can't wait for the next away game against Blackburn next saturday, as they play in blue and white, maybe we'll finally see the away kit.
Believable10
Unbelievable1
No you won't away & 3rd kit not due out till early August.
Agree0
Disagree0
Yeah, Austria Wien's home kit is blue/purple, and when we played them (at their ground), they played in their away kit and we played in all blue. I imagine the same thing will happen at Blackburn.
Murf
Agree0
Disagree0
To the answer above we will, play in blue against a team who play in BLUE and WHITE will we?
Agree0
Disagree1
Murf, we played Rapid Vienna. Different kit.
Agree0
Disagree0
We played Rapid Vienna. In 1985! Austria Vienna this year.
Agree0
Disagree0
Mate, we played Austria Wien.
To the other guy: No, we'll play in blue against a team that will play in their away kit because they have announced their away kit, and we haven't. That's what I'm saying.

I now firmly believe that Moyes knew back in January that he was getting the Utd job. that is why he did not strengthen the team and push for a champions league place as it would then have been very difficult for him to walk away. The same reason why he did not sign a new contract and that is why Neville did not sign.
Exiting times ahead for us blues just a couple more bodies required!!
Believable22
Unbelievable11
I would go along with the fact he knew some time ago, oh well onwards and upwards
Agree1
Disagree0
I would go along with the fact he knew some time ago in fact I'm quite sure, anyway onwards and upwards blues. Jonno
Agree2
Disagree0
Moyes knew in January. You're right about that. However, he didn't strengthen the squad because Bill wouldn't let him. Fer and Negredo? Two big-money moves that may not be in the new manager's plans, thus a waste of money.
Agree0
Disagree1
I agree with the point that he did know by atleast jan/feb, but to say he didn't strengthen the team to push for champions fottball is ridiculous. He attempted to strengthen the team, but failed mostly, however we did sign Stones, one for the future is he not?
Agree1
Disagree0
Just another conspiracy theory mate, we can all make them up, move on because we've got a new manager, so who cares about the past. COYBs

I also think bk new! It's bs that bk an moyes saying they didn't no! Give us some credit! Anyway rm made 4 signings already 4 more than moyes would have! Would still love Honda at the club thou. Class player!

Hello everybody, it's the mole back with THE story, I posted about a week ago saying we had money to spend, my source says we have offered 22m for saldado, spurs an arsenal also put in bids, trust the mole we have money to spend, my source 100 per cent I can't name names though. This one could happen
The Mole ( aka the one in the know)
Believable2
Unbelievable26
Aren't moles blind?
Agree2
Disagree0
I could believe that, since we are trying to offload a striker.
Agree0
Disagree1
They are good at digging the dirt though lol {Ed025's Note - i like that mate..
Agree1
Disagree0
I don't care if your source is 50 cent, I don't believe a word of your hefty shovel loads of bull excrement. If Billy Bob Kenwright had £22M to spray wildly at a player, without selling a big portion of his best squad, he would have done it by now and been carried off by the tax man for non disclosure of income. Trust the mole indeed. I hope a badger gets you.
Agree0
Disagree0
Would love to believe it but it looks to me that we are waiting on a major sale before looking to spend, hence RM stating that he needs to assess the situation and see what areas he needs to strengthen before making more signings, maybe I am a little glass half empty but I take that as once we know who is leaving! I am looking forward to the season and would prefer to just hold on to what we have than have to replace them last minute! Blue Ben
Agree0
Disagree0
If we could just get moses in our tema could look something like this:
Howard
Coleman Jags Distin Baines
Fellaini
Gibson Pienaar
Moses Miralles
Kone
I think we would do pretty well with that starting eleven and have the likes of ossie, barkley and jelavic on the bench
Cheeks
Agree0

Why can nobody ever name their sources? we are hardly talking national security issues here its football transfer rumours for gods sake! {Ed025's Note - some posters are told in confidence mate..
Agree0

Yawn at the op
Agree0
Disagree0
Would love it to be true but just can't see it! If spurs an arsenal looking would be not opt for European football anyway? Also I really can't see us having that sort of money to spend. What would be the point of selling Fellaini or baines then spending 20+ million on a player whose never played in the prem? Don't make sense!
Agree0
Disagree0
All over Sky their chairman will not accept a penny less than 30 million and under there terms for payment. therfore we have no chance
Agree0

Hmmmm. we offer 22mil and his buy out is 26mil, seems we have heard all this tosh in the past blues al la alan shearer. me thinks some one is telling porkies. again.

This is just from the grape vine so to speak so don't shoot the messenger as I am greatly opposed to the Idea ( F**kin ginger Person)
Apparently there is a very strong rumor that UTD want to swap welbeck for our fantastic Super Kev,
If there is any truth in this then I hope Moyes gets everything he deserves when he comes back to the mighty Goodison Park
In Martinez We Trust COYB

How about Powell, Hernandez, zaha and Rooney for kev

Wasn't that Pereira's odds at one point to be our next manager!

Dunno cowpat, I posted originally, and a bit of of a gambler, way to why off odds that mate.
Agree0

Baines is/was 1/6 to go to Utd. Make of that what you will but I think the bookies see that a 'bigger' club is interested and assume it's going to happen. Personally I can't see Ince joining us nor Baines going to MU.
Agree0
Disagree0
Depending which bookies you look at our favourite for next signing is Sinclair, Ince, Rhodes, Moses and McGeady
Agree0
Disagree0
Really don't want ince he's crap, would rather get moses in. He is going to be wasted at chelsea with schurlle, mata, hazard, oscar ahead of him and also marin and de brunye fighting for places. What are the chances of getting moses on loan with a view to be buy. Do you have any info Ed?
Cheeks {Ed025's Note - apparently moses wants to stay at chelsea cheeks, and i agree with the ince shout mate..
Agree0
Disagree0
Ince is unproven in the prem. he had a great season for Blackpool but the step up to the prem is massive. To be asking 8 mill is a joke plus I would want better and more experienced players at the club. {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..
Agree0
Disagree0
£8m is ridiculous especially when you consider Chadli costs around £7m. There's much better value out there for the sort of money Ince would cost. Mirallas at £5. 5-6m, Chadli for £7m or Ince for £8m? {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Apparently we are being linked with Mory Kone. Good young centre back. Could learn from Distin and replace him next year, unless he has his way and continues his career into his late 60's.
Also, you been on holiday or something, Ed? Post frequency dropped and I don't remember seeing you leave a note on anything for about a week now. {Ed025's Note - i have been on sabbatical AB.. :)

I think everton should move for victor ibarbo, could play as a winger or center forward. Great talant. What do you think ed. {Ed025's Note - seems decent, but no news on him mate..
Believable5
Unbelievable5
I think we are ok for wide men at the moment we have pienaar, mirallas, Oviedo, Naismith baines or Coleman can do a job there if needed plus new boy from Barcelona and Barkley could be used there so I don't think we are too light wait most of our goals have come from either the right or left not very much down the middle I think we will play something like this ok personnel may differ
Howard/Robels
Alcaraz Jagielka Distin
Coleman Baines
Gibson Fellani
Mirallas Deulofeu
Kone/Jelavic
Agree0
Disagree1
If we sell jelavic ibarbo is a good shout more of a Martinez striker than jelavic and I think we need another winger/wide forward type guy as well line up like this
Howard/Joel
Coleman jags distin baines
Felli gibbo piennar/Barkley
Mirallas Kone delefou

Ed025; Can you help clear something up. When moyes told bill he was leaving, he allowed him to take up the roll when still under contract to us, bill's version goes on to say he was given an undertaking that he would not attempt to sign any everton players, moyes now seems to claim that no such promise was given. Now, short of being in the room you cannot know for sure, but who's version do you tend to believe? {Ed025's Note - i believe BK..
Believable8
Unbelievable3
U always do ed, every quote that's moyes makes at utd, tells me that bill and moyes knew what was happening. don't be naive moyes knew a month before the statement of fergusons resignation, what was going on. , so did bill. otherwise there 11 year relationship was based on nothing more than lies

Why turn the Moyes exit into a soap. It's in the past. Let's concentrate on Martinez instead of standing round, arms folded, whipping up a kick off like a bunch of fishwives.

Welcome to reality guys! BK has a history of telling huge lies.
Whereas Moyes has not once misled the supporters!
Kenwright lies like a big flat fish!
But Moyes has gone and frankly I don't care what he says or does.

Today on tv website, Martinez says that he is confident he can keep his key men such as fellaini and baines. But fossilheads on here are posting rumours of key men leaving. who do you believe. Shed some light on the situation Ed, people listen to you. Your like a messiah when it comes to everton football rumours haha. {Ed025's Note - at the moment no one is leaving, but that may change, felli and johnny look favourite to go, just as long as felli and baines dont, ill be happy..

I reckon you are wrong their mate, Gibson looks to be on fire pre-season and obviously upbeat over our new manager and his new style. I have a feeling and I hope Gibson really shines under Martinez. #Ping

Did you see any games last season? gibson is superb, your talking out of your ass
Agree6

Bad shout that. Gibsons going no where.
Agree5
Disagree0
Why do you make up lies like this now my first point is Martinez said Gibson will be our playmaker this year my second point is he is good enough and when he is injured you realise what were missing in midfield and my last point is 2.5 mill he is going for all because you say he is not good enough hmmmm.
Agree0
Disagree0
What a load of tripe. Gibson is integral to the future success of our football club. He is a rock in the midfield. Martinez already raving about him. He's going nowhere.
Agree2
Disagree1
Has gibbo just had an operation that removed both legs because thatsthe only way anybody will get him for 2.5 mill. get real
Agree1
Disagree0
Gibson was one of our best players last season and has been one of our best players in pre-season. I can guarantee you know nothing about Chantome. He is good, but no improvement and would cost too much.
Agree2
Disagree0
We were awful last season when Gibson was out I'm all up for chantome as back up/midfield competition but gibbos got to stay
Agree1
Disagree0
The OP can't have watched any of our games last season if he thinks gibson is crap. The guy is quality and our best passer of the ball in my opinion. We certainly wouldn't sell for £2.5m
Cheeks
Agree1
Disagree0
Gibson was good enough to get us where we just finished and he was injured for most of it
Rich84
Agree0

The OP's clearly a WUM, or has had one too many shandies. Gibson is the catalyst in our midfield and makes us tick, not to mention he's worth at least treble the £2.5m mentioned.
Agree0

23 Jul 2013 13:09:43
Joke that, Gibson was one of our best players last season and we've only lost 1 league game when he's playing. We missed him when he was injured. He's also played for United in the Champions League and scored against Bayern Munich! What more do you want
Agree0
Disagree0
23 Jul 2013 13:14:33
Dies anyone know whether Gibson has had his operations yet?
Agree0
Disagree0
Complete BS Gibson is a great holding midfielder with great vision and excellent passing, his only let down is that he is injury prone, which is the single reason he's not a 10mil+ player. We started first two games last season absolutely on fire then lost to West Brom when gibbo went off injured and struggled a lot throughout the season in games where he was absent.
Agree0
Disagree1
He will take care our playmaker this season. The one want him prepare 25m.
Agree0
Disagree0
I personally think he is average. No pace and injury prone.
Agree0
Disagree0
Sort your head out please
Agree0
Disagree0
He is a holding midfielder which means pace is not a necessity {Ed025's Note - pace is always a good asset boyd..
Agree0
Disagree0
Gibson is class when he don't play you see the difference first on team sheet in my opinion but he makes us tick and look balanced we play so smoothly when he sits there and distributes the ball bargain for 500k injury the issue
Agree0
Disagree0
What a load of garbage and as for Gibbo's value I'm afraid your decimal point is in the wrong place he's got to be worth 50 times what we paid for him. What a bargain.
Agree0
Disagree0
23 Jul 2013 17:27:17
Pace is an asset but isn't crucial as a holding midfielder, look at the likes of Pirlo and Xavi. Not saying Gibson is anywhere near as good as them but neither of them have pace and yet still one of the best CM's in the world
Agree0
Disagree0
I'd say he's worth atleast £6million. One of the best centre miss we've got. great talent
Agree0
Disagree0
Gibbo has a great footballing brain his passing is superb and if a] you want rid of him or b] you value him at £2.5mil you must be out of your tree sunshine
Agree0
Disagree0
Watch the video on youtube vs man city gibbo ran the show and also took the p. ss out of barry and nasri which was awesome.
Agree0
Disagree0
This is posted by a red. Gibbo is a class act and would go for triple that.
Agree0
Disagree0
Gibson is good, but don't forget that he is injury prone which can be a blow to a team with low team wages and therefore a smallish sqaud. I like Gibson, and personally would like him to stay, but most other everton fans overrate him (overrate: does not mean he is no good)
