got to be worth 50 times what we paid for him. What a bargain.

Pace is an asset but isn't crucial as a holding midfielder, look at the likes of Pirlo and Xavi. Not saying Gibson is anywhere near as good as them but neither of them have pace and yet still one of the best CM's in the world

I'd say he's worth atleast £6million. One of the best centre miss we've got. great talent

Gibbo has a great footballing brain his passing is superb and if a] you want rid of him or b] you value him at £2.5mil you must be out of your tree sunshine

Gibson is good, but don't forget that he is injury prone which can be a blow to a team with low team wages and therefore a smallish sqaud. I like Gibson, and personally would like him to stay, but most other everton fans overrate him (overrate: does not mean he is no good)
