Heard some strong rumours awhile back we had signed James Millner on loan, anyone heard anything?

Believable4 Unbelievable27

I think ed mentioned that one too. Very doubtful now mate. He is doing great for city and they would be silly letting him go.

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard its nonsense mate

Agree0 Disagree0

It was totally made up nonesense mate by some goon on this site.
most of the stuff on here re transfers is total crap.
only the board and moyes know who were trying to bring in.
most of the names mentioned on here have gone to other clubs.
just too many dreamers on here.

stewillow {Ed025's Note - it is a rumours site you know ste!...

Agree0 Disagree0

So you heard we had signed someone on loan but the club and the media hadn't mentioned it, do you think 2 and 2 make 5?

Danny graham or Odenwinge to come in for the out of form jelavic until
The summer when funds wil be raised from tv money
And potential sales of felli victor johnny guye
Jelavic then we can go for some top level strikers
Of our own ie dezeko benteke Cordoza hulk

Believable9 Unbelievable44

Ok mate, if you say so, now put down your xbox and live in the real world

Agree0 Disagree0

If you would swap Jelavic for either of those 2 your mad mate!

Agree0 Disagree0

Victor is here to stay and us sign the Hulk?? more chance getting the Jolly Green Giant

George

Agree0 Disagree0

Benteke would be a very good buy, but the rest of this is absolute nonsense.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll have some of what this guys smoking please ed. {Ed025's Note - i think its moroccan woodbines mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

If fellini goes it wil take 25mil so dezeko for 17 would be a good deal

Agree0 Disagree0

The guys got a point tv money wil come in
Fellini wil go if no champs league
Vic to Wigan heitinga up for sale
Guye to anyone jelavic like watching
James beatie would ave dezeko
Don't no about the hulk though

Agree0 Disagree0

Everyone slating jelavic class is permanent form is temporary don't forget that once he finds the net again and gets confidence he be back to his old self but we do need competition for him to work for his place

Efcdean

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha love the 2nd poster saying put down your xbox, like he is a top level manager or something

Agree0 Disagree0

Hulk?! Got more chance of signing Thor!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Nah, Thor's lost a bit of form mate, would rather get spiderman, more pace and trickery

Agree0 Disagree0

We might have the money by selling these players but there wage demands would be way out of our budget

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jan 2013 22:04:59
Your mad ! Dzeko and hulk would have wages of over 200,000 a week and hulks buyout clause form zenit is probably about 50m and dzekos wages we about 180,000m
So forget about it !

Yann M'Vila has agreed a deal with Rubin Kazan tv

AJ

Believable23 Unbelievable5

Actually shocked to find out we were actually genuinely interested in this player, so much so, we even placed a bid in for M'Vila and Everton was his preference, too bad Rubin had to come in and blow our offer out of the water.

Would've been a class signing, gutted we missed out, but Moyes will simply move onto the next target.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jan 2013 18:10:25
Unamed premier league club in for m'villa would like it to be us.but I think its spurs.ryanfromleic

Believable5 Unbelievable15

I think it's Rubin Kazan mate.

ToffeeMike

Agree0 Disagree0

The same Yann M'Vila that has somehow managed to join a team with a transfer embargo in Rubin Kazan

Agree0 Disagree0

Spurs are looking to bring in Holtby this window, though they are greedy and take players just to spite other teams just because they can.

Agree0 Disagree0

Like they did with pienaar.
stole him off us for 3 mill and hardly played him

sneaky rumour doing the rounds that moyes set to bid for celtics joe ledley

Believable5 Unbelievable30

More rumours about an average if not below average mid wasn't bad at Cardiff but not the same player now

Agree0 Disagree0

After jelavic i'd have no problem with ledley

Agree0 Disagree0

Leadlys much beter now than he was when he was at cardiff

23 Jan 2013 13:25:55
Just heard that we may be capturing the signature of Vagner Love, Moyes has been a fan favourite of the Brazilian for the last couple of years and sees him as ideal replacement for the out of sorts Jelavic.

Cheers Ed
Jo 1878

Believable8 Unbelievable35

This stuff about Jelavic is a joke, he is just low on confidence his ability as a goalscorer will shine through before the end of the season. The fickle fans need to get off his back. His performance's have still been up there with the best in the team.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jan 2013 15:22:36
Lol. He signed for CSKA Moscow only a week ago.

Agree0 Disagree0

He gone back to cska Moscow mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha he rejoined CSKA Moscow last week?
Joe EFC

Agree0 Disagree0

An unnamed English club as bid for yann mc' viila it's not spurs arsenal or QPR so I hope it may be us wat you think ed av you heard owt bluejack {Ed025's Note - i would be guessing jack..

Agree0 Disagree0

Have disagree with the second poster. Jelavic will not run channels, is not on the same wavelength as the other squad members, he's missed 3 sittersin his last 3 games, he can't take on and beat a player and most of his goals have been simple apart from his one against Spurs, which I still think is a fluke. Said from the start and haven't changed my mind. I hate Suarez, he's a goofy, dishonest, hateful little man, but he gives the RS something different! I think the honeymoon period with him AND Pienaar for that matter has truly ended.
Jelavic is paid £70k a week to put the ball in the back of the net. That money comes from my pocket, and yours (if you attend matches). If you go to work in Jaguar and not assemble the breaks properly that car fails doesn't work or crashes! But the paying public don't turn up to watch the breaks being placed on the car! I support these players through thick and thin, they're not here because they love Everton, they're here for the MONEY, they have no loyalty. I watched every team member bar Jelavic stop and sign autographs at the end of the Chelsea game. He walked right past the kids holding out their shirts and books! I'd sell him tomorrow, he's BROKE, or trying to orchestrate another move, arsenal maybe??
Dave M

Agree0 Disagree0

Vagner Love?.... Wasn't he in X Factor?

Agree0 Disagree0

Here's an idea.......lets get behind our players instead of rippi g them apart when they have a poor few games. These so called fans are probably tthe same fans touting him as the greatest striker we've had in years when he was scoring

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha its wagner not vagner! he is terrible now, he wasn't a bad player about 5 years ago

Agree0 Disagree0

Please just look at last season. Give Jelly the ball in or around the box, he takes it 1st time, that is his style. Yes I know he has missed a few lately, but when you are asked to do what is natural, it throws you. Look at El Nini, awesome when slotted behind a defense, the best No 9 in the world, ask him to do what is not him...well you know the result. We need to play so that we fire the ball into the box for a lethal poacher.
Jon

Agree0 Disagree0

It's clear his confidence is shot to pieces. I think the reality is he's not as good as he showed during his first 5 months, that was just the 'honeymoon' period and he hit a purple patch. However, I do believe that he's better than what he's showing us at the moment. You don't lose your finishing qualities overnight unless your name is Fernando Torres. He will start knocking them in again soon, providing he stays in the box, though I don't believe he'll be as prolific as he was when he first arrived. The real Jelavic is in there somewhere and he's not as good as we all hoped

Agree0 Disagree0

Dave m you have clearly not be watching many everton matches, Jelavic puts a rubbish in every game just his finishing has been off, plenty of near misses it happens, his form will comeback

Agree0 Disagree0

We do not want Vagnor Love, he did not want to come here last time there was rumours about him. Leave Jelavic alone, short memories from last year, he will start scoring again.

Agree0 Disagree0

I've been to every game at home this season, as I do every season and YES I'm critical of Jelavic because he's missing SIMPLE chances! THAT'S WHAT HE'S PAID FOR! Chelsea, he missed a sitter! Swansea, and that against Southampton was unforgivably shocking!! He's a pro, practises 6 hours a day to do that and is paid more in a week than most of us in a year!
Dave M

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with dave jelavic was about one touch
Finishes and simply does not look the same
Player if there was a profit to be made I would take it

anything happening edd. or amything even possible happening, come on edd give us a clue, we are desperate for a cm and a striker {Ed025's Note - what can i tell you..it looks like a bit of late business from us..well i hope so..

Believable6 Unbelievable4

23 Jan 2013 13:28:56
Think we should start lookin at laudrup ov Swansea before others jump in don't think moyes is gona stay I think he wants a new challenge unless the club bac him now with a couple ov quality signings I think it's tatha, laudrup is gona be a great manager you can see that wudnt mind him at all if moyes did move on bluejack !

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm with ed on this one bet its going 2 be the last day and it will be a gk and def when we need cm and striker

Agree0 Disagree0

We were always going to do our business in the last day or two of the window. January, as has been said numerous time, is not optimal to buy, of course there are exceptions (Gibson for example). Given our finances, we are really forced to do business towards the end of the window, that is when players values drop as clubs become a bit more desperate to get rid or players become available on loan (something I am positive David Moyes will take advantage of in this window).

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, I know you HOPE that there will be a bit of late business, but do you genuinely believe there WILL be?

Everything I'm picking up (from admittedly very limited sources - namely friends working at clubs other than our own) is that we seem to have settled for a none-out-none-in policy this window. {Ed025's Note - i still expect 1 or 2 players in mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Yet more negavtivety from so called 'fans'! ffs we are still in 5th place, 3 points off 4th, this season we have played some of our best football for a long time

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jan 2013 15:08:41
For the poster saying we are 5th, 3 points off 4th, yeah that's great and yeah I don't think that any of us expected that this year and yeah, we probably are getting carried away with where we are with our finances and what not. But this is where we should be, at the top of the table challenging for europe, challenging for titles. We shouldn't be resigned to finishing in the top half of the table, we should be pushing for honours. I'm sick and tired of hearing about how we have bad starts to the season and great second halves and the what ifs, if we could only start well. This year we have started well and had a minor dip in form lately. So for one I want the team to keep pushing for Europe now that it is in our grasp. Finishing the season in 5th or lower now will be a disappointment in my books. But i'm realistic and we'll have to see what happens, but I don't think we should accept 5th as a huge achievement. We are Everton, a BIG club and we deseve more.

Ray {Ed025's Note - good post ray..

Echo rumour mill saying butland is moyes top priority, personnel I think cm& striker is top priority's {Ed025's Note - so do i..

Believable9 Unbelievable6

From what I've heard Howard wants to return to America. He may even do so at the end of the season if we get a replacement.

Agree0 Disagree0

Howard wants to return to the US after his career is over, he said on soccer am he would happily end his career at goodison and then he will go back to the US to live after that!

so many stupid rumours coming out of people not listening/reading properly

just heard a rumour that rednapp ' qpr has today made a 4.5m bid for jonny heitinger.hope its true we need money for a striker boyblue

Believable12 Unbelievable13

No chance he said he was not good enough st the euros to play for everton let alone Holland !

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree he won't play for us agen as he's ad a bust up with moyes he's not injured at all fact !

Agree0 Disagree0

'Arry publicly stated that he didn't want a player? We can start spending the money now!

Agree0 Disagree0

Cannot see johnny being keen to play in the championship, and it's nailed on.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jan 2013 15:05:30
he was right, neither is naismith. Ray

Agree0 Disagree0

If Redknapp said that he's gone up in my estimation as he's right. None the less, lets hope we see old bacon face announcing the transfer out of his car window.
Addo

Agree0 Disagree0

And we'd be helping them get relegated by selling them Heitinga! All the more reason to sell him!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll drive him there myself and book a truck for his furniture and deliver it.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't understand why everyone is so desparate to get rid of heitinga. He was voted player of the season last year and rightly so because he was outstanding with didtin whilst jags was injured. YES his performances this season have been generally poor and YES we need money to strengthen but it's not like he's going to bring in enough to buy quality cover in CM and CF (and CB, as if he goes we're a bit short there too!). The reality is, in my opinion, that he would walk into most teams in the premiership, provides experienced cover at CB and DCM, he knows the club/ players/ manager/ system and hasn't actually publicly said he is unhappy or wants to leave.
If he has to be sold either because he wants to or to free up cash then so be it but I don't get why everyone seems so keen to ship him out when any replacement (in any position) won't necessarily be any better

Lotan

Agree0 Disagree0

It's amazing that some of our supporters can turn on a player, Heitinga was our player of the year for last season.
Ste Old Swan

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow, why so much negativity on Johnny H?Some of our fans change like the wind.....incredible and does my head in! I bet those same fans voted him player of the year last year! - get off his back or go and support the RS - your negativity best suited on there boys
Barrym

Agree0 Disagree0

Get off his back. he has helped put everton where they are now. if he is sitting at home reading this now. it'll make him want to leave.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree we can't let him go and leave ourselves short at the back as clearly moyes has no faith whatsover in duffy as with any of our younger players.
Johnny has been unlucky in that he has never really had a run of games.
still a good player for me. hope he stays

david moyes to sign malaga striker sebastien fernandez as he is availiable for cheap after a fall out with the malaga owners. moyes also interested in valencia youngster Paco Alcacer on loan until the end of the season with a view to another year on loan.

Believable16 Unbelievable12

23 Jan 2013 10:18:49
Everton to bid for young Leeds star Sam Byram, however I doubt he will vome because leeds are asking for around £5m for the right back and everton have no money to spend.

Believable6 Unbelievable13

Not sure about that as we have other priorities, and with young Tyias Browning getting in and around the first team squad as right back cover, we just need to manage with what we have got and be patient at RB.
Addo

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jan 2013 15:20:14
We have a RB - no chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Tyias browning won't meet the criteria mate he gets ripped apart at reserve level he only got onto the bench because no Neville Coleman or hibbert with Duffy being the other defender byram is experienced at championship level is young English and is one of Leeds best players moyes had brang in gems from the championship before and I see him being another If we were to get him whether its January which is unlikely or summer which seems more likely he would be a great addition

Been hearing charlie austin now

Believable8 Unbelievable14

Why not give a try, only 23 years old and is a proven goal scorer.just look what alan shearer done?

Agree0 Disagree0

Your hearing charlie austin? So is that a burnley sensation in your ears? Best go the doctors

Agree0 Disagree0

Burnley have lodged a bid for wes thomas of bournemouth. Could be austin's replacement. Hope we don't get austin though, need better quality...someone who's Belgian or French

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jan 2013 15:14:36
Laughed at the Burnley sensation joke. Very good

Agree0 Disagree0

We are everton you may get a good cb out of championship but we need a top quality cf of top league level

Agree0 Disagree0

So no messi, Ronaldo, van persie or villa coz there not French or Belgian? Get a grip we've had a good experience with one Belgian (not enough time to judge mirrales) and now we should sign there national team!
