Those within the club obviously know a lot better than me, but I always thought we should give him a go when he was always on the bench. Very disappointed when he was released.

Granit Xhaka who we have been linked with in the past scored a cracking goal for Switzerland against France. As a backup cm he wouldn't be too expensive and has potential. Eds do you know if there is any interest in him from everton now?
