I understand to a point were they are coming from but this project will bring new homes and jobs which are much needed I take it not everyone will protest against it.

the place is always empty local people coming out saying they take walks through the park all the time that's the biggest load of bull I have heard unless they go for walks in the middle of the night if it goes ahead it will be great for the area.

Can anyone clear up why we have not got Stanley Park anyway as the Reds got the chance, someone told me the stadiums would be too close but that's got to be a load of garbage as why would that matter, I may have missed something or forgotten with oldish age.

{Ed025's Note - its concern over the infrastructure and logistics of the site i believe degs, it can be done but would cost more than other sites so we will just have to wait and see mate..

Cheers Ed, understand now mate just a cost thing, get the wallet out Mr Moshiri please.

So Howard finally leaving for usa but interesting to see he had nearly twice as many clean sheets as Southall something like 115 I think compared to about 55 for Southall who was the best goalkeeper I ever saw is this true?

{Ed025's Note - apparently mate..

20 Mar 2016 17:17:54
Lets hope he's given one last home game to add another clean sheet. and that the booboys give him the respect that any player who is selected to wear are club badge deserves.

Reading Ed002's comments, I think the Moyes option makes a lot of sense. Think about it, we now have money for team investment that we have never had before and I'd imagine it's one of Bills big regrets of not having resources like that to offer Moyes. I can definitely see this happening if Martinez was sacked.

makes sense, I think he could do well with funds, look back at players we were linked with when he was the boss. only downside is the attack, he ruined almost every striker we had.

The big fat smug smile on his face when he was leaving to get to London the day the news broke Sir Alex was resigning killed any chance of a return for me, let's leave it in the past, I agree he done ok but we need to move on, let's find tge next Pochetino because he's out there.

He had funds at united and still managed to balls it up. can't believe people ever wanting the two faced lying dinosaur anywhere near the club again.

Are you actually joking? We don't need him back at the club, we need to move forwards not backwards!
koeman, De Boer, Mourinho should be names on the list, Everton for the foreseeable future should not have to shop bargain basement.

Guys. Read Ed 002's comment below and then my post. I am saying the option makes sense, I'm not at all for it. It's Bills view I'm commenting on as a possibility

He's not the guy to push us forward. Degs, you weren't the only one to witness that smug look on his face either. It makes me mad too

I'm just stating that Bill might well be for it, and that Eds idea might have legs.

For the record I'm supporting our current manager whilst we're still in with a shout for the cup and a possible Derby win too. After that, who knows!

Don't think moyes appointment for a second term would make any seance at all. he was a steady eddy and that's all. albeit I was a fan of his. However, I reckon Mr moshiri would want to make a bold statement of intent, reflecting the ambition he says he has for the club. In my humble opinion he needs to appoint someone of trusted pedigree. personally I'd like to see koeman or pelligrini. I think both have the awards to turn our current squad around and maybe enough pull to keep Rom for another season. that should be Mr moshiri's main objective in the summer. appointment of a big manager could help the cause.

Koeman would be great, wouldn't turn pellegrini down as such but would have slight reservations.
