I live down the road from kevin bond ( ex assistant spurs) and even though hes gone he still gets inside info and my dad bumped into him in a local costcutter and has said pienaar is a done deal all personal terms but things are going slow because of spurs on there tour and avb has told spurs board he wants another million for pienaar but everton still confident deal will be done by friday. Fingers crosses. {Ed025's Note - how apt, that you met him in....costcutter..

Believable9 Unbelievable10

Tut tut tut learn to listen Ed he said his dad met him in costcutter lol {Ed025's Note - consider my wrists slapped..

Agree0 Disagree0

All sounds like lies. It's one thing Kevin bond still getting some inside information but getting the latest information on confidential discussions and happing to bump into someone who's son is an evertonian and spell the beans all seems a little contrived.

Agree0 Disagree1

It does seem a little contrived, plus you just do not get the same quality of inside info at Costcutter as you do at Lidl.

Agree1 Disagree0

Aldi for me

George

Agree1 Disagree1

If avb has not agreed to the fee, how are we discussing personal terms with a player?

evertonroar

Agree1 Disagree1

I got the impression it was Levy who did the buying and selling at Spurs and not the manager

Latest odds is Everton 7/2 to finish in top six next season. tempting

Andy

Believable12 Unbelievable6

Put 100 quid on it, you won't regret it mate

MickTheBrickWhoHasARatherLarge...

Agree0 Disagree0

May have a flutter myself at those kind of odds.

Agree0 Disagree0

Keep baines and felli , never mind top 6 ,top 4 i think

cahill to red bulls johnny to inter milan pianaar done {Ed025's Note - hmmm..

Believable9 Unbelievable13

Ok ed remember the name webbo. hmmm. {Ed025's Note - i wil post an apology if your right webbo....hope the same goes for you mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Will do, promise ed. webbo.

Agree0 Disagree1

Inter Milan makes more sense than Turkey. Can see him wanting to go for Inter, but not Turkey

Agree0 Disagree0

I like editor 025. {Ed051's Note - oh thanks lol

From mate who works at finch farm. Everything was agreed for signing pienaar but at the last min spurs have asked for 1m more. Everton are refusing so at the moment no deal but everton are confident a deal should happen but we may have to wait a while yet

Believable8 Unbelievable7

Hmmmmm

EFCwhitesocks

Agree0 Disagree0

I think I know the reason we are skint. The amount of 'mates' we have working at finch farm must be costing us a bomb in wages ! {Ed025's Note - i like that mate..

Agree0 Disagree1

I doubt they would ask for anymore. Loan deals come with an amount already agreed if the loan is successful so that's a non-starter.

Joao Silva - 500k - true
Baxter ( comp ) - £350k - guess
Forshaw - £500k - guess
Yobo - £2mill -true

So theres nearlly -£3.5mil of players which wont affect us and we will get Pienaar with that and he will affect us by being great!

Hoping the board will give us abit of money fort
Castaignos - £3.5mil
Holtby - £6mil

Heard rumours of Cahill leaving which will be a shame cause hes a legend but i think we may get around £2-3mil of him

TonyEFC

Believable6 Unbelievable12

And if you check down the back of the sofa you could find another 20p, and that will cover the Messi deal!

Agree1 Disagree0

Inter have accepted a £7mil bid from FC Twente for Castaignos so for us to bid £3.5mil would be rather silly don't you think?..

Murf

Agree1 Disagree1

Sure holtby is priced at 16million aswell

Pienaar deal will be announced this week, fans need to be patient.

Cahill looking likely to leave, offers from the Far East and from America, not much of a transfer fee involved but a high earner of the wage bill atleast gives us room to manouvre.

Just heard that we are likely to pull out of this Java cup. Galatasaray have already pulled out which would have left us to play the Indonesia Senior & U23 teams.

Believable9 Unbelievable9

The Echo say that Nacional of Uruguay will replace them, so it still seems like we are still taking part.

From a reliable source Cahill and Heitinga have been sold USA and Turkey respectively {Ed025's Note - hmmm..

Believable6 Unbelievable18

And who is your reliable source your shrink...

Agree1 Disagree1

I have heard the Cahill 1. Seems believable enough. To New York Red Bulls.
But no way would Jonny leave to go to a piss poor league like the Turkish.

PaulWRX

Agree0 Disagree0

I guess it would depend how much they were offering. The Turks are notoriously big spenders (apart from when they're trying to re-negotiate a Nigerian defender's transfer fee). That's the only reason I can see Johnny H joining the Turks. BlueTone

Agree0 Disagree0

Source is a non bulls***ting friend they have cleared their lockers from ff take from that what you will this is a rumours page after all

Agree0 Disagree0

Source? Cahill yes I can see him going, he's been a good servant for the club but at his age maybe it is time for one last big pay day. As for Johnny, no chance, if we are going to make a serious assault on the top four this season which it looks like that is what DM is planning, I just do not see him selling Johnny.

If we were that skint (and I stress IF) It would make more sense to sell Fellaini. He would command a much higher fee and much as he is a good player we have a lot of good CM's his loss to the squad would be easier to replace than that of a top quality CB.

WtG

Agree0 Disagree0

I suppose your right bud, money talks in football. Still, can't see Jonny leaving after the season he had.

PaulWRX

Agree1 Disagree0

Na can't see this happening.

Agree1 Disagree0

This is true I'm afraid on both counts. Although I think it's Inter after Heitinga.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we buy pienaar, buy no one else but at the same time don't sell anyone I'd be over the moon, we've got some really good youth coming through to add to the team that finished so well at the tail end of the season. {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

I have sadly been hearing the same thing about Heitinga, although have heard some Turkish club is interested.

Dont understand why it would be Heitinga, showed last season he was our best CB at the club, hopefully we get a decent fee for him. I guess Moyes is happy with Duffy's development and CB is a place where we are well stocked, hopefully means we can land someone like a Castaignos or Dempsey.

Ed, any truth to the rumour to the rumour that cahill is joining the new york red bulls? {Ed025's Note - not as far as i know mate..

Believable15 Unbelievable9

Not a word about it here state side

Harris

Agree0 Disagree0

Just shows ed25 is as much use as a chocolate teapot hmmm {Ed025's Note - but a lot more useful than carroll, downing, henderson, and adam, cos at least i get it right some times..

matt philips to sign soon

Believable12 Unbelievable13

He will be good player for the team

Agree1 Disagree0

I hope so, he's a decent kid with plenty of potential, and I think would suit our style of play. In years to come Coleman and Philips could be for the right flank what Baines and Peanuts are on the left.

WtG. {Ed025's Note - i dont think we have the money for him mate..

Agree0 Disagree1

He would be but its not true! {Ed025's Note - i agree..

Agree1 Disagree0

Another made up rumour this is getting pathetic. I appreciate that it's a rumour site but rubbish that's blatantly made up just to get on here shouldn't be put on. I know this won't be posted by the ED but it's getting ridiculous and you should pull ur finger out ED!! {Ed025's Note - is it that much of a ridiculous rumour?...we certainly enquired about him...do i think we will sign him?..no, but it is hardly pathetic..hopeful ..yes, but i think you need to wind your neck in a bit mate..

Agree1 Disagree1

That was posted by me by the way

Glen the blue. {Ed025's Note - dont tell lies..it was a guy called steve

Agree0 Disagree0

Erm no it was me, i know it was me because i wrote it, thats how i know its me, understand?

Glen the blue. {Ed025's Note - if it was glen...why would it have steve in the e-mail field?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would i claim to write something i didnt its pathetic. you mite not like what i say because it undermines you but i speak the truth, things on here are gettin ridiculous and you should keep tighter tabs about the dross that people post.

Glen the blue.

Agree0 Disagree1

Lewis Holtby spotted in Liverpool Glen!! He's sharing a taxi with oscar cardozo as well!!!!

Reports from the Turkish press say that Everton have agreed a fee of €2.5 million for Yobo. That's a little under £2 million.

Popeye

Believable13 Unbelievable2

Considering the huge loan fees they had been paying for him as well thats not bad business. Plus we have signed a 2 mil deal with a ticting agency today so when the sky money come in august there should be more room for manouver on top of peanuts, im very optimisitic for this coming season

Agree1 Disagree0

Who cares! We finally got him off our books and can use his wages for pienaar + use the transfer fee. Better than nothing. {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Agree1 Disagree0

Anything to get him off the wage bill. Last thing we need is a player who is not committed to the cause hanging around Finch Farm.

WtG. {Ed025's Note - well said mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jul 2012 11:43:57
Pienaars defo comin now the south African coach is thinking about naming another captain for the national squad so he will be determined to prove him wrong and he's not goin to do that on the bench around dodgy European cities! J blue

Moyes targeting a striker, a goalkeeper and the wide areas to strengthen the squad. Most probably 2 wide players a striker and a goalkeeper plus Naismith and Pienaar will be our entire haul from this transfer window. {Ed025's Note - you think?...we will get maybe one player besides pienaar, and naismith in my opinion..

Believable12 Unbelievable10

I agree Ed, one more player, perhaps a wide man will be about our limit, that said with Barkley and Rodders fit they should be like new signings. As for a new back up keeper, young Taudul, looks like a decent prospect given half a chance.

WtG. {Ed025's Note - also junior is like a new signing as well, so its all looking good wtg..

Agree1 Disagree0

Moyes wants at least 1 wide man and a striker sufficient room on wage bill for loans

Agree0 Disagree1

Yeah, I forgot about Junior, seems decent in pre-season, looks like DM has unearthed another rough diamond there Ed.

WtG. {Ed025's Note - he is very happy with him, and thinks he will play a part this season..

Agree0 Disagree0

So we're targetting a veteran goalie on a free and one guy who can play wide or up front to fill those 3 spots on loan. Sounds more reasonable.

Agree0 Disagree0
