Hadn't we activated his release clause so ultimately it's up to the player, unless that's what he's implying. I think it'll go to the wire, he's probably waiting to see if any other clubs come in for him then he's in a stronger position to negotiate a higher wage, it's pretty standard practice with the agents these days.

After today's game, Manager said the President of the club will decide soon but he isn't worried about losing him. He wants him to stay and interest from Everton and Everton does not worry him. Yarmolenko when asked about Everton refused to comment, instead saying 'got to run'. Which seeing how it's Everton he probably did his hamstrings in whilst running and who can blame him from running away when he could end up playing in the same team as Tom Cleverley, Aiden McGeady and Tim Howard. He is probably worried about his hamstrings going if he signs, McGeady stealing all his food, Mirallas stealing his penalties and Gibson running him over, I'd run away too.

So, if Stones is "rested" for the midweek League Cup match against Barnsley, does that mean he's leaving? Besides, there are other Premier League clubs supposedly interested in VVD. Anyway, VVD might be being kept back for Celtic's crucial second-leg against Malmo in midweek.

The last reply I saw ended with "if another party comes in we will evaluate it". On the one hand RM has said it is too late to replace him, yet on the other he suggests he won't be sold to Chelsea. but other clubs may be entertained.

I believe Dynamo Kiev announce their squad for something tomorrow, if Yarmolenko is in it, the deal is not as advanced as we thought. If he's not in it, well, make sure to stay away from people and mop yourself up immediately.

I think they would name him anyway, there is no indication that it's a done deal as yet. If talks break down they would still have him in their squad
