I have just read on twitter someone saying Stubbs being announced tomorrow. Hope not perriera all day for me.

Believable4 Unbelievable15

Well then him and Bill better have helmets and shields ready cause there will be some really pissed off Evertonians. Stef the blue

Svenny mate if you are right on this one I will always look on what you say with great interest but please mate don't take this the wrong way if you are wrong the posters on this site are going to hunt you down lol looking forward to your post tomorrow. Stef the blue

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Stef and a few others, no if one of the back room staff don't want to work with him then it does not mean we will not hire him but contracts etc would have to be cancelled. Money wise we will have upwards of 30 mill for fees alone this is not just down to tv money, we also increased our match day revenues by about 16% this season with forecasts of further growth next season. I posted last night as there seems to be an impatience and a fear from a lot blues despite it only being 3 days since our season finished. Talks have been held an offer made and by all accounts it has been agreed, before anything is signed bk will inform the back room staff and get their input. Part of the agreement was a proof of funds hence the marquee signings.
Svenny

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that with or without the Felli money? And who is the new manager then svenny?

Agree0 Disagree0

I am expecting VP to make an annoucement today or tomorrow that he will not be renewing his contract with Porto, make of that what you will

Tony Pulis now favourite for Everton managerial hot seat as Stoke reports confirm that he has been released from Stoke. {Ed025's Note - thats just an out and out lie!..

Believable1 Unbelievable12

Well said Ed

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree ed, an out & out lie.

Agree0 Disagree0

I was wondering when someone would say he was favorite. Stef the blue

Agree0 Disagree0

What's the 'Dodgy Rumours' Page for if not for this eh Ed? Only joking mate ;) {Ed025's Note - you need to see the crap that i have to deal with AJ, this is just 1 example mate..

Haha, I don't envy you! Your work is appreciated tho {Ed025's Note - cheers AJ..

'Joe efc' - I am not making it up mate, I have got my information from factual sources, truth be known I think we r all as everton fans getting a bit impatient & want an appointment sooner rather than later so it doesn't muck our pre-season plans up & also not a crap appointment from within but from outside & one that oozes quality. but pereira has definitely met with kenright yesterday so we shall just have to wait & see what transpires. One thing for sure, I certainly don't want Lennon as boss!

Believable13 Unbelievable0

Fair enough and I apologise if you are telling the truth it just seemed to be that you were just naming managers as people posted different rumours I apologise if this wasn't the case.
Joe EFC

Agree0 Disagree0

No need to apologise joe efc, I didn't take any offence mate, as efc supporters we just all want what's best for our beloved club. let's hope we get some good news soon.

Agree0 Disagree0

While accepting Pereira may be a good appointment, hands up who really knew anything about him this time last week.
RickTee

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton fc have been monitoring him for some months now although I don't think they truly thought moyes would actually leave. My hunch at the moment is that the lure of champions league & new promises from the porto board will probably make him stay at porto, which will be a great shame as he seems perfect for everton fc. Fingers crossed. {Ed025's Note - i like him as well solly mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Your 100% correct I know this from very good contact, I posted same thing yesterday

Agree0 Disagree0

Think am going to go mad if we don't sort this soon lol but ino it's got to be the right man so obviously time needs to be taken. Zzz hurry bill

Ignore the Vitor Pereira rumours, know some one who works for Sport Innovation SA and he doesn't see the job being big enough with no European football. Slowly winning Porto fans over and champions league again with them this season. Not held talks with Bill.

Believable13 Unbelievable15

Met with bill today, will be introduced this week, poster is bulls--ing.

Agree0 Disagree0

No european football true. but i'm sure the rather large pay rise that comes with moving to the premier league might help him forget about that.

osman signed new 2 year deal tonite. surely the new manager has given the green light for that. mind you malky likes osman. tp.

have on good authority the porto manager WILL be our manager very very good source

Believable18 Unbelievable7

The same site says he is likely to stay at Porto and that he has used the discussions to strengthen his negotiating hand with the Porto board e. g. Give me more money or I'm off. I is not even clear if he spoke to everton, though speaking with Kenwright would put him off.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whos your source mate. why do people say very very good source just tell us who it is

!!! !! !!! !! !!!
Sorry folks, I may be wrong about lennon, I have now just heard that vitor pereira (who has always been my first choice for the job) has held talks about becoming the next everton manager with bill kenright at his office in London over the last couple of days, if you don't believe me check out the 'maisfutebol' website in Portugal. If bill pulls this one out of the bag I will be so happy as will so many other evertonians - come on bill do it for the fans if nobody else!! If he gets the job he wants to bring 'Atsu' with him. Exciting times ahead?

Believable17 Unbelievable4

Youre just making this up as you go along. if Lennon now meets with BK you'll come back on saying "I told you so" by the way apparently Periera has been offered an extension by Porto and is considering it although rumours are strong that he has met with Bill.
Joe EFC

Agree0 Disagree0

Maisfutebol reported a few hours ago that Vítor Pereira held talks with two EPL clubs on Monday then flew back to enter into talks with Porto too. Maybe to tell them he is off, then again maybe playing games to get a better offer.

Porto coach in London for meetings Please let it be Everton GuernseyBlue

Believable12 Unbelievable3

Well it is Everton pereira is going to be our new manager his also taking a highly rated player with him to Everton

Agree0 Disagree0

'' According to Portuguese tabloid Maisfutebol, Vitor Pereira has held talks with a ‘top half’ Premier League club in London yesterday and today, before flying back to his native land for a media open day.

The Porto manager has been linked to Everton over the last few weeks, and London is coincidently where Toffees Chairman Bill Kenwright conducts business.

It is also thought by Maisfutebol that Pereira may have changed the minds of the Porto directors after winning another league title, and now may have a contract extension offer on the table. The talks with the Porto directors are also going to discuss salary and his control over future players, which has been missing in his current two year reign.

Pereira’s Porto side went the whole of last season undefeated, winning the title in the process. He has a 67% win rate, although isn’t a big fans favourite with poor showings in European competitions. ''

Everton to be entered into this summer's International Champions Cup tournament for pre season with the likes of Juventus, Benfica, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Chelsea

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Where and when

Agree0 Disagree0

Champions cup? why are we in it then?

Agree0 Disagree0

Aren't we doing a pre-season in Cape Town
Was on the official website

Agree0 Disagree0

It's being held in 6 US cities and 1 European City. Apparently it's being split into a 'Western' and 'Eastern' groups, so Western would be LA, Everton, Benfica and Madrid, and Eastern would be Juve, Milan, Inter and Chelsea. Being held from 27th July to 7th August. After group stage it's a knockout tournament, not sure how many teams qualify from each group though.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's on royalbluemersey now might be true probably worth a few pennies.

Agree0 Disagree0

Elstone said last year that we would be playing some big teams in this summer's pre season do you know if this is true Ed?
Joe EFC {Ed025's Note - if the south africa tour goes ahead, there are some big teams going..

Hi guys, a little bit of inside information for all you fellow blues, I will not state my name as I do not want trouble, I work in the Everton FC as a member of staff, it is known to a select few who the new manager is hoped to be, it will not be any1 who is currently employed by EFC however the new managers right hand man will, it will be announced before the end of the month fingers crossed, you won't be let down blues it's the right man in my opinion and also the new manger will have a nice budget to spend and will bring in at least 2 great signings. From your fellow blue

Believable6 Unbelievable7

Its not rubbish, i'm the one who posted this and can't say cause its not finalised yet and its not for me to say who on here and svenny you must know the same I haven't seen your post ill look for it now though

Agree0 Disagree0

Because its utter rubbish mate that's why they won't say

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard its porto guy just dotting i's and crossing t's good source but not sure where he got it from but told me about fer and Stones before press got hold of it

Sorry to ruffle everyone's feathers, but I have just had it on good authority that we are about to appoint Neil Lennon as everton manager as he is kenrights preferred choice & was impressed with his European performances against the likes of Barcelona etc. & as I write this news, I've now been informed that Richard Buxton (merseyside football reporter) is saying the same, looks like its going to be Lennon then folks, you heard it first right here, watch this space.

Believable1 Unbelievable19

"you heard it here first"

think we heard this rumour a few weeks a go mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who are u then. the fly on the wall in Kenwrights office? Kenwright even said himself he is listening to fans aswell, plus I have it on very good authority he doesn't like gingers

Rich84

Agree0 Disagree0

My uncle works at goodison and he said greenwood was saying there was absolutely no chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we where in a sunday morning pub league, he would be the perfect choice.

If I see "you heard it here first" or "watch this space" I tend to think its just made up now, plus lennon is deffinite no no

Don't shoot me down and I can't give sources because last time I got in a whole pile of dog poo BUT I can promise you that don't trust bookies on this situation. They know nothing of this and they are abusing the situation by constantly changing favourites to get more bets, nobody outside the club knows anything. I can say that we will not be hiring anyone who is currently employed by the club, however negotiations with all the staff are ongoing to make sure they stay, this was Moyes recommendation to the board. The assistant might change but that's it everything else stays the same, some of the staff want to move on to get higher placed jobs eg Stubbs could move from reserves to assistant at other clubs.
The new manager is coming from a current short list of one and he has essentially already agreed terms, the delay is purely down to the club getting the backing of the staff and the new man will meet them next week. It's not from the prem and its not domestic.
Eds I think I have been fairly non committal with this one but if it needs to be taken down like the one I put up a few weeks ago then please be on guard to remove.

It's exciting bluenoses and we have cash, I mean real cash for the transfer market. Expect a new manager with two marquee signings closely followed by mid June.

Svenny {Ed013's Note - I mentioned a few days who I think it is, but other than giving hints I cant say, it isn't 100% either}

Believable7 Unbelievable4

Get in! I was about to write this of as BS but I have been on this site a long time now and I know who the reliable posters are, cheers Svenny mate. Obviously I have no club inside information but I've just read that Perriera was in London yesterday for talks with a "top 10 EPL club" I reckon its us as BK conducts his business there. I posted saying I thought it might be a couple more weeks before we get in a manager but fingers crossed this is true.

What a lot of waffle from ya both. I know who it is but I can't say, so i'm right. ha you couple of plonkers, anyone can play that game, so when its announced ya say, "thats who I wanted to tell you but couldn't at the time". pffffffffffffff

Agree0 Disagree0

I bloody hope that's true Svenny!

Agree0 Disagree0

I also heard the same thing regarding the backroom staff being kept in place with Neville or stubbs as number two they don't want the new manager making wholesale changes and want continuity on moyes recommendation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Give me some hints Ed, I have nt see who you think it is

Taysefc {Ed013's Note - I got a tip off last week that the squad have been told it is one of them, although I didn't believe it at first, it does make sense. Cheap option, nothing to lose and knows the club inside out. Who knows, he could get his brother down to coach!!! In January I thought it would be Martinez, but not so sure any more}

Agree0 Disagree0

Lads come on stop with the teasing give a little bit more info Svenny I missed your last post mate and I hope this is not a wind up ed 13 are you an Everton fan just curiosStef the blue {Ed013's Note - I have a lot of respect for Everton mate, but not a supporter}

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry ed. I missed who you said it was a couple of days ago. who did you say it is. cheers {Ed013's Note - One of your team mate, I was tipped off by a contact, but was also told it would be announced this week, the clock is ticking! I put a bet on it so it probably won't happen now!}

Moyes should shut up and the new man be allowed to manage!

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't say anything in terms of sources because I got in genuine trouble last time I did, I will write a completely seperate post tomorrow guessing who I believe the manager and the signings will be because I now know what I legally can and can't say but I have it from high places within the club that the decision has been made, the only delay is making sure that the back room staff will work with the new manager as he is happy to work with them.
Our books will show a profit for this season which with the fair play restrictions put us in a position to splash the extra tv cash unlike a lot of other clubs in and around us.
We will be pleasantly surprised by the summer and the ambition shown, whether it results in a positive in terms of achievements is obviously unknown but 3 things I can say are he is not a domestically based manager, he has agreed in principle with a budget to spend and Felli and Baines are going nowhere.

Svenny

Agree0 Disagree0

So Neville then? I bloody hope not, not yet anyway can't think of any other members of the squad it could be.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 May 2013 20:27:45
Also for those saying missed my last post, I post all the time with my opinions but a month back I posted about Moyes future and the selling situation of the club giving a bit too much info on my sources from within the club, within 12 hours I was threatened with legal action by said people and had to remove the post. I have no real emotional ties to my sources and have a huge emotional tie to my club and the fans are the club so I will continue to pass on info when I get it but I learnt lessons and can't name and shame like I did. Put it this way though I said Moyes was gone a month before he went, and he had told the club so. Not Utd based just that he was going

Svenny

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe one of the signings is Rooney Stef the blue

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes I seem to remember Ed013 you said something along the lines ' how would you feel if it were one of the backroom staff' in response to a question. I thought it was a hint at the time. {Ed013's Note - Its a good possibility mate}

Agree0 Disagree0

This is getting to be a like an episode of Twin Peaks. (Wavertree Blue)

Agree0 Disagree0

It is solksjaer with p nev as his assistant

Agree0 Disagree0

So Svenny you know that there is a manager in place but you don't know who?

Agree0 Disagree0

So, speaking in hypothetical terms, if Pip/Weir/Stubbs/Dunc/Sheedy aren't keen on the idea or refuse to work with the proposed new manager, does this mean BK will not appoint said manager and we will not be signing 2 'marquee' signings (I'm thinking Moutinho and maybe Atsu, as examples)?
I know it has to be vague and you can't name sources as per your explanation, Svenny but, in that scenario, would the spotlight be focused on an alternative.

Agree0 Disagree0

How much will we have to spend Svenny?

Agree0 Disagree0

'Could bring his brother to coach'.
Hmmm. De Boer?!?

Agree0 Disagree0

What you mean ed one of my team {Ed013's Note - meaning, someone that is currently a squad member}

Agree0 Disagree0

To one of the posters above: I think Svenny knows who the new manager is but is not allowed to say for the reasons he's given.

Kenwright trying to carry on the belgian look as he wants to bring in defour from porto and naingolan from cagliari, making the midfield more creative

Believable11 Unbelievable8

No players will be signed or chased until a new manager is in place, I doubt Kenwright would chase a potential manager's wish list - given our budget. It doesn't even look like we are close to getting a new appointment. Martinez meets Dave Whelan next week, hopefully we won't get him. I think we will get a 'yes man' like Stubbs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Makes me laugh how Manchester United can get moyes just like that and we are pissing about to get a new manager ffs fat bill

Agree0 Disagree0

Since when has Bill indentified transfer targets and pursued them. Answers on a postcard to Lewblakey.

Agree0 Disagree0

Kenwright wouldn't make a choice like that unless moyes told him and if moyes wants them, we habe no chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 May 2013 19:08:12
good point that, why can Manchester United get their new manager before the season ends. And we are messing about. Hope we have some one in place before august.

Agree0 Disagree0

Man Utd were able to get a manager in during the season because he was appointed last year, BK has said he's not in a hurry to appoint a manager, that means he'll make the appointment on transfer deadline day thus saving millions.
