It's surely just all media speculation at present - driven by agents, etc., planting stories; or it's lazy opinionated journos being desperate for something to fill their pages; or it's us - the ever gullible fans - biting on these items and repeating them throughout social media and these websites/forums as we desperately (compulsively) trawl for news about our club.

ok rumours going around we are after Adama Traore from Barcelona B. They lost 7-0 at the weekend and are bottom of there division. why would we want that sort of player who can't help a second rate team. never mind us. From what I saw on sat we are a shambles and we need to start looking at our team. We need 2 new centre backs just to start with and I'm sorry but Lukaku is not doing anything for me this season a totally lacklustre performance again. Any suggestions to who we can go for or who could do a better job within our price range? I hear Christopher Samba is available for 4m surely he would do ok?

Right I will stop you there, you do know he is 18 right, you also know he is very highly rated at barca, wigan still got relegated with mccarthy, is he awful?. He would be a good loan signing and i'm a massive fan. Christopher samba, jesus that's scraping the bottom of the barrel, a defender who can't use the ball, has no pace and actually isn't that powerful. 4m? Give over, qpr still got relegated with him, awful player who couldn't even help, am I right?, maybe, samba is basically a fat joseph yobo without the pace.

Swan I couldn't agree more with your comment it was worded brilliantly! Samba is a donkey! Lukaku is 21 we aren't playing to his strengths give him a ball to run onto he clearly doesn't do well in the air and he needs to work on holding the ball up. If we get a CB surely there is better than samba. We need good competition for Howard we need to start playing wide players out wide. Besic McCarthy and Barkley should be our main CM and maybe try 2 up top rom and kone could be a serious force

Lukaku needs balls to run on to. He is useless with back to goal so why are we playing that way it beggars belief. Spend £24m on a striker and then don't play to his strengths. I'm afraid Martinez needs t take a hard look at himself and his tactic
