Fellini to City is rubbish, it's made up buy a guy pretending to work for the Guardian.

Believable7 Unbelievable4

That's the paparazzi for you, he's been dead over 10 years, but we could always screen La Dolce Vita on the big tv's at GP.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha funny that mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Whoever give us best bid we sell them.Don't say certainly Manutd.

We rejected 3.5m from wba for vic anchiebe

Believable5 Unbelievable3

If Kone is worth 6mill then so is big vic.

Agree2 Disagree1

Good! Please keep Vic and get him in the team. Or at home play both himself and Jela!

Felli to Man City £28 million bid accepted. It's on gentleman and hopefully we'll sign four or five Wigan players with the proceeds!

#relegation {Ed025's Note - i wondered when you would look in nostra.. :)

Believable3 Unbelievable6

Pass, pass, pass, lose.

Good to be back Ed025!

Agree1 Disagree0

Forgive my naivity but is the man city rumour genuine? Do they need felli there? Jcl {Ed025's Note - i doubt it jcl..

Agree0 Disagree0

Bit optimistic there lad?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wer is this story from? {Ed025's Note - mars?..

Agree0 Disagree0

Yaya, fernadinho, rodwell can all play the holding roll and first two deffintly better, never going man city

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Sep 2013 22:32:25
Ince Barry. Deals are done more signings to follow

Believable2 Unbelievable12

We're not getting Ince, we don't sign Championship chickens

We could be using whelans big mouth as a smokescreen to hide our real targets!
But in a bid for McCarthy that we know will be rejected and let Dave whelan do the rest! :-)

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Doubt that anyone at the club is that clever, we have the most incompetent board in the league

Felliani to city. You heard it here second

Believable10 Unbelievable10

Lmfao second love it

Agree1 Disagree0

Would love that ha. Would rather Fellaini stayed.

Agree1 Disagree0

Not that I want him to go but that would be epic. City just pay what we want. Open cheque book. Rodwell, lescott, milner, barry will be sent to everton on frees with city paying wages. Lol

Hi edd. Not a rumour but information. I live on city road (which is rite by the ground for those of you who don't know). Just been up to the ground loads of activity going on and loads of cars for this time of night there. don't know whose they are but somethings happening. You any inside info wot?

Ian Glaister {Ed025's Note - no ian, but it could be SKY setting up for tomorrow mate..

Bruno Martins Indi didn't play for Feyenoord after being left our of the squad, he is expected to sign for us tomorrow. We are in talks with Blackpool for Ince. MCCathy bid no where near Wigans evaluation so not all said and done on that one. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Believable1 Unbelievable4

01 Sep 2013 21:31:20
we've had a bid for McCarthy rejected, at least bill is trying, any word on what our bid was Ed?,

BlueBob {Ed025's Note - £10m i hear bob..

Believable4 Unbelievable2

That's all he is worth, how can Whelan say they need time to get a replacement. they are in the championship so won't be paying more than that for one. he is screwing us over again

Agree3 Disagree0

I would offer not a penny more than £12 mill if they say no see yer later. {Ed025's Note - im all for that paul mate..

Agree0 Disagree1

7mil it was they want 20mil!! Ave got a feeling 14 will do it! 100% truth

Agree1 Disagree0

At least bills tryin u having a laugh why didn't he try 2 weeks ago because he had to sell to buy that's why so much for having the sky money.Pathetic if u ask me banks have taken it all what a joke. bye bye felli and baines thanks for the memorys

Agree1 Disagree0

Some miserable so and so's on here. Look at how much money Utd and Arsenal have but yet no signings yet. No point for signing sake. Jim White doesn't have his tie in some museum for nothing you know, everyone leave the business till the last day to try an pick up a bargain. It's exciting and I love it but it does my head in every year, let's hope I feel better after tomorrow.

Believable0 Unbelievable4

Who do you reckon they could be in your opinion {Ed025's Note - its changing as the minutes tick john, i thought Mcarthy was nailed on, but they are pricing us out mate..

We are pretty good at keeping things quiet during the transfer window, we didn't know anything about felliani till he more or less signed more recently Robles was under the radar, the McCarthy bid is only out there because of gobrubbish whelan, so I'm confident that things are going on behind the scenes and I also believe we will sign a couple of players that we haven't been linked with! What do you reckon ed? {Ed025's Note - i reckon your right si..

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Just read £10M bid for McCarthy turned down. Whelan says they are waiting to see what happens with us and who leaves?? In other words waiting to see how much we get, then he can try and screw us for more! The man already got RM the job and took cash for him even though he had said he wants to leave, then he got £5M for a striker that is worth probably £2M at best, now he is trying to screw us for more! Walk away please Bill! there are other clubs that we can buy players from! I am sick of this Wigan influence now running through our club and team.RM OUT!

Agree2 Disagree1

Totally agree. We always seem to be able to do some business without it leaking. Hopefully it will be a signing that will shut up the BK haters and moaners!

Agree0 Disagree1

For me, original poster is spot-on.

Ed, anything in these rumours about jesse Lingaard & Ryan Bertrand or is it usual paper crap?. Would like to see us bring in a striker, maybe Defoe or Rhodes. RaytheToffee {Ed025's Note - paper talk in my estimation ray, and i think we all can see we need a striker mate,,

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Hi Edd, hearing rumours that jonny will move tomorrow as well as feli and gauye. You heard anything similar?

Seamus {Ed025's Note - no seamus mate, nothing on johnny..

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Heard a whisper that City have come in for Felli with larger bid and odds on it happening have dropped. That will p*ss Moyes off no end if they do get him. Money for us to spend as well getting in some needed reinforcements, and hopefully a proven goalscorer

Agree1 Disagree0

That would be great, would have limited opportunities there though so know us they will come in with £30M to get him and then he turns them down!

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Sep 2013 20:39:45
7m bid rejected for mcarthy plus 3m in add ons.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

We will get him for 10mill plus 3mill add ons. He for sure ain't worth 15mill. We have money to spend without selling. If we sell Fellaini then expect at least another midfielder and striker.

Agree1 Disagree0

A lot of these bids are hyped up by agents and journos if there has been a bid deduct about 30% and I reckon you'll be closer to the truth. Some of these journos work for the agents. Remember a certain journo being closely involved with Stretford when Rooney left for MU.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good bid but why can't they go and find a player not connected in the last 10 years with Wigan.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Sep 2013 20:38:16

Believable2 Unbelievable2

01 Sep 2013 20:34:16
James McCarthy bid rejected. Bid believed to be around £10m.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

If its the case then either. 1. We have at least 10 mill to spend and 2. The money is available without us selling anyone or 3. we have agreed a price with man u on basis we get replacement first.

Agree0 Disagree1

I'll go with number 3 mate, spending the Felli money before he's sold, similar to what Spurs done before Bale sale.

Agree0 Disagree0

PLEASE don't BID ANY HIGHER!

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Sep 2013 20:30:34
Bid rejected for McCarthy, hope to god we only went in with about 8 million

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Hopefully he signs for Spurs, don't like his attitude.

Rumour that Everton have asked for Jesse Lingard on loan as part of Fellaini deal.

Believable7 Unbelievable3

Annoys me we are not a championship side I don't don't want anyone on loan as part of a transfer I mean we are Everton FFS

Agree2 Disagree0

01 Sep 2013 20:09:59
Felli 1/4 to be off according to bookies but they got Baines 5/6 to stay.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Doesn't mean anything. Baines was 1/6 to go at one point

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Sep 2013 20:07:50
If we sell Fellaini for 20+ mill I know we will sign McCarthy for 15 but k reckon 14 mill will get us cabaye

Believable1 Unbelievable2

13 was rejected by Arsenal, and they will see us more as rivals compared to them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cabaye was average at best last season. McCarthy is a great passer and has a good amount of creativity. He also has a lot of possession.

Atsu gone to chelsea for £3mill another one bites the dust!

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Can't believe we didn't try for Victor Moses. {Ed025's Note - you are guessing, that we never tried..

Agree1 Disagree0

Waste of money paying to loan a player, we could put that to good use elsewhere.

Believable10 Unbelievable3

01 Sep 2013 19:28:41
Barry deal done announced tomorrow, McCarthy bid in the next few hours negotiating price. Martinez looking at Ince and he will surprise us with a forward or attacker I think. I hope vela. Thoughts ed? {Ed025's Note - that would do me mate..

Believable7 Unbelievable5

01 Sep 2013 19:15:47
Dave whelan is on talk-sport, and just said everton are in current talks about McCarthy, I know the bloke is a bit of a tool, but come on dave, sell him to us! He will be a quality addition and will only get better.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

He can't hold his own water this person!

Agree1 Disagree0

Why can't Whelan leave us to discuss our own news.and great yet another relegated player from Wigan. Whelan must be loving all the cash we are giving him, plus the parachute payments Wigan are better off than we are! Shoddy and frightning

Agree2 Disagree0

He broke his leg in a cup final don't u no

Agree2 Disagree0

I don't know why he gets so many negatives the lad is a quality c/m always wanting the ball will be ideal parter with ross in c/m coyb

Agree1 Disagree1

I hate Dave Whelan!

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Sep 2013 18:55:59
Sorry guys but I think Rm has a plan, )it is wait to see the out come on LB and MF! Beside if both or one of them go then that leaves him with a shed load of cash. but he ain't stupid he knows we need a goal scorer and other positions but does not want to play his cards to early. Honesty think a new Eccentric is going to be born over the next24 hours or so.

Cez true blue.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

A plan? not sure about that. only plan he has is how to take a well run Premier League top 6 club down into the Championship

Agree0 Disagree1

Negative poster: begone foul demon!

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Sep 2013 18:54:09
Either yesterday or the day before Ed, you said you hadn't heard anything about a move for a striker. Is that still the case or could there now be something in the pipeline? Bluenose Will {Ed025's Note - it is the case will, but i hope robbie has seen that we do need a striker..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

01 Sep 2013 18:47:40
If! and a BIG if, . If we do manage to sign some top drawer striker on deadline day . Why the feck didn't we sign him 3 weeks ago at least? .

On that basis I am not holding out hope . Barry will be only signing, or if Fellaini goes we will get McCarthy . {Ed025's Note - 3 weeks ago, no one was leaving..

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Ed . No striker is leaving now, (well maybe Vic who would never be a prolific scorer - more a bundling hold up player, ) yet we still need one! So why not get one in earlier . 6 easy points lost so far {Ed025's Note - for me, bobby seen other areas as a priority, i suspect now he feels different..

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol! We have needed one for fecking years

Agree0 Disagree0

For me Bobbys first decision to sign Kone was not a wise one. I also don't think McCarthy is anything special. I am slightly concerned but I think that's just natural when you get new managers. I pray that bobby can improve on what we have done in the last few years. Only time will tell and I for one will be giving my full support.

Barry 100% signed.

Believable9 Unbelievable6

01 Sep 2013 18:20:32
Everton may move for Stefan Keissling, 29, for 5 million, prolific goalscorer from Bayer Leverkusen

Believable3 Unbelievable6

Not a chance we'd get him for 5m

Agree1 Disagree0

Just signed contract extention to keep him there till 2017.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would they sell him for £5m? He scored 27 goals last season and was one of the best strikers in the league. Even if he is 29, he will either stay with them for the foreseeable future or go for over £15m.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Sep 2013 18:20:17
Roberto Martinez has been told by Real Sociedad he will have to pay in excess of £15m to trigger the club to let Carlos Vela leave.

Believable4 Unbelievable4

01 Sep 2013 18:11:06
McCarthy and Barry seem to be solid rumours, but I can't help but think Martinez is holding a trick or two up his sleeve. I think we will be suprised come tomorrow. {Ed025's Note - im with you mate..

Believable4 Unbelievable5

I think we will be surprised too, BK will sell off the family silver at 5 to 11 and we'll get Barry on loan and Paul Scharner on a free.

Agree1 Disagree0

Totally agree and hope you're right, and I hope the trick up his sleeve is a proper goalscorer but younger and hungrier than what we already have COME ON ROBERTO!! Bluenose Will

Agree0 Disagree0

Scharner announced his retirement today 01.09.2013. Hope you've got a plan B

Agree1 Disagree0

You mean you hope Everton have a plan B?

Agree0 Disagree0

Thought Scharner was nailed on to come from Wigan as well.he will probably get a coaching job now then

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Sep 2013 18:01:14
We're being left so far behind its unreal. We need some decent signings, especially a striker tomorrow or we are heading down!

If felli and baines go at 11pm with the usual 'not enough time excuse' I will seriously lose it with Everton management.

Believable8 Unbelievable3

I think if that happens BK would not come to Goodison again.
I suspect he knows too well we are all watching and waiting on events tomorrow!

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly, and the longer Bungling Bill is at the helm we'll fall further and further behind. When we're in the championship maybe the BK fans will take notice in what he's done/doing to this club.
Up the Blue Union. {Ed025's Note - up yours..

Agree0 Disagree1

Mushy you couldn't be more wrong. The man and his board mates are shameless. They only way they will take the hint is if the fans start voting with their feet. A 10-15k drop on the gate would soon get their attention because a balance sheet defecit [much bigger than the current debt] and a dramatic drop in turnover are the only way to get rid of them. {Ed025's Note - good idea that...lets run the club into the ground, so that we go into administration, and end up in the championship!!...any more bright ideas einstein??

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha. Nice one Ed to many negative no#s on here

Agree0 Disagree0

It's going to happen mate so don't be surprised! Barry will save us thou haha

Agree0 Disagree0

Negative no#s?
It's called realism, my friend, it's not negative in the slightest. We've sailed dangerously close to administration 3 times under Bungle already, only the sly money is keeping the wolves from the door at the moment.
A slide down the league, decreasing attendances and less appearance money and we no longer exist.
But you keep burying your head in the sand, there's a good lad and when you take it out we may no longer be around. It's inevitable if we keep going as we are. Only a fool keeps repeating the same behaviour and expects a different result.

Agree0 Disagree0

The biggest problem at Everton is not BK, it's Elstone. He's clueless.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, we will end up in the championship, sorry Ed, but it's realistic! We are all fans and we all care very dearly for OUR club, we can't just hang on by our finger tips year in year out and believe we are going places.cause we are not, the only place were going is down! Can't believe how deluded some of our fans are! Wake up {Ed025's Note - are you serious??...i can guarantee we will finish top half..and you can take that to the bank!!

Agree0 Disagree0

I just can't understand why he takes us for mugs. what bout that teary eyed display on sky when he explained he had no idea moyse was headin to man u. wha the . honestly if he wasn't lyin he must be thick as . back to moyse let's give that 2 faced double standard . some grief when he comes to goodison. for those who say otherwise just go back to all his interviews bout clubs taking and disrupting his squad on deadline day and how those managers should be ashmed of themselves. look in the mirrow u person. anyway hope we can get 1/2 top players in. we don't need average. we have enough. naysmith!

Agree0 Disagree0

The only mistake Bill has made was giving the managers job to this bloke!

Roberto Martines 'We will come out of the transfer window stronger than it began'. HOW?

Believable7 Unbelievable5

I think roberto means he's getting all the players lifting bigger weights.haha

Agree1 Disagree0

Essentially if nobody is sold we have brought in players and not lost any other than Neville Mucha and Hitzelsberger therefore stronger.

Svenny

Agree1 Disagree0

Wait and see before you judge

Everton to sign Barry and James McCarthy Tommorow also hearing we will bring in a striker and lewis holtby

Agree0 Disagree1

Have faith. I think we may be pleasantly surprised

stewillow

Agree0 Disagree0

What a mess, only going to get worse from hear on in boys. Hold onto your seats.its going to be pretty shocking from now on.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, its messy.when the manager whines on about the window then now says he doesn't want to know about the transfers of players that may leave the club until they happen not a great sign.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Sep 2013 16:20:11
Ed, still confident on a big name signing? I beleive felliani and baines will go at the last minute like areta did then we have no time to bring a replacement and bill pays the banks.
toffeepete {Ed025's Note - we will make a big one pete..

Believable7 Unbelievable6

By big I hope you don't mean james McCarthy

Agree0 Disagree0

James McCarthy is not a big name, neither is Barry. We deserve a top international but fear we'll get nothing

Agree0 Disagree0

When u say a big signing your surely not meaning McCarthy?

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsenal came in late for Arteta and he asked to leave. His departure was left up to Moyse who let him go.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure some people are getting in a kerfuffle and confusing McCarty with his midfield partner McArthur.
McCarthy is a future star and will be a dominant player when he imposes himself on games more. Ok, so he's not Fellaini but who, in world football, compares with the big fella? There's no other like him.

Agree1 Disagree0

I fear too, I don't think we will get a "top" player never mind an average one, we are too slow as usual, spurs taking all the talent available then to sell em in 2 years, I fear that were goners! Bottom half for us!

Agree0 Disagree0

Does James McCarthy count as "big" Ed? {Ed025's Note - thats debatable, but i would say yes..

Agree0 Disagree0

Too many negative posts, time will tell people.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Sep 2013 15:56:59
I know craig short and he says that anichebe and 5 million for jordan rhodes has been mooted at ewood park

Believable10 Unbelievable13

Would be a good deal, he's a natural goalscorer who doesn't need 5 chances per goal like Beckford did.
Or 20 like the ones we have now seem to.
RickTee

Agree2 Disagree0

That would value Rhodes at around £9m. That's a bit steep isn't it?

Agree0 Disagree1

Spurs in talks to sign Ince and loan him back for remainder on season. Another one bites the dust. Does anyone on hear think we will sign a striker?

Believable5 Unbelievable8

No. . . .

Agree1 Disagree0

Bloody hell Spurs don't need more players

Agree1 Disagree0

He would be a good signing. Pace, skill and not affraid to shoot. 8mil is not a lot for a young english player.

Spurs are welcome to him hugely over rated just like his dad could mean we could go for holt by tho

Anyone else got the feeling something is seriously wrong here? Losing the wig and replacing with an overpriced McCarthy. Decent player but is this the highest calibre of player we are attracting? Losing out on the likes of Moses/Eriksson/Capoue/Medel/Fer/Sinclair to rivals for one reason or another is worrying. Miss the days of us getting the Speeds, Materazzis, Bilics etc. Says something when we can't compete with Swansea/Hull/Cardiff/Spurs any longer. Ed, any update on the Diame/Morrison rumours? Think we need solid dm and another creative player as priority and then backup at cb/up top. {Ed025's Note - i dont think diame, or morrison will be coming colonel..

Believable8 Unbelievable3

You can only loose out on players if you have bid for them. We haven't Moses is a player we don't need McCathy is an excellent player we do need & needed a decent striker for the last god knows how many years.

A Striker is what we need, no striker has scored yet and 2 games in a row we have not scored

They would be daft to go to a none top four club, see bar man mo keeping up his great record against the*hite YWNA just once ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

We are a selling club and will always be unless a billionaire buys us and that's not going to happen.

Agree1 Disagree0

After just witnessing their piss weak midfield display against the RS the price should go up to £55m. Seriously though, £45m would've been a good price 2/3 weeks ago but not now.
Sell a couple of fringe players if possible (Marvin, Johnny) and bring in McCarthy and a striker who can score, ie. Ba, Defoe

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly.how can you keep it held out til now and then agree £45M? They are desperate. Either get the £50M they are worth in cash up front or leave it and tell them they are not for sale.what is happening to our club is worrying.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Sep 2013 13:11:55
if bk an rm are being honest and we don't need to sell to buy why are we not looking to buy, everyone who has been linked with us have all been loans, somethin doesn't add up.

Buying and selling are completely different. They are not saying we have spare cash just that will not be forced to sell to keep the banks happy

Everton have rekindled interest in Austria Vienna striker Phillipp Hosiner, who had virtually a goal a game last season in the Austrian Bundesliga. Quick, versatile player with a good first touch and a clear eye for goal. He's priced at £4.5M. I think he'd be a strong option. Question is, would he want to move to us and leave the champions league this season?

Believable9 Unbelievable10

How could he possible pass up the oppertunity? Only a sellect few get the oppertunity to wear our jersey.!

Possibly Honda might still come to us, Kaka might be going to Ac Milan on loan which might cause problems with the wages because he will most likely be on big money if he takes a pay cut but will Milan want two players that play in the same position. Trying to stay positive! what do you think ed? {Ed025's Note - it would be nice mate, but not realistic IMO..

Believable2 Unbelievable12

Milan have made there last bid to buy honda and it was only 3 mil euros, and cska turned it down.

i also think that if we had agreed to sell either or both then surely the deal would have been done by now.
the rumours going around sayin if them two go then we will bring 4 in, I just can't see all them deals being done with so little time left.

I feel sorry for RM. BK has had him off telling him he had cash to spend. RM has to sell to spend how long has BK been in charge. BK keeps failing with investments selling the club and buying players. I hope I'm not wrong but I feel tomorrow will be a huge let down.

We have to give RM time are two best players have had heir heads turned an jelly and Kevin may want to go as well.

Big Ted

Believable4 Unbelievable7

I have been I big supporter of bill against a lot of stick he has got but if we lose either of those two on the last day, I will admit I was wrong. Because nearly all the quality replacements we could have gone for have been signed by spurs and we missed outon Honda. If we were prepared to do business then we should have named our price early and moved on and rebuilt. I must saybim nervious and am feeling my faith in the club being tested. This acceptence that we are a small club is a joke. Utd believe and maybe rightly so they can just come and gutt us when they please.

Agree2 Disagree0

Problem with doing business early and rebuilding was, nobody was in for him (MF) early so it wasn't a viable option. They bid a pathetic c. £16m, no way were we going to do business for that amount. The Gollum has deliberately dragged this out to undermine RM so he doesn't surpass his 'achievements' b
As an aside, I hear BK was in Boots in town earlier stocking up on Vaseline

Agree2 Disagree0

I don't think BK has been as bad as you're making out. Most of the players that Spurs have bought would never have chosen us over them. They can offer more money, live in London (a big draw to over seas players vs Liverpool) and they are undoubtedly closer to top four and look more likely to win a cup than us. So to say that we could have signed players like Capoue or Eriksen and that it's Kenwright's fault we haven't is rubbish. We need to stop looking through rose tinted glasses expecting us to have the draw to sign champions league too quality and well known players. Regardless of whether we have money, and I believe ed25 when he says we do, we cannot compete with the likes of spurs etc. I'd be gutted if we sold fellaini (more so than Baines) but to say its BKs fault would be presumptuous as we don't know whether fellaini or baines will have asked to leave, whether Martin ex has authorised it to reinvest etc so just stop blaming Kenwright sice it's the easy thing to do, and just support the bloody team. One things for certain and that is we need a strong and positive support otherwise it'll undermine everything that Martinez is trying to do. It is after all only three games into the season, two clean sheets and undefeated.

Agree0 Disagree1

Funny but BK seems to get plenty of investments when it comes to his theatre shows.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Sep 2013 11:23:04
It is sounding more likely we are going to spend ost of the Fellaini moey on Mcarthy. Can someone please explain how it is a good deal for us to pay the same money as we did for Fellaini.! Spurs pick up Erikson, & Holtby for less then that combined!
Martinez said he wanted to end the window stronger than we started. So far we have only added squad players with the exception of Deulofeu I am really worried we are offloading our 2 best players and replacing them with average players

Believable8 Unbelievable0

We should be paying £8mill max for McCarthy if we go in for him. If we pay £15mill, then we have completely p*issed away £21mill on Kone and McCarthy. For £21mill you can do a lot better

He is better than Kone, absolute disgrace.just feel like the club has gone from a decent strong position to a bit of a joke.currently in 15th in the league, that is where we are going to hover for the season. We are all worrying about what will happen in this window, I think its also January that will see people leaving in droves.why would Jela and Kev stay at a club that has gone from European hopefuls with great spirit to relegation fighters.just hope this manager doesn't take us down like his previous club. Still cannot get over how anyone though appointing a relegated manager was a move in the right direction.its beyond belief.shame, have enjoyed the last 10, 11 years and felt positive that we could maintain or even push on with the right manager, instead we have taken a negative backward step. One I fear we may not recover from. Any potential buyers won't look twice now. {Ed025's Note - its 3 games in mate!!,,get a grip..

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes I agree Ed give them a chance. Jela tried yesterday but just could not make it happen had one good header though. Kone touch was better than jela. I think anichebe can do the job he was good last season.

Just watched MOTD, where does RM get off saying restricted Cardiff to nothing?? They looked to have dominated the opening part of the match.

Definite pen though.

Also just read in the Echo that RM doesn't want to know anything of transfer bids only wants to know of final outcomes? What kind of manager doesn't want a say in what happens? {Ed025's Note - we battered them mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

You must realise by now that motd is biased towards everton. That clip of game has been edited to make it look that way

Agree0 Disagree0

Biased towards Everton? Are you joking, we battered Cardiff. If it wasn't for our players not taking their chances it would have been easy a 3-0 win like Swansea last year.

We need a striker more than anything. Hernandez, Defoe, Ba, Moses - I would be happy with any of those whether its a loan or permanent. I know it won't happen but I would use Fellaini money to bid for Benteke and get Bill to use the money he received from TV deal (it does exist) to replace Fellaini. {Ed025's Note - no arguments from me mate..

We are in trouble, ever since the negative appointment of a relegated management team and poor early signings the writings on the wall. Three useless draws, yes lots of possession blah blah but doesn't win you games. Said at the time and got shot down would rather have had Mark Hughes. Yes he had a shocker at QPR but fundamentally a good manager with the right values. and low and behold he is winning matches. Passing the ball 60 million times in your halve doesn't win matches. {Ed025's Note - mark hughes??...really??..

Are all three of those players even worth 30 mil? There are plenty of better left backs then Bertrand within our budget.

Cannot see this happening. I think even a 5yr old can see our problem on the pitch, and I don't see how signing 2 defenders and a centre mid will fix our problem going forward.
