According to other internet sources Alex Ferguson is looking to bid £10 million for Rodwell.

Believable3 Unbelievable22

ask for cleverley or 20m

Agree0 Disagree0

That would be great but we need a striker and wide player, no chance of welbeck or valencia

Agree0 Disagree0

Were not that mean not even to old biscuit face they can have him for 2 snickers bars

Agree0 Disagree0

10 mill wow thats rodwell.yobo and the yak if he wants

Moyes hoping to shift yobo yak and Billy hoping to get podolski and pedro Leo on loan {Ed025's Note - cant see it mate..

Believable2 Unbelievable26

Like it to happen but unfortunatly we're skint and money from them sales would probably go to the bank.

Everton to sign Pascal Chimbonda as cover for Baines, he is a Right back but is versatile and can play all along the back line

Believable5 Unbelievable31

I really hope not id rather give garbutt more opportunities

Sportsvibe.co.uk are saying sunderland are willing to offer 11 million for cahill If thats true then we should take it 11 mill for a 31 year old very good Plus if he goes (which will be sad to see) then thats him of the wage bill and may force moyes to play 2 upftont, a great deal all round i think What you reckon ed? {Ed001's Note - personally I think, for all his fantastic heading ability, he stifles Everton's play and forces a particular system of play on the club. I doubt Sunderland would pay 11m for him though, not at his age.}

Believable5 Unbelievable24

I wouldnt sell him... not for 20m

he has been a great servant to the club

Agree0 Disagree0

If they did offer that, snap their hand off. Although Tim's been a great club servant that's just too good a deal and we could get in a good striker for that kind of money. Provided it doesn't all go to the bank

Agree0 Disagree0

Definitely don't want to see him go, he's one of the foundations to our club

Agree0 Disagree0

We can only hope

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd happily sell but there's no way Moyes would sell and no one is even interested...

GP

Agree0 Disagree0

And that's why we will rarely play 4 4 2.
As long as Cahill isn't benched we will always play 4 5 1 as he can't tackle and can't play in a 4 man midfield.
He has too much influence on how we play.

Agree0 Disagree0

For 11m I would drive him there myself. But I know its rubbish. Cahill should be a impact sub and cup player. Great servant but his best days have passed. We need to be more positive and play 4-4-2 and Cahill does not fit that system {Ed025's Note - i tend to agree..

Agree0 Disagree0

Why sell your best assetts would not sell cahill {Ed025's Note - its about opinions mate...if we got £11m....how could we refuse?

Agree0 Disagree0

Is there something wrong with these people we cant score and cahill is probably the most likley to so why sell him if we get 11m how much will go back to the bank and how much would it cost to replace a player who can score 10 to 15 goals a season get real

Agree0 Disagree0

2-years ago it would have been madness to sell him. Today, given his age, salary and our need for money, £11m would be great business.

The only fly in the ointment on this rumour is that there is no way in hell that anyone will offer us that kind of money. Halve it, and I might believe the rumour.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cahill is one our senior players. He is the heartbeat of the club. We need more like him not to sell him

Agree0 Disagree0

The original rumour was for GARY Cahill not Tim, at his age Tim is worth 5 million at most

Agree0 Disagree0

If the money could actually be spent, it'd be a decent deal. But the bank would get at least half... not so great then.

It will come to late to deal in this window, but an approach has been made for the club. It's very preliminary, no details have been discussed, yet, but it doe's seem genuine. Bill, if you really are an Evertonion, for god's sake make a deal. No one want's to see you go broke, but, if you break even, make a sale and leave with our best wishes.

Believable24 Unbelievable23

Would love to believe this but I just cant bring myself to believe. Although, didnt BK say there was interest from an Italina guy and some in the Middle east and that there was some sort of meeting at 8pm the night of the interview? I really hope we sell the club, for our sake and BK's sake. I think he is getting hard done by, whilst the likes of Green and Earl are just sitting on a mountain of money

Agree0 Disagree0

More crap unfounded and not backerd up

Agree0 Disagree0

I think know could be the time considering BK is under increasing pressure from everyone

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe alll this publicity has worked in evertons favour of finding a buyer.....as before we we hardly on the news ....so now we have been there maybe a chance of a takeover

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree , just more crap.

But there was a guy on talk sport the other morning talking about takeing over Everton.
Anyone any idea who that was, only caught the tail end, i think it was early Wendsday morning I think

Agree0 Disagree0

I too pray for a deal to be struck so we can have some stabilty within our club. To be fair i think we have a decent team i revised a comment made a couple of days ago that if a billonaire was to step in like Man City he wouldn't need a complete new team. I think we need a top class RB also Striker for sure and another playmaker in Midfield. Moyes lost that game against QPR not Everton because of that stupid tatics i still and will never understand what the Hec he was doing playing Rodwell RM. Fingers Crossed our great club can sort this mess out, If BK claims he is the die hard everton fan he is, He will let go..

Agree0 Disagree0

If he wants the best for the club, he should get the fans involved to discuss whats best for the club and not just whats best for the board's back pocket fatter.

In Moyes we trust.................Sack the board

Agree0 Disagree0

Would 100% rather have a new owner than make a few s**te 2-3 million pound signings

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard about this, apparently the guy is a unicorn farmer who made his money initially selling rocking horse manure

Agree0 Disagree0

Were did you hear this rumour

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe that all this talk of take overs and attacking Bill Kenright and the board is a disgrace. People seem to have a very short memory. It wasnt that long ago we were fighting relegation year in year out. At least the board and Bill have been transparent, which other club has the chairman meeting fans to discuss matters. The lack of respect shown by those who released that tape has further undermined the club and has not helped right at the start of a new season. I hope you are proud of yourselves. Bill and the board have repeatedly said they would sell but not to just the first person to claim to have a few million in the bank. Do people remember what happened at Birmingham, West Ham among others. Wake up people, we have a good team. Yes we need more depth in the squad. I ask who do they think we could sign if we had £20M to spend? and also where have they been for the last 10 years. Its not like we suddenly found out we have no money. Id rather a club run as ours has been since Bill took over (he got Moyes in the first place) then some others I dont care to mention. Given him some support and unite with the team. Trust them. In the long run it will pay off. Personally Id wldnt swap the Manager, Spirit and togetherness of our club for any over rated so called £10-£20M star any day.

Agree0 Disagree0

Have faith, it will happen soon
